I was charged for anti-hijacking software last year, now he told me "oh no, that was only anti-malware software, this is different". If I could've disputed the credt card charges, I would have. Total hooked nose scammers!"

Then denied it was them that called even when I returned the call and was greeted by "live technicians". Lead me to believe that their company was part of Google. I believe I wasted $289 for their services and am highly concerned I ever gave them access to my computer."
"My overall impression was a nagging feeling that I was being duped. I was on the phone for 3 hours for a fairly simple issue. Not really a big deal - However weeks later and repeatedly after that I began to receive urgent phone calls that someone was hacking into my e-mail and using my address to extort people. For a "fee" they offered to intervene with Google's database and clear up the issue so that I wouldn't need to worry about being prosecuted. Really!!"
