"Ah my dress! My 60's vintage dress -- how do I worship thee!

I had my dress customed-made and I was worried considering some other reviews I had read about Jenjen house elsewhere. Then arrived my dress and other items.

The dress was in a special pocket of plastic with a zipper, like a big ziplock bag, preserving it from air, pollution, smells and external damage. It was folded inside out to protect the fabric.

The dress fits me like a glove. I understand why some people can complain: these people never had a handmade dress done in 10 days!! Do they have any idea how much time a professional seamstress take to realise such a dress? Months. And the cost will be triple or more. These people are used to mass produced dresses in stores. So yes, when you get a dress handmade, you get a few threads here and there, you cut them a tad shorter, and there you go.

This dress was made to my measurements, my colors and the communication with the representatives with Jenjen house was smooth and fluid. They followed every step of the way.
I also ordered a comb, the most adorable flats ever and a set of earrings plus necklace, everything was safely packed and matching description. The flats are even better than their pictures, they are so comfy (tempted to turn them into slippers when I wear them out ;).


I am extremely pleased and will encourage people to buy their dresses at Jenjen House, because these little magic hands have given me one of the most gorgeous dress I have ever seen.

PS/For plus-size women, I advise you to ask for no-pads in the dress, some dresses have padding around the breasts area."

"Yuck disgusting poor excuse for a dress. Sorry cant say strongly enough not to risk your wedding day ordering from here. Was sent a dress that didn't look like the original photos which they then changed after I ordered the dress. I ordered it custom. But measurements are wrong seems to have been sewn for a pregnant person. Hems are crooked, detailing poorly attached, lose threads everywhere. I requested to return and they offered me $25 and hoped I could still wear it. What a Joke. Then they stopped replying to emails. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM SITE DONT RISK IT!!!!!!!!!!!

"With a wedding coming up in April and living on an island with only a couple of very expensive bridal shops - I needed an alternative.
