"I found the site through pricewatch and ordered a motherboard with ram on the first of Feburary. I read on the site that it would take 2 days for them to get the item ready for shipment, and i paitiently waited.. Four days go by and I did not recieve anything confirming shipment.

I then got on the phone and called Customer service, i let it ring many times and called over and over. I then gave up on customer service and called the sales desk.. From there the guy was rude and i got upset and argued with him about why he can't even see what the hold up is. I then asked to speak to a manager, the manager then said that this is "sales" and he can't help me but call the customer service dept. I then told him that they were not answering. I was completely outraged at this time and wanted to speak to the owner, to which i was told that he was "on vacation and will not be back untill next month. I got of the phone with him and called back hopeing to get someone else on the phone, which i did. I then asked this new guy if i could talk to the owner, and he said that he is out of the office for the day and would be in and out for the remander of the day.. LIE

The following day i called the customer service and got a answer.. He stated that i fill out a tracking request for the item and wait.. So i did just that.. i waited and waited till teh 11th of Feburary. At which time I called and asked again about my order, this time i was told it was shipped out in the morning. I then got off the phone and placed another tracking request.. still nothing... Two days later i finially recieved confirmation that it has been shipped..

GREAT i thought to myself.. at least it made it here... Well I installed the device and found that the motherboard was bad!! Now I have to return it and wait for a new one...

When i called up about the return, the man who answered was very nice, which suprised me... Anyways he assured me that they would reimburse me for the shipping and that they would get me a new one right away.. So this is the only thing i liked about them so far with no complaints.

So here i am waiting.. how long.. i am unsure.

"I (apparently) met with the same fate as another person down this list did. I got the Infinty website by searching pricewatch. Never had a problem with vendors from Pricewatch before, until now.

I would have to echo the sentiments of those below that this business experience rates as one of the worst I have experienced. There is no contact, even after repeated messages to their "customer service" department. I selected the "ship tomorrow" option so that the parts I ordered would be shipped out the next business day. I have as yet to receive ANY contact information from them whatsoever - email or voice.

I am sure that, based on the ratings below, that there will be some LAME A$$ excuse for the extremely poor and ridiculous service they provide. As another "rater" stated below, I was not prepared to simply hand over more than $500 and simply close my eyes and say repeatedly, "please ship my stuff, please ship my stuff!" and hope for the best. This is what they would have you do - it is blasted all over thier website. A first time buyer has NO IDEA of just how crappy the service at this place is.

I have given up on the order, and have decided to reorder my stuff from another trustworthy vendor. If anything does ever arrive from them, I will refuse shipment and have American Express reverse the charges.

Ladies and gentlemen, there are simply TOO MANY vendors with prices at or near thier prices, and that have good to above average customer service to have to put up with thier dis-service. And, if you consider the trouble you will be putting yourself through, you should steer clear of this company.

Please do not be fooled by any proposed sincerity of any response by the company to this rating. Please do not perpetuate a negative situation -- there are enough scamers on the internet as it is.

"This reseller is the worst Internet company that I ever deal with. Ordered one computer case w/350W power supply. But they shipped me one wrong power supply. They let me hold more than 30 mins long distance phone call. And some CSR told me I have to pay the shiping charge to send the wrong item back to their company. The manager was rude and totally non-sense about power supply, he said there no difference between the wong item with my 350w power supply.

Avoid the CRAP if possible.

UPDATED: This kind response is totally non-sense. I ordered 350W PW, u give me 300W and told me it is better quality than my order. With your company's reputation, No one could believe it. Read some comments in the list, I can't rely on your company's return credit. Anyway, I already dispute the charge in my credit card. I believe my credit company will deal it with u for me. They already credited the amount to my account.

So anyone has problem with the non-reputation company, just dispute it with your credit card, your credit card company will help you. And you could get your full amount credit refund.

You are ruining your company's reputations and making your company out of business.

"Ordered it on 1/27, charge my CC on 1/29. No tracking number. Called them on 2/3, CSR said the case will arrive their company 2/4, and ship out 2/4. Wait for ONE MORE WEEK, no further information, no tracking number to my email even I filled out a tracking number request! Called them 2/10, got the same CSR, the same answer!!! I'm going mad!! Last week, they told me the item will ship on next day. One week later, still told me they will ship item next day. Can't believe them ANYMORE. Cancelled this item immediately! Don't order item from this website anymore, they are cheating!!

