" 11/07 - It is 10 days out from the date I ordered my parts online from this company, on two different invoices. Both were paid for by Paypal, and were debited from my account immediately. There were difficulties in coordinating shipping methods, against my given address, which was a post office box. My main complaint up until today was being left in the dark about the status of my order. Once contact was made by telephone, I believe this situation was resolved. I know now how to properly order online with this company to avoid this problem in the future, who to contact when and if future difficulties arise, and what my recourse is if I am not satisfied. The bulk of my order, the first invoice, is confirmed as in transit with UPS. Assuming the order is filled accurately and not DOA, I will be quite happy to see this matter behind me.
11/11 - I am duly impressed with the professional manner in which Infinity Systems handled a damaged system case, damaged in transit using the US post office. They were told of the damage around 4 PM 11/10, the extent of the damage was defined by roughly 4:30, and replacement product was packaged and shipped immediately. This in and of itself has convinced me. IPS will be getting my future business. I would have this suggestion for any potential customers:
1) If you have a post office box, make SURE to include your actual street address on all orders. Believe me, after seeing the damage the post office can wreak on a system case, you'd MUCH rather see your stuff go UPS, and UPS is the default method of shipment with IPS.
2) Be patient. IPS might not ship immediately and might not do the best job in the world of keeping their customers up to date on the status of their order, but they will get it out the door.
3) If you're getting frustrated to the point where you're considering disputing the charges on your order, contact their customer service department. IPS customer service WILL go the extra mile to keep their customers happy. "
"Great company to order from, have been dealing with these people for a while and they haven't let me down yet.
Highly recommend"
"I have beeen buying from Infinity Systems for over a year now and overall I am pleased with the end result.
I found that if I call Dima my sales rep things will happen that day. After ordering from the internet sometimes you don't relly know where or what happens to orders.
I am a high volume dealer and buy alot of systems and misc parts and if something doesn't meet my specs Infinity has took care of the problem as soon as they are aware of it.
All in All I feel that Infinity has gave me the best overall price on products and how can you beat the free shipping on all orders.
Check around the internet like I did and you will see what I mean.
Remember to call the toll free number for fast service.

"After reading the comments here, I ordered most of my new computer's components elsewhere (4 different places) and ALL have arrived. The only non-critical component, a good CPU fan that I ordered from them, is still not shipped. This experience is EXACTLY the same as others. Honestly, the problem is with their system allowing orders to be accepted when clearly they didn't have the item. In the replies to my complaints about selling non-stocked items, they said they stock 99% of the items they sell. Though my experience says otherwise. Their e-bay rating is not bad...may be because they looked at the warehouse and sell the stuff they know they have. They also claimed that ResellerRatings.com would not allow good reviews for them because "they don't pay them for the premium membership". Again, after looking at the last message (a suspicious one indeed), I disagree. So my advice to them: sell what you have now, not in the future. Waiting is a terrible thing in this Internet time. "
"Custom Computers Systems and has been doing business with Infinity Systems Plus, and Dima specifically for well over a year now.
Tracking Information: Has almost never been sent as promissed. After over $10,000.00 spent with the company in 2003, this still remains a problem.
Shipping recently has been very poor. Simple parts shipping (not systems) has taken extreme ammounts of time. UPS delivery is only a single day, and yet deliveries have taken over 10 days often.
Quality has been wanting. PCChips hardware specifically has been faulty above what I consider average. 30% DOA/problem rate has been the norm, and that is extremely high.
Customer Service: Has proven to be fair at best in recent months.
Prices are very reasonable, but recently have been bested by the likes of Newegg.com.
Warranty used to be the best (1 year), but has been reduced to 20 days. This is proving to be a poor choice on thier part, as I am no longer purchsasing from them based on their current practices."
