"I purchased two sofa from Home Element and one of the arms was broken. Upon speaking with their claims department they would not even help me correct this matter. The fact that the sofa was broken was blamed on me. I would strongly suggest to not purchase anything from Home Elements. The prices may be good but the customer service is extremely poor and you may be out money with a broken piece of furniture.

If warehouse does not stack sofa then why stack them to ship? Stacking the sofa was not the customers decision."

The table is very heavy, and you should have help to move it. Assemble it inside your house, not in the garage. The four chairs are a great match for this table. "The furniture set looks super sharp - deep true black, nice lines and good size.

Although a leadtime of a few weeks out from order placement, The order did ship on the exact date as stated after placing the order.

Packaging was good, but still took enough of a beating en route that a few dings has to be touched up with a black marker.

The hardware is metal, but note that the legs accents are actually just painted silver. Doesn't really show though, down low like that.

Some quality Notes: One drawer slide had to be shimmed and re-attached becuase the drawer would always fall off track. A couple of the drawers were aesthetically not squared up, by up to a quarter inch from one side to the other. There were a few defects that were apparently filled and blended in at the factory. On the gloss black surface these show up. One blended location the laminate has since delaminated and will have to be glued back on with clamps. Although it has not failed at all, it strikes me that there could be some re-inforcing between the tall head board and the bed frame. "
