What also impressed me about JES was they had choices on the quality level of some items. For example, I bought several types of stainless steel mixing bowls. There was the "budget special" choice, but then sometimes there was a "higher value" choice. Obviously the higher value bowl was made with heaver gauge stainless steel and cost substantially more. I bought one of the heavier bowls just to compare it with the cheap ones I thought I wanted. Sure enough, it was much heavier and obviously more resistant to damage from rough treatment. It also cost more, which is the point. They offered me the choice.

Their prices and shipping charges were both reasonable. The lightweight SS bowls had a mirror inside finish and were a great value. If I need more kitchen supplies I'll be going back to JES.
