"I placed a preorder through this company. After at least a month of waiting for the item to be in stock, I found it cheaper and in stock from another company. Kirin Hobby has 2 forms of contact: email and a phone number that is only available from 2-6pm, M-F. I tried email first as it's extremely difficult to make a call during those hours when you have a job (and I'm positive this is on purpose). I emailed and requested to cancel my order, as there is no way to do this directly on their website. One month later... the item shows up at my door!! The following day I set time aside to contact them during their hours, and not only did no one ever answer the phone, my call was never returned! Read the other reviews below, and it's easy to see that this company has the absolute worst customer service, and it is designed to make it impossible to ever get your money back. "

"I ordered a doll for my daughter. The Web sight took all my info and took payment the same day. I waited 11 days and then called. They informed me that it was back ordered and they would ship it if it got back in Stock. IF! so they were just holding my money on the hopes that they could eventually find one? The guy I spoke to was impatient and rude and told me two different explanations in one phone call! They have since updated the sight so you can't order the product I tried to order. I'm glad that they at least updated it so this won't happen to anyone else.... at least with this product. Never ordering from them again!"
"Why this company is in business and hasn't been shut down, beats me. I paid in full for an online order, never got it. Can't reach anyone and I get some generic email saying it takes them "several days" to respond b/c they get so many emails (aka : complaints). Don't buy from here. You won't ever get your order."
"Purchased a figure in late January. The figure was supposed to be released on like the 8th of February. I gave them some credit, thinking it may have been shipping to them from Japan. It is now March 15th and I still do not have my purchase. I sent two emails, both got me automated responsea about them have a large number of emails and to call in a four hour window which uses times 3 hours later than my timezone. I am going to call today and demand a refund."
"I got a great deal making my pre-order from Kirin Hobby. It took a few months to receive it as this was due to the manufactures. I received all the items and the boxes the figures are in is mint condition. Thanks you for the great deal, as they had the best price on the web. I had checked ebay, amazon, barns and noble, toys r us and others not known to me. I had never bought from Kirin Hobby and I am glad I took the chance on the pre-order deal. I would recommend this site to purchase figures. "

"When searching 6167 Jarvis Ave Newark, CA on google map street view it is a UPS Store. I wish I could post screenshots on here but you could look it up for yourself. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I ordered something in december and never recieved it. I emailed them several times- no response. They won't answer. It's not surprising seeing so many people having the exact same issues with them. Their site and social media may seem legit but I promise you it is all a scam. Don't fall for it. Just look at their facebook, a lot of people in the comments are complaining about not receiving items and not being able to get a hold of these people. I HIGHLY doubt most of these positive reviews are real. They're probably written by people working for them and/or friends and families of these scammers. Definitely going to report this company. Maybe I'll try to see if one of my friends in California can report them to the state because this is terrible. Reseller Ratings - is their anything you guys can do?Because I guarantee that most, if not all of these positive reviews are fake to boost up their ratings so they seem trustworthy when unknowing customers look them up. Their provided address is a UPS STORE for god sakes. Something has to be done!"
"Do not shop at this place! Online or in person! They've made me look stupid by purchasing Christmas gifts from them for my children. They promised them by Christmas but now its march and these **** won't even return my calls or emails.