"I have placed several orders through this company. I build custom systems for businesses and individuals and have had a lot of experience ordering online. The bottom line with this company is that they will 9 out of 10 times not get your order to you in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, most of the front end men who answer the phone, first including someone who claimed to be the owner, have poor interpersonal skills. However, there are some kind individuals with well developed interpersonal skills who work their and with some luck you can uncover them and get their names so you can ask to speak with them. (Ask names when you call)
My key point is that they do have some of the best Prices on equipment If you expect the order to ship late you will not be disappointed because it most likely will. I have had great experiences with their return dept. (helpful and friendly) Shipping accuracy is 100% Your order will ship it will be late and you will get a great price!

"I ordered an AMD Athlon barebones system on July 31st and paid their $20 "ship tomorrow" charge. They finally shipped my order on August 6th and I received it on August 8th. After contacting the billing office by e-mail I was informed that I would be refunded the $20 although it might take up to 30 days to process. Now it's October 21st and I'm still waiting for my refund.
These people have very poor customer service and obviously don't deliver on what they promise. With so many places to choose from for purchasing computer hardware, why pick them?
Update: November 12th, 2003. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau at the end of October regarding my $20 refund and got an immediate response from Infinity Systems Plus that my refund would arrive "shortly". Two weeks later and still nothing.
These people have problems that are way beyond just being slow. They lied about the rush shipping and they lied about the refund. If you're looking to buy from them, think again. Go find an honest seller somewhere else. "
"Has been over a week waiting on a Motherboard Combo and Memory. I have not received it as of this time and they will not reply at all about my shipping. If I knew it would take this long then I would have got it from someone else. They should at least let me know. I paid for this thru Paypal and if not received or at least let me know where it is then I will have to file a Paypal complaint and request a refund.
Finally got email 5 days later from Nick and tracking number does not even exist. Paypal complaint will be filed tomorrow. I have been buying computer parts over the internet for 10 years and this is the worst I have ever seen. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
2 weeks and no delivery. I have filed a complaint with Paypal. If no reply then I will have to contact the BBB.
They have been reported to the BBB which already has them on file. This is one SCUMBAG COMPANY!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! STAY AWAY FROM THEM AS FAR AS POSSIBLE!
I finally got it two and a half weeks after payment and now have to send it back. It will not boot. Bad memory or Motherboard. I will never purchase from this company again. I am supposed to get a full refund when they receive it. I will have to wait and see what happens.
It has been sent back and I am now waiting for a full refund. I guess I will never get my $12.00 shipping fee back to send it back. This fee should be included with my full refund since they were 2 weeks late on delivery and it did not work. BBB is waiting for my reply but I can not reply until I get my money back.
Now they tell me I have to pay a 20% restocking fee. Do they restock defective merchandise maybe to send to someone else? I hope not but why else they would restock defective merchandise. All I want is my full refund.
Paypal finally got my refund back. I emailed Nick after I sent it back and they received it and he did not reply.
Here is Paypal's email to me:
Our investigation has determined that the seller is at fault, and as a
result we have attempted to recover your funds.
THANKS TO PAYPAL I GOT MY FULL REFUND BACK.
Please do not by from this company if you do then good luck!"
"As a business customer that's a custom workstation purchasing agent for our company, I must say I have mixed feelings about my order with Infinity.
I went with Infinity Systems because I saw they are from Ohio. We prefer Ohio resellers as they are closer by to where we are located and of course some loyalty already exists as many of us live in Cincinnati.
I purchase online all the time, and I must say this the only time I have ever had any online seller chastise me over the phone for changing my online order an hour after I placed it. To the rep at inifinity with whom I spoke the first time: I now understand your system automatically charges my card as soon as I place the order and therefore costs you 3% everytime you put another order through, but as a customer should I have to be concerned with this? I do not feel that you should be criticizing your customers for your systems limitations or costs.
The second time I called it was to check that my order had in fact been changed. This went fine, but I believe I spoke to a different rep this time.
I called a third time to verify my order was shipped and was told, in a not very pleasant tone, that they couldn't track my order or even see if it was shipped and that I had to fill out an online request form. So I did, but found out by an automated response email that you can't actually request any shipping info until after seven days. As I never received any confirmation my order has been changed, let alone if it has been shipped, this is very disconcerting for a business customer with a reasonable deadline(not rushed).
