"I wanted to rent a book through knetbooks. When I placed the order, the website told me there were three more in copies in stock and that it would ship within 24 hours. I received an email three days later saying the shipment was delayed. I called customer service to change the shipping location the woman on the phone off-handedly told me if they couldn't find a supplier for the textbook my order would be cancelled. I am appalled that I wouldn't receive an email warning me of this development. If I hadn't called customer service I would have no idea that my book might have been cancelled.
A day later, I received an email that the textbook had been cancelled.
There was a lack of communication from the supplier to the buyer and I am dissatisfied that it appeared that there were books in stock and then suddenly the company didn't have any textbooks available."
