"I am terribly disappointed with my experience with malibal. I went with this company after reading so many glowing reviews. So I might just be the statistical outlier.
I ordered my laptop on 08/09/2011, after asking when it would ship since the graphics card I wanted was very new. I was told by the sales rep on the phone that it would ship in 5-7 days as stated on the website. 7 days later I called malibal since I have not received any notifications, and they told me since my graphics card is new, there's an extra week to wait. Me, "But your sales rep said..."
So 7 days after THAT, I emailed them again since I still haven't heard anything and they told that my laptop would ship within the week.
It's now the 9pm 8/29/2011, and still nothing about my laptop.
Besides gaming, I actually have school and work that requires a machine and the inconvenience they have caused me by waiting and waiting when I was told otherwise makes me fairly upset.

“Please note: this is the first and only one star rating we have ever received in 7 years. We also have ZERO complaints with the BBB in 7 years and an A rating.
There was a total of a two week delay on this customer's order. One week was due to the Brand New AMD 6990M Release which was delayed by 7 days in customs from the 15th to the 22nd. Once we received the 6990M cards, we began testing them in each notebook and noticed that the temps were higher than we would have liked in two models, so we made a decision to wait on a new heatsink revision, which added another week to the order.
These are the only two reasons why this customer's order was delayed by 14 days. So unless they would have preferred that we rushed out their order without proper testing and/or quality control, this delay was completely unavoidable, which is something that occurs quite often in the computer industry.
If you do a quick search around you will see that there are some companies who have an average turn around time of 3-4 weeks on all customized computers, so even with this small 2 week delay, this customer would have still only been waiting 3 weeks, since our average turn around time of 5 business days is very quick compared to the industry average.
With that said, we would also like to add that we responded to all of their inquiries and order status requests very quickly (25 minutes to 2 hours max response time) and offered them $250 in FREE Upgrades in order to compensate them for the unexpected delays.
This meant losing all of the profit on the order, but taking care of customers has always been our #1 concern - so we do not have a problem with losing money on an order if that's what the situation calls for, even if the circumstances are brought about by events beyond our control i.e. customs delay.

"Let me start by saying that Malibal it's just AWESOME, AMAZING. Their customer service it's just great, and their products? TOO (at least the P151HM1). I had an Alienware but it broke like a year after I bought it. I fixed it and it broke again a year later, so I started looking for a new laptop again, and a friend of mine recommended me Malibal.
At first, I needed some proofs of this being a good and trustable company, but the prices were just...too much to handle. $1,2XX or $1,3XX for a quad-core, 8gb ram, GTX560m video card, 1080p and more? That was too much...I had to buy it, and i did.
So the shipping took less than a week (noting that my address was in FL and Malibal is in CA). And I received the laptop with no troubles, nothing missing, and a free bag...which is great.
About the laptop:
Screen: 5/5 or 10/10...whatever you want, it's 100% pure awesomeness. Loved it, no dead pixel, no glossy stuff...just fine, bright, GREAT 95% gamut screen. UNIQUE.
Keyboard: 4.5/5 - The keyboard it's great, gotta get used to some keys being placed in a different place than they used to be but, what bothers me its a corner on the top left that looks like it is a little bumped up...but nothing biggy.
Touchpad: 5/5 - Love it. I don't know why don't people like it, I like how smooth it is, and responsive.
Battery: No rating - I knew i was gonna buy a 2-3 hours battery...so, I wont use it that much...
Ventilation: 5/5 - REALLY good ventilation system, couldn't ask for more.
Speakers: 4/5 - Above average, and with the THX software, gets better. Won't really use it that much, cuz i use headphones.
Looks, fingerprint reader, design, gaming performance, price, weight, etc: They are all RIGHT, what a customer likes, wants and expects. "
"The laptop I ordered is excellent and exactly as specified. There wasn't any bloatware on the laptop, which was fantastic, it saved me from having to immediately do a clean install when I got the laptop. Shipping times were as specified. I didn't interact with customer service or anyone at the company so I cannot comment on that aspect of Malibal. Extremely happy with the product I received. I will be buying my next laptop or pc from Malibal."
"This computer is absolutely the best, I get an SSD, and the performance is astonishing, 540MB/s read and write, works perfect with linux, and I can play all the games with the 580M, and also play with 3D nVidia Vision Ready, Crysis 2, look absolutely brilliant with max specs en a 3D projector with the glasses and everything. The 7.1 analog sound is very good, almost like an X-Fi. The extra HD case to have 3 HD on the computer is very helpful. The shine screen looks amazing, I would prefer a matte screen, but well I also wanted a 1200p screen, like in my previews laptop, but well. You can not going wrong purchasing this. Thanks"