Reply to Infinity: I received this order on last Friday(Feb 21th), however, I've cancelled it on Feb 10th! Why you still sent it to me instead of give refund!? Now, I will pay the shipping fee for the return and the refund!! You said your CSR can't track the shippment status, then, what your CSR used for?! Now, may order took 26 days to arrive! Ridiculous! I never met such Ridiculous online reseller! Yeah, I know you were never cheating, but this time, you DOES CHEAT me! DO NOT BUY anything from this website anymore!!

"I like these guys, i have ordered alot from them, especially cases. But they are very slow at getting orders out. It can take up to aweek before stuff is shipped, even though website say 1-2 days.

If your not in a hurry these guys are good, but if you need something quick look elsewhere

"Ordered 26 Jan and no shipping confirmation. After 2 emails and 2 phone calls, received a call from customer service who said he didn't know why I hadn't received my case yet (ordered 26 Jan, CC billed 27 Jan). He said he wasn't able to access the tracking information (for whatever reason) and assured me he would contact me with shipping information. Two days later, no info and no case...I smell SCAM!

I'm just going to order a case from a reliable/reputable company and refuse shipment if they ever get around to sending their case, which from the other posts might possibly not even be what I ordered. Can always reverse charges on CC. Have to say I have ordered tons of stuff off the internet and this is my WORST EXPERIENCE by far....would encourage folks to be VERY wary of doing business with these people.

UPDATE - Just read reply from PCInfinity. I can understand a problem with your vendor not providing you with product to meet your orders, HOWEVER, not communicating with your customers regarding a possible delay (or worse yet, ignoring tracking inquiries/email) is inexcusable. You offer decent products at good prices but you need to kick your CSR's in the butt (teach them how to handle customers professionally) and bring your business ethics up a notch.

UPDATE - Did refuse shipment and contact PCInfinity to let them know and to demand refund of billing to my credit card. That was like a month ago and I'm still waiting on my credit card to be refunded. I've already contested this with my credit card company so hopefully it will be fixed that way because obviously PCInfinity isn't going to do it on their own. By the way, I figured out where the "infinity" is for in their name....it's how long you'll be waiting to get a reply back from their customer service dept once you leave a message!!!

"I placed on order on Jan 7th for a barebone system. I came across this site a few days later and became very concerned based on the reviews. They took almost 2 weeks to mail my order and sent me a full-size case/2 front usb ports instead of the mid-tower/4 front usb ports that I ordered. I had no problems getting someone on the phone when I contacted them concerning my order. Actually, the reps seemed more frustrated and clueless than they are rude. I WAS NOT PREPARED for someone telling me that they cannot give me any information/status on my order. It was as if they were asking me to close my eyes and have faith in them. I HAD NO CHOICE at that point. Anyway, once I received the order I was pleasantly surprised at how well they put the parts together and the fact they included all manuals, cables, bolts, drivers, etc. Also, upon further review they did mention that it took 3-7 "business days/weekdays" to ship an order. Also, I could have ordered the "Ship Tomorrow" option for just a few bucks more. Their price is unbeatable by any standard and therein lies the tradeoff. I easily saved $100+ compared to the competition. They seem like a reputable company that just does not have the resources to invest in detail. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN SINCE I NOW KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT. IF YOU ARE IMPATIENT THEN ORDER WITH THE CHEAP "SHIP TOMORROW" OPTION OR SHOP ELSEWHERE."

"Very good experince with this company. placed an order for a complete system on the 10th of Jan. 2003. System arrived to me on the 13th. Recived the system in great working order, except the system started to give me blue screens after 2 days.

Called Tech support and got right through, talked to a guy named Jay. He tried very hard to fix the problem with me over the phone, and decided it was a bad stick of RAM. He gave me RMA number and i sent it out on the 15th. They recieved the faulty RAM on the 17th and shipped out a replacement the same day they recived the bad one.

Got the new RAM chip, put it in and have not had any problems since.

Would definatly purchase from them again, and plan to here in the next few weeks. Great prices, great tech support, fast turn around times.

"Purchased cheap $10 V.92 modem.
Modem failed, received replacement in around 2 weeks.
Second failed, RMA issued.

