"I ordered a JVC Everio camera on March 7th 2008 early in the morning (12:30am) from their website. I paid extra for expedited shipping to ensure that I received the item before our vacation. the order does not appear to be fulfilled or shipped as of March 8th. there online form says that it was "sent to warehouse." can someone wake the guy up in the warehouse and have him put my everio in a box and ship it please? (I will update with status later)

March 10th - Called their number and they said they shipped it on the 7th but "forgot" to add the tracking number. Conveniently, the guy who shipped it was out for lunch so they did not have the tracking number. they are closed now 6pm and I still don't have a tracking number.
March 11th - They refunded my extra shipping and assured me that I would receive the camera within 2 days
March 13th - I received the camera hours before I left on my trip. I am grateful to the supervisor that listened to my concerns. I wish I didn't have to speak to supervisors to be heard though.

"I had never heard of Keenzo, so I was a little hesitant about ordering - However I'm glad I did and will definitely do business with Keenzo Electronics again.
They had the best price and availibility for the item I wanted, plus it arrived in 4 days.

"Update: Feb 1-2008
I was contacted by Laura at Keenzo today and she was very prompt, courteous and professionl in the resolving of my issues. Based on her service, I will order from Keenzo again.

I have had a VERY dissapointing experience with KEENZO. They have been totally unresponsive to my e-mails (3 of them) to resolve an issue. I have filed a complaint with the NY Better Business Bureau to try to get this resolved

"I ordered a Rhinoskin Clamshell Hardcase three days ago. I was somewhat concerned about the purchase because between the three days, I never received another email. I'm not sure if the company used another address and gmail didn't like it? Anyway, it's here, and I LOVE IT. Brand new, not scratches dings and whatnot. It's definitely NOT worth the 60$ + s&h Saunders would make you pay, so I feel like I've been given a great deal. I will purchase from them again in the near future."

"Before ordering - I called to confirm that the product was in stock. The lady checked 2 times - and it was confirmed that it was in stock. I also was promised a confirmation email of my purchase. I purchased online - To this day - 1-13-08 - I never recieved any email confirmation .. American Online Email. I did recieve a paypal email - that my account was charged, etc.

Also now that I look at my account - it says sent to the wearhouse - shipping pending.. So there was no shipping within 24 hours and no confirmation email. I also made a couple of phone calls - left messages - no one has yet to reply. Should I contact my credit card company and do a chargeback? I am dissapointed of the lapse of service to this point.. And by the way this is a TV program / Media company that is purchasing from you. I could have easily purchased somewhere else. And to this point I should have. Now we are in a waiting and wondering situation. If the item is now out of stock.. Then I was allegedly lied to. Not good.

Update 1-14-08 - Got through to Keenzo - Customer service said my item is not out of stock - and I will recieve a Email with tracking within 24 hours - said they didn't know why my item was not released...

We will see what happens - and I will update this
post accordingly

Update - recieved a personal call from Keenzo Customer Support later in the day - 1-14-07 - They officially apologized.. My item is really not in stock - and they said they were so sorry for any problems I had.

Apologies go along way - and that means alot to me. Even if they made mistakes, I might give them a try in the future..

"I was scared to place an order after reading a lot of the reviews of this company. The price was too good to pass up though and I was willing to wait if processing and shipping took a long time.

I was glad I gave them a shot. I was sent confirmation emails and able to check the status of my order on their webpage. I placed an order at 3:30pm and by 10am the next day I had my FedEx tracking numbers. Great prices and fast shipping with FedEx instead of crappy UPS. What more could you ask for??

UPDATE: Received items as described as I knew I would since I had the tracking numbers. No problems at all. I will shop at Keenzo again.

"I placed my order for a 17" monitor/TV on 26 Dec 07. The website said it normally shipped within 24 hours.Keenzo accepted my Paypal payment on 27 Dec. I did not receive any communication acknowledging my order other than the Paypal notice. Several days letter I checked their website and it appeared there was no activity on my order as it still said 'payment accepted'. I posted a message on their website communications form asking if there was a problem. I got no reply. Several days after I placed my order, the status changed to 'sent to warehouse'. I posted another message to their website and got no response. Finally on 4 Jan 08 when the status still said 'sent to warehouse' and I had received no communication from Keenzo I called them. The lady who answered was pleasant. She said there systems were down, but that they would either email me or call me later that day to let me know what was going on. I received no call or email. Before I get the same answer as previous critics, I whitelisted keenzo.com the day after I placed my order. They did not attempt to email me. On 7 Jan 08 their website showed the status as 'cancelled by manufacturer'. I checked to see if they had refunded my payment. They had not. I called again and the lady who answered said I would receive a refund within 20 minutes. Within 6-7 hours, I had a refund. My problems 1) They listed an item as in stock that was not available, 2) They charged me before they even checked to see if they could fulfill my order, 3) They did not acknowledge my order or respond to two messages, 4) They said they would email or call me and didn't, and 5) They cancelled my order and still did not contact me and did not refund my money until I called them. Bottom line, I would not attempt to do business with Keenzo again. It is only a good deal if you get what you order in a timely fashion. This is the worst online purchasing experience I have had in years and I make several hundred online purchases a year. Keenzo did not attempt to contact me, ever. I whitelisted their address and I check my blocked mail several times a day. The number on my order has voicemail. If they say otherwise, you should also question their honesty.

