"My experience with this company and their complete lack of service after the sale along with mislead "free shipping" special results in a poor rating. I ordered a dining room table set which arrived with damaged glass, pieces missing from chair and marks on table. During discussions to reolve the customer service people were rude, uncooprerative and unhelpful. I will never order from this company again and would not recommend them. P.s. I am now receiving past due notices from the delivery company for the fee i paid to home element to deliver the furniture. "

"I ordered a living room set from Home Element & the furniture itself is exactly as pictured & we are very happy with it. The only thing that I think that could have made my experience better was improved communication, mostly with the delivery company. I was told, by Home Element, that it could be delivered to my garage with no problems but when I spoke to the delivery company they could not guarantee delivery to my garage b/c my garage was not "standard length." I don't know what a "standard length" is since most people in my neighborhood have the same length driveway or longer. The delivery company was about an hour & a half earlier than they said they would be here, only sent 1 man originally when 2 were needed. Eventually another guy came but not for almost an hour. So, all in all my experience with Home Element was OK. I learned my lesson about "standard length" driveways & will make sure delivery is guaranteed before I purchase something."
"I bought a narrow chair-side storage table to sit beside my Queen Anne wing back chair. The table arrived securely packed--triple-packed, in fact--so that it took a while to take all the packing materials off--and the furniture was without blemish. The storage shelves behind the door provide a good amount of space, and the pull-out tray on top nicely holds a cup or glass. The table is finished in a dark cherry, which goes well with the rest of my furniture. I am quite happy with my purchase."
"This is the first time we ordered furniture on the internet. 1 of 3 pieces came with a scuff mark and tear on the back corner. Contacted Homelement and was put in touch with the claims department. You never how how customer service will be if there is a problem when you order something on the internet. Homelements has been exceptional. They responded quickly and even followed up when they had not heard from us in a few days. They resolved the issue to our satisfaction. We will definitely Consider Homelement.com when we purchase furniture again.

"I found Homelement surfing the net looking for a lift chair. Local furniture stores were swelling the same item for $1200.00. Homelement sold the exact same chair and model number for half that. I bought two. By having to out of town I caused a delay in their scheduled delivery time. Their reps were more then accommodating and respectful. I may still buy locally but not until I've checked for that same item at Homelement. Consider me very satisfied with giving my business to Homelement.

"I do not recommend using Homelement. I ordered a recliner from this website and the whole expierence was terrible. The first chair that was sent to me was missing 2 legs and had a scratch down the side of the chair. When I called the claims department they were not helpful, and all but blamed me for their mistake. Weeks later my second chair arrived with 2 holes in the leather that had been camouflaged with leather polish. I refused to accept this chair and was on the phone immediately with the claims department. Two days later I still had not heard anything else so I recontacted the claims department. Again, they were not helpful and blew me off. I finally requested a refund. I did get my money back a week later, however I never recieved another email from the claims department. "

The repeatedly promised delivery on specific dates and then never showed. This happened 3 times before they finally delivered it and it was left with someone else because I was not home. They did not call to confirm as promised either. Moral of the story - Buy from Homelements because they are the best price you'll find - but specifically request to NOT have it shipped via YRC!"

"Massive problem, they will not ship to another address unless you add it to your credit card! Of course this is not mentioned during the checkout process.
I called them, talked to a "supervisor" who claimed it was just for my protection, I explained we are a business & needed it shipped to a job site & that no other supplier (their competition) does this, so she hung-up on me. And just before she hung-up on me, she said their company had great customer service, they were BBB rated, & that she had 14 years experience, then click! I have about 30 years experience in customer service & that was a real first having a supplier with an order in house with them just hang-up.
I called back, got a different supervisor that was much nicer & she released the order.
Will our company use Homelement again? Highly doubtful. ATG & Wayfair (CSN), even Overstock are much more professional.
So look out, they have a terrible dropship policy & at least one terrible supervisor, who knows what other problems they have.

Homelement just responded to my above review:
A) They lied about their policy, they told me repeatedly that their policy is NOT to ship unless you the buyer adds the dropship address to the credit card. This was the problem & why she hung-up on me. Liars!
B) They did not apologize for the problem or hanging-up on a customer.
C) Just buy from their competition & you will save time & grief.
So, in conclusion, we have established that they are liars & have the worst customer service I have experienced in 30 years of experience in the field.
Our company will make a special effort to avoid them & let others we do business with know too.
