"I tried to order an item through them and when I went to the checkout page it said that the item was not in stock. The company believes that by showing you cheap prices they can get you to come to their website.
Never buying from them again if they think I wasted 30 mins in adding 11 items to cart and then coming to checkout and finding out that only 1 of them is in stock. I hope they go away as soon as possible."

contacted support (they were quick to send out a return shipping label) but they said they couldn't re-order my missing item... i had to do that! except... the item is now mysteriously unavailable! wtf again?!?"
"I won't be ordering from Jet again. What a hassle and joke! I ordered a rangefinder for a heck of a good price. I got it within a week, but it wasn't from Jet, but from some other vendor. The plastic packaging had been opened and it was missing the lithium battery. I requested a return label. Jet sent me a FedEx label via my email address. I printed the mailing label and returned the rangefinder to the vendor. I kept checking over the next several weeks to see if my credit card had been credited with the amount and it had not. I went to Jet's site and all they showed was that I had a requested a return. No shipping label or tracking number. Huh? Amazon and other sites do this. Finally, I called Jet Customer Service and the guy I got was very helpful. However, he could NOT access the label with the tracking # either. He asked me if I had my original email. I told him no that I had deleted it. I told him it was not my responsibility to keep track of the return, but theirs and cited the other companies as examples. He had to get acknowledgement from the vendor that they had received it, then they finally processed my refund. The whole process took well over a month. What a joke! If I had not been watching for the refund, I would have never got it, then the BS about no access to the shipping label or tracking # for either the customer or the service rep is ridiculous and poor web design and planning. I'm done with them!"
"They are a marketplace, not a merchant. Check back in two years, by then they'll either be gone, or they'll have worked out the issues. As it is, they're zero for 2 for me. One never shipped, the other they just shipped a cheaper version. Their customer service is nice, but useless."

Was promised the issue would be rectified. Waited for an email for 5 hours, called again: 'your order cannot be restored'.
They just don't care.
Hard to recommend.
PS After a while they did charge my card and did ship my order. Go figure... I am changing 1 star to 4 stars because after all the price was really nice and I did get the product.

"Lousy process. First, they offer ridiculous prices to lure you. Then, they call to verify an order (not on Amazon!), and suggest that they might contact you again (!) - to make you suspicious. Then they contact you to say that the popular item isn't in stock. If it wasn't in stock, why list it as in stock in the first place?"
"I'm surprised at all the poor reviews. This just goes to show that most people are quick to complain when something goes wrong, but don't bother to write a review when everything goes right.
The first time I discovered Jet I found a good price on a game camera. It was only $3 cheaper than an Amazon seller, though, and I decided not to take the risk on a new company. Since then, I've found multiple products where Jet had the lowest price. I ordered a Diablo blade for my table saw and a shooting rest. Both were the lowest price I could find and I searched page after page of Google. Both of my orders shipped within an acceptable amount of time. They definitely met my expectations and changed me from a skeptic into a believer."
"I was excited when Gilt.com was selling Jet.com 50% vouchers for Jet.com. Jet.com seemed like an excellent competitor to amazon and some of the prices were lowers than amazon. Our family, being big-time online shoppers, we each purchased a voucher to use on some items we wanted to try. We made our purchase perfectly fine and my order shipped the very next day. Perfect. The rest of my family, waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, and after about two weeks, they decided to contact jet.com.
Jet.com took like 3 days to get back to us. Once they did, Jet.com informed them that their accounts had been closed, orders cancelled, and vouchers voided. What? We asked the reason and they said one account per household. We asked for our vouchers back to give to different family members living in different homes so they didn't go to waste and they refused. Looking through our bank accounts, we noticed jet.com was STILL charging us for the items they had "cancelled". Not only did they steal the voucher from us but they also charged us for items that never shipped. Now the item they did ship, when it arrived, they sent me the wrong item, and to my surprise, they also closed my account. So there is no way I can return this item. I will be contacted my Credit Card provider. Jet.com is a SCAM and advise everyone to stay away unless they'd like have a bad time with them. The "savings" do not outweigh the cons. I am sticking to amazon.com. BEWARE!"