Follow-up. The motto seems to be "Keenzo where the customer is always inept or unreasonable." I have no problem with their response other than to note that their online communications systems had no replies of any kind when I called them to request a refund. More than a week after my initial message was posted to their system. Excite even as a free service has a 'safe list' to which @keenzo.com was added. If so many ISP's are blocking Keenzo's email, they might want to reconsider their emailing practices or get a new ISP. Out of 100's of online purchases a year, their's is the only email not getting through. Bottom line is that if they had dedicated the level of attention to my order that they devoted to their many explanatory responses, they would have more satisfied customers. I understand that items go out of stock, I don't understand that it took a phone call from me to figure out the item was out of stock and another phone call from me to get a refund. Those are the facts.

"Absolutely the worst online shopping experience I've ever had, and I purchase a lot online. I called Keenzo prior to ordering to make sure the Sonar Home Studio 6 XL was the full retail version and NOT the Academic edition. Keenzo assured me that it was full retail and THEN shipped me the Academic version anyway. Too late to return before Christmas, Keenzo told me it would exchange for the retail version. I waited over a week and Keenzo had still not processed the RMA. Then Keenzo tells me they don't carry the retail version, which they should have told me in the first place and saved me the hassle. As of today 01/02/08 I am still waiting for a REFUND. Keenzo was unapologetic and came off as rude & condescending on the phone. BEWARE!"

Update 2: I did an RMA through Belkin and they only covered the cost of shipping one way, and Keenzo held true to their word and refunded the cost of shipping which I paid at a local UPS shop which was almost $30! Kudos to Keenzo.

Keenzo sent me two positive messages. They also took the time to prove to me that they pay other customers RMA shipping costs. This in my book is deffinately above and beyond and deserves to be noted.

"Let us know what the shipping costs to Belkin were, if any, and we will at least credit your Keenzo.com online account for that amount so you don't have to go out of pocket."

This changes my view on them enough to recommend them to other people in the future.

I ordered a PureAV Home Theatre Battery Backup unit With Automatic Voltage Regulation from them.

The order process was fulfilled properly and I recieved it quickly. However, the unit has aged for two years from date of manufacture, so the batteries in the unit are shot, these are two 7AH sealed lead acid batteries with a value of $50 or 1/3 of the price of the unit.

In all fairness there was little to no way of them knowing this. It did take a day for them to get back to me with a response however, which is acceptable but not good. Likewise their return policies are acceptable but nothing outstanding. They did not offer to pay for the return shipping so I can assume I the customer would have been liable for the shipping cost. Again, acceptable, but not preferable.

In the end Keenzo Electronics is another resonable reseller who will not try to screw you like many, but will not be going out of their way beyond their bare responsabilities.

"I got a call from Keenzo today (12/04/2007), informing me of their problem and will ship overnight the rest of the cables to me and refund $20.
I feel much better after this call and therefor editing this post to reflect that Keenzo do try its best to fulfill its customers. As such, I remove some "harsh" word from the original post below.
Despite whatever situation I have encounter, I do agree Keenzo has really good/low prices. Hopefully my next order will be taken care without having me to follow-up.

"FOLLOW-UP: This is a follow-up to the earlier review. I received an e-mail stating a technical problem thus the last of correspondence. Keenzo does seem to care about its reputation and satisfying their customers. From the time I received the e-mail till the exchange process was entirely completed, they have provided great service, communication and follow-up. Based on that I would say they are quite capable of being a business in which you can do business with and I would consider purchasing from them in the future.


PRIOR POSTING:
They sent me a defective product and still 30 days later have had no response for just an exchange. I cannot even get a response to an e-mail or phone call. Their customer service is AWEFUL, basically nonexistent!!! The policy for exchanges and refunds is horrible!
