I had similar experience with the first purchase (about a year ago.) Third was free shipping. There is faster shipping available for a fee, but ordering with a few days to spare takes the shipping cost off your budget. All considered both my purchases from Inverters R Us were excellent."

The inverter that arrived did not work at all for me. Like everyone else, the company is not answering any phone calls for return requests, or emails. A day later we got a very unfriendly mail, saying that we had to pay extra shipping costs for this item. "I ordered an inverter on 4/18. It came a week later, not with with the cables I also ordered with it. I tried calling and all I get is a recording saying their office is not open right now. The inverter is good, but so far, their customer service blows. I will NEVER do business with these clowns again. I wished I had stayed with www.theinverterstore.com I purchased a 2500 watt modified sine wave with jumper cables. Excellent service, excellent product. Nothing like these guys."
"Inverters R US is a company to stay away from. I ordered an inverter costing $434 and paid for 3 days delivery. I got it in six days. I tested the inverter the day after I got it and it did not promised as I expected. From the day after I received the inverter, I have been calling every day many times a day to try to return the product. Twice I spoke to someone and I was told that they will e-mail me the RMA number so that I could send back the inverter. I have not received the RMA number after a yet and no one will answer the phone. On Inverters R US web site, their return policy is 30 days. I don't think that I will ever be able to send this bad inverter back or get my money back. My advice is DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM Inverters R US."
"Ordered and paid on March 22, 2010. They were to hold the order till I informed them of the wattage of the laptop I wanted the inverter for, which I did the next day. Now it's over one month, many e-mails and voice mails (when I could get through by phone at all) later, and still NO RESPONSE, NO PRODUCT, NO TRACKING NUMBER, NOTHING. They were, however, quite prompt to take the money out of my bank. Too bad, I guess their products are good, but this is not acceptable behavior. Won't shop there again. "Wish I had checked this company out first. I ordered from their website and paid right away using Paypal. Since then I got a computer generated confirmation with a link to check status. No order status. No tracking number. Today was the last day to deliver and it did NOT come. IMO, this company is a fraud and should be prosecuted. They have never responded to email and never answer their phone. Messages go unanswered. Tomorrow I will go to Paypal to reverse the transaction. Waste of my time.

Lousy customer service. Item had shipped BUT they never responded to my inquiries and never provided tracking. They did respond when I said I was going to get a chargeback from Paypal. Apparently, they are just a middleman--better to find a direct seller with inventory and customer service. "
"I ordered an AIMS 2500/5000 watt inverter from them, shipping was slow but did show up between 1-2 weeks, tried checking tracking on thier link in the email they sent but never showed one until after we recieved the unit after opening the box I discovered that the Inverter was not new it was either a return or used as the mounting hole were all scrathed and cut with some bends in them from were the inverter had been previously mounted to something, but I tried it out any how figurring that it was probabally a return and they probabally tested it before shipping, but the unit would not even power one SMALL light it was fried, and it burned the two things I plugged into it out. after emailing them imediately (same day I recieved it) for a RMA number to return I have never gotten a response and have called their number several times but they dont answer and the voice mail is full, and this is the same number you are suppossed to get "Full Support" from to "Assist you in every step of the instalation procces" or so they claim.

"They were slow to ship. I don't think they ever responded to the 2 emails I sent asking for tracking info. The 2 items I ordered did arrive eventually and were fine.
I contacted them, again twice, for an RMA to return one of the products and they never responded. I can't ever get them on the phone either."
