"I PURCHASED A VANTAGE LHD200 ECO HD SERIES W/ 6 CAMERAS, HAD PROBLEMS W/ TWO CAMERAS IMMEDIATELY, THIS CAMERAS WERE REPLACED BY LOREX AND AFTER A MONTH THE MAIN UNIT STARTED TO MAKE NOISE , IT KEEPS GETTING LOUDER AND LOUDER AS THE TIME GOES BY, THIS UNIT WAS SET UP IN THE BEDROOM , AND IS GETTING TO THE POINT THAT IT HAS TO BE SHUT OFF AT NIGHT , THE NEXT MORNING YOU HAVE TO RESET EVERYTHING AGAIN IF YOU WANT TO RECORD ANYTHING , ALSO I CAN ONLY GET THE RECORDING OF ABOUT FIVE DAYS , ANYTHING OLDER THE SYSTEM WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION, I DO A LOT OF TRAVELING AND DEPENT ON THIS CAMERAS , IS GREAT TO BE ABLE TO SEE LIVE ACTION THRU ECO CLOUD SYSTEM , BUT CANNOT GET THE SYSTEM TO SEND AN EMAIL IN CASE OF AN INCIDENT , I HAVE TO CHECK THE CAMERAS AT RANDON AT DIFFENT TIMES , THE INSTRUCTION PROVIDED DONT HELP MUCH AND IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANY HELP , FINALLY I JUST GAVE UP, PRESENTLY I NEED TO ADD TWO MORE CAMERAS FOR SOME REASON LOREX WILL NOT LET GET ACCES TO BUY MCHD2051 CAMERAS AND I DONT KNOW WHAT OTHER CAMERAS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THIS SYSTEM. GREAT IDEA, TERRIBLE SYSTEM, IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION IT WILL BE APPRECIATED ,THANK YOU AL. TUMAS"

"Instead of a brand new system, which I assumed I was buying, Lorex sent me a refurbished system, which it sold on it's website as new. The camera quality has a lot to be desired, the night vision is fuzzy and not very clear, and the system often stops working remotely, until you get home to reboot it. I'd try and find a more reputable supplier of home security cameras the next time I'm looking for a video security system. "

"I bought a Lorex Technology security system for my tavern and it works great. I had to contact them on how to hook it up to the internet and they were very professional about it and had me hooked up in no time. I would recommend a Lorex system to anyone. They work great."

"Took so long waiting on hold before getting to a support technician. I waited about 22 minutes. I was having trouble with one of my wireless cameras. I was able to narrow down the issue to the wire connected directly to the camera. I have to jiggle the wire to get an electric contact with the power adapter. I described this to the technician and the feeling I got, is that he didn't know about the product at all. He placed me on hold several times. I guess to consult with someone else. Eventually, I was given a ticket number. He then tells me I have now to call Customer Service to be able to proceed for a product return. It would have been simpler if he would have transferred me. Getting through to Lorex is a nightmare! This camera is 4months old and already has issues. I experienced the same with the monitor that became defective the day after I received it. The SD card reader went bust. The worst part is the customers have to pay to return Lorex's defective products. I am now questionning the quality of their products. The basic concept of their products is ideal, but they could improve on the quality and customer service and support. With these issues I have experienced, I haven't been able to use fully my Lorex security camera wireless system. Either one part is on its way back to the Returns Depot or another part goes defective again and has to be shipped out. It's lie a revolving door. I love the possibility this system can offer, but would never purchase a Lorex product again."

"The quality of my product is wonderful. My house is made out of concrete and it's big, and I can use my monitor all over the house without losing signal. It is perfectly clear during the night, and colorful during the day. I highly recommend this brand and this product!!! "