No response for over 6 weeks. Finally called and was told that they would issue credit back as it was not worth the trouble.

4 weeks later, received a $5 credit back with no reason why the full $10 wasn't refunded. No response to my followup query (2 weeks ago). With RMA shipping costs, I'm out of pocket $10 with nothing to show.

I have since purchased the same V.92 Lucent chipset modem for $12 from another vendor - it works without any trouble. The goods I was shipped from pcinfinity were simply faulty.

Fortunately, this was not a big ticked item. However, being screwed over on a transaction is not a pleasant experience.

These guys do not stand behing the goods they sell. Please avoid them.

"I was actually shown this website before I ordered but did not heed the warnings. Big mistake. I decided to order a system from Infinity since a co-worker ordered one from them with little trouble. I purchased a barebones kit with an DFI AD77 Pro mb,AMD Athlon XP 1800, 512MB pc2700 ddram and a case. The system arrived assembled with the rear computer port for the AGP card removed and a sticker with a number affixed (which indicated to me that the system was tested before shipment).

I transfered my components over to the system including my hard drive with windows 98se. I noticed that during initial bootup the computer froze at the memory testing Bios page (problem I noticed on another post). I needed to hit the reset button to get the system to boot up correctly. I loaded all the drivers that came with the mb installation cd. The system appeared to work fine as long as I hit the reset button to boot but I noticed that the date kept resetting back to Jan 2002 which was causing conflicts with some of my software. Also the computer would restart automatically after shutting windows xp down.

I called tech support, told them all the problems and was instructed to flash the bios with the Dec 2002 version from the DFI.com website (my computer had the Oct 2002 bios version). I read what the newer bios fixed which were problems that my computer did not have (so I still don't understand why I should flash the bios) but did it anyway since I was relying on tech supports knowledge. I followed all instructions and flashed the bios and poof. No more working computer. After callig tech support for HOURS with nothing but a busy signal I called sales (no busy signal, big suprise) and told them I needed tech support. I got the senior tech support person, told him what I was instructed to do, told him what happened and his response was send the computer back with an explaination of what's wrong but don't say you flashed the bios. (What???) The tech also said that my problem sounds like a defective mb.

OK, so I have to pay to ship the computer back, wait 5 days for repairs, then pay again for return shipping to me. $30 - $40 bucks, forget it. I get on the phone with the completely rude owner and am told that I have to pay to send the computer back and am also accussed of overclocking the processor in practically the same sentence. Unbelievable. I told the owner I am canceling payment on my credit card and that the computer will sit by my front door until they pay UPS to come pick it up.

You have rights as a consumer. This guy is just trying to get me to foot the bill on his mistake. If the mb is bad I have to pay for all those shipping costs. BS.

Also, you'll be pleased to know that if you return an item for a refund, you'll be charged for that so-called free shipping you got when you purchased the item. Wham, pay for shipping to you and shipping for the return.

I put my system components back into my old computer and everything worked fine. I'll upgrade my system through someone else.

It seems to me that all the satisfied consumers on this page are consumers that were lucky enough not to have problems with their system. Luck of the draw.

"Bought a new computer from them. System came with a bad mobo and they sent me a new one before I returned the old one. Tech support was good, sales support was good. cd-rom failed and a new one was shipped immediately. I am very satisfied with their support. Lower end components on the cheap machines, but a good value when everything isup and running. Mahine has been very stable all year."

"I'm beginning to agree with all the dissatisfied people. I too ordered from this company after finding them on Pricewatch.com and being enticed with their "shipping included in price feature". I ordered a Barebones CPU/MB combo with case and hard drive. After adding my floppy, CD and RAM I proceeded to boot the PC only it would never get past the RAM check. (It "hangs" on "checking NVRAM") After 4 calls/left msg to tech support (long dist) and 2 e-mails in a week and a half, no body replied as their voice mail and auto reply e-mails stated the would. Today i called tech support again but at the end of the outgoing answering msg on the answer machine, I got another msg "Cannot record message, mailbox full" These people never answer anyone's calls or e-mails. After a heated phone call with a rude customer service perosn, I requested to get an RMA and he said that I had to speak to tech support first...a non ending cycle....Dont buy from them!!!!"
