"There was an item on my order that was out of stock... and the replacements/alternatives I tried to order were also out of stock. This process was potentially slowing the delivery date of the rest (the bulk) of my order. And to my first-world arrogance, slightly frustrating.
Amadou assisted me with sorting all out. I did not end up getting a replacement item and decided to simply wait until the one I wanted was in stock. And the funds for the missing item was refunded asap. But what really made the entire situation memorable was Amadou's professionalism, swift attentivenness to my problem, and particularly his overall kindness! [Something which is sadly lacking in most customer service (and human) interactions... globally.] He brought patience and a 'humanness' with his words into our email exchanges. And while I know that it is his job to do that, it makes a difference to me, to all of us. I've ordered from LightInTheBox for years and have always appreciated the professionalism, products available, and swift delivery.
