"Hello ladies and gentlemen,
I ordered 2 pairs of booties - both the same size. This was my first ever order from LightinBox. When the shipment arrived, I slipped them on: one pair did fit very well - almost perfectly - though possibly a bit too tight in the width. The other pair (same size) was huge - too big in all directions.
By the way the shipment did arrive early. Thumbs up.
I emailed LightinBox about my predicament. I got immediate response. They gave me three options. I chose to follow the option of returning the booties, packed them neatly in the original package, went to Canada Post and was shocked: the cheapest "Surface tracked mail" (return mail to China) for this little package weighing 654 grams cost $75.94. OMG - the booties themselves had been on sale for $46.99. I had been informed I would be reimbursed in about 4 to 6 weeks. I did not want to lay-out this money not knowing the company and risking not getting that outrageous mailing charge back.
I informed LightinBox that I have changed my mind and now opt for the 30% refund (and gift / donate the booties).
I put in the refund request. Again instantly I received a first reply. Right after I had put in the refund request I got the update letting me know that the partial refund will be back in my account within days. I was provided with a tracking link. As it stands now the funds shall be in my account this coming Monday.
My agent was Soumaya. I am totally impressed how Soumaya dealt with my return. She was prompt, courteous and friendly.
Because of Soumaya I will order from LightinBox again.