The fourth time I called was actually after I read so many negative reviews on here about this online reseller. I was legitimately afraid I would have to explain to accounting that we needed to dispute charges. However, I am happy to say that while I have yet to receive my order, I was told by the service rep(this time much friendlier): that it should be shipped by now, UPS's notification system sometimes has complications working with their system, my order was mostly likely delayed because of the changes made to it, and that they would notify shipping to send me a tracking number.
I like that they were very pleasant the last time I spoke with them about correcting my order. However, if I had some constructive criticism here it would be for them to combine their multiple departments together so customers don't have to run around trying to figure out where their order is. Granted, Infinity might have systems in place to handle all this, but it's our time, when we our already giving you our money. Do you think my boss appreciates me spending company paid time to figure out where our order is? Also, I would recommend that you not lecture customers on the limitations and costs of your ordering system. That's clearly your problem, not ours. I read your policy before ordering and I didn't see where modifying an order that is not "special or already packaged" is not allowed.
I once worked in customer service at a retail store back in the day and I don't believe as a business customer I expect too much. I simply would like to be kept informed and be treated with respect in a consistent manner. I await to see if my situation is resolved as was promised. I will post a follow-up to this post upon seeing the end result.
Follow-up 10/21: My order is here. They got the tracking number to me as soon as I gave them the incorrect zip code(whoops). As an online customer anything can make you pretty edgy about where your order may be. If you read their company policy closely before buying, you'll know what to expect as far as timing, changing your order, and fees. I still don't feel this online reseller measures up to the level of customer service I've received in the past from other online reseller's, but I did shake up the order process by changing things around and created confusion with an incorrect phone # and zip code. Case and point here is I got it and I am satisfied. "
"I bought a system from them and paid for a 512mb 2700 DDR memory chip and they gave me a 2100 DDR. When I discovered it they told me to send it back but they replaced it with a 256mb chip not a 512. Again they told me to send it back to the attention of Nick the manager. Now I cannot get Nick to return a call or email and support tells me I have to talk to Nick since it was sent to him. I thought it was a good company but now I am feeling ripped off.
I have had to buy a new memory card because I cannot get any response except an automated email that says they have received my email and will respond asap. In good faith I sent in the memory card at my expense. It is very unfortunate because the system has been super and I was very satisfied prior to the return. If they would only respond I could chalk it up as a mistake. Does anyone have any suggestion on what I should do now? "
"Very unhappy with company - Sent Wrong Product, could not send the correct unit to replace, would no refund for 30 days, as per their return guidelines (even though it was their mistake), and did not even refund after 30 days, and will not respond to e-mails or phone calls."
"picked a pc and 17" monitor from them great system wery nice sales people.Got fast support by theire technician over the phone few days after on installing the software.Better service that I got in circut city few years ago.Highly recomended!!!! Thank you Infinity!"
"Dima my sales rep was very helpful and expedited my order. Infinity Systems is simply the best place to purchase your equipment needs! Lowest prices of all! Thank you Dima for your continuing customer satisfaction!"
"Purchased as system integrator. Purchased 2 complete systems, order went as expected and received all items sooner then posted on web site. I am current and past customer with this reseller and have been for over four years nothing to say but good things. Orders are placed same day and receive all items faster then stated on web site. This is a must with the way I implement systems, I have to have quick shipping and all parts have to be correct when I receive them. When there are defective parts which are rare I am given prompt service for returns infact better then most of the major resellers out there. I have been ordering computers and parts for over 7 years now and have done business with CDW, Blackbox, D&H and In my opion they can't even begin to compare to the service I have recieved from Infinity Systems. These are just some of the reasons that I will continue to purchase from Infinity Systems Plus and why any one reading this should also. "
"I just ordered two computers again today. i have been doing business with them for a number of years and have been 100% satisfied. Any defects have been cared for quickly and the equipment we have ordered has been very satisfactory. The sales staff, especially Dima have been very accomodating. We have been ordering computers over the internet for over ten years and have gone thru many vendors. Infinity has been by far the best company we have dealt with. For price, service, and tech support, they have been the best."
