I will be contacting the company regarding this - maybe it is a defect on this particular piece? "Trust me, you'll thank me later. This is NOT the daybed you are looking for. I was really excited to owning my first Joybird and get the piece - it looked beautiful online. It was delivered on May 5th 2024, so I've lived with it for about a few weeks -- and it is the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE furniture I've ever purchased in my life. I was under the impression it would be so plush and comfy (even after visiting it in the showroom) -- and it's not. The actual cushion is extremely thin (I mean extremely thin) and the base feels like stacked cardboard boxes was placed under a cheap mattress. I'll definitely have to find an alternative for guests to sleep because this will NOT work. I'm stunned at how uncomfortable it is."

"I came in to just ask questions, I was nearly set on what I wanted from the website. When I came in, I was greeted and they were able to answer my questions. I got to try out the design I liked from online and noticed one other. After telling the rep the type of fabric I needed they were able to guide me through what the extended warranty was (pet fabric coverage) and really helped me with making sure I was comfortable with my purchase.
Great service, now if only the parking structure actually let me get in to my car (I had to hike up the ramps). "

"Pricing isn't super transparent. I was stalking the website waiting for a sale and finally caught one. I was pretty happy with the price and then received an email that I needed to select my material...thought I did that already...and of course the price shot up! Plus there is shipping. I am really hoping this sofa is of high quality and worth the $$$. Delivery is over a month out."
