this was the worst experience i have ever had in my life. and i am not exaggerating.
orderd for a xmas present, still have not received the item. tried to cancel the order, they lied to me saying its on its way, should be there in 5 business
days. 2 weeks later, not here yet. soon i get an email saying if my order is not filled by feb 1, i have the option to cancel the order. by this time we have moved and now they are about to miss my wifes birthday to whom i got this gift for originally as a xmas present.
finally the order is on its way. i get charged double on they pay pal account, i complain, they reverse the charges. then go and charge me twice for the same item again.
the cherry on top is they told me they could not cancel the order, because its too late. lame ass excuse. so they ask for my new address. i give it to them and now they ship off my item, but to the wrong address.
seriously?
in all this they never offered me a discount, or a sincerer apology.
never ever buy anything from shop mlb. its clear that they dont really care about the fans who make the MLB a success."
"This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. I ordered a baseball jersey for my grandson and they told me that even though it was back ordered, they had a couple on hand and would ship it out. It never arrived so I called again and got the same story. This happened 3 times. I was then promised that when the jersey came in, they would use expedited shipping, they did not.
I was then told that they would issue a $25.00 credit towards another purchase and that has not happened.
So an order that I placed on 11/29/14 will now arrive on 12/23 (hopefully)
On a more positive note, their customer support representatives are very apologetic for all of these problems. They must get a lot of practice."
"MLB screwed up a customized shirt order and they are refusing to fix it or even refund it. The shirt came with only the name and number on the back but not the logo I selected- who would ever want to order a shirt like that? I KNOW I selected the logo when I checked out. I actually thought it was weird when I got the invoice and the price was cheaper than it was when I was doing the custom selection. Clearly something with their checkout system messed up because I know the order was right when I placed it.
Now I'm being called a liar and MLB is not going to fix this for me. For starters, they can't give me a new shirt because they are actually out of PLAIN T-SHIRTS in all sizes but a women's XL! WTF sort of company runs out of t-shirts at CHRISTMAS?! Especially MLB! What do they not want customers to order from them?
So the first employee I talked to said she would refund the shirt, but I said why can't I just send the shirt I have back now and let the warehouse put the screen printing on the front. She said the warehouse wouldn't do that- which I didn't get because it was their screw up! She said no matter what, the warehouse wouldn't accept any returns on it. Even if it was a mistake!
I asked to be transferred to a supervisor, who immediately jumps down my throat and accuses me of lying. She never even answered my question about sending the shirt back, she refused to do anything to fix the order because she claimed I didn't order correctly. I'm not sure why the first employee admitted the order was wrong and the supervisor said it was my fault, but I thought that was extremely unprofessional. I know I ordered it correctly, and the employee believed me too! I'm not sure why their system is so messed up, but that is not my fault!
Why would anyone order a blank t-shirt with a number on the back?!
After fighting with the supervisor over the refund I'm on a wait list to speak to a senior supervisor.
How much is this whole debacle over?

MLB store is not willing to refund me ELEVEN dollars! I refuse to believe that a company as big as MLB has such poor customer service and is so in dire need of that ELEVEN dollars that they wouldn't refund it to me!
Now I have a t-shirt that I can't wear, I'm out of $10.99, and I've lost all respect for the MLB store. Funny how I'm wearing a shirt that is basically free advertisement for the MLB and supports a player that makes MILLIONS per MONTH and they won't even refund me $10.99 over it. What a shame. Now I have this great story about MLB's awful customer service to share with everyone.
P.S: The quality of the shirt I did get is awful. It looks like a knock-off! The screen printing is very, very cheap!
Update: I spoke to someone else and they did submit the order for a refund! Thank you! The gentleman I talked to was very nice and very helpful. "
"It took 2 weeks to receive item after I received notice it had shipped. Had I known ground shipping meant a 2 week wait I would have upgraded. This was a gift and it arrived too late to give."

"I tried ordering a jersey and hat with my cc and gift cards. First time I tried it didn't go through and brought me back to the "Send your order" page. Weird, but I thought I'd click it again. Same thing happened. I checked my credit card balance and saw 2 charges for different amounts and no email confirmation about the purchase. I was on the phone today for more than 2 hours today with several people trying to find my order, telling me I messed up the order, HANGING UP ON ME while I was on HOLD, and giving me a new, higher price for the goods I tried to buy earlier. "Beware of their shipping. At check out they offer you to ship via USPS or UPS. The local post offices near me are TERRIBLE so I paid extra for shipping via UPS...only UPS doesn't actually deliver it to your house. They take it to the main post master location nearest you and deliver it there. My order has been sitting at the post office, unmoved, for 5 days. I expected to have it already and who knows when I'll see it. It didn't impress me either that it took mlb.com over 2 days to package and ship just 2 hats. I won't be ordering from mlb.com again, when I order something and pay for 3-7 day shipping I expect the item in 3-7 days."

"Don't Buy! Total scam. I purchased MLB.com to watch the Dodgers this season. MLB advertises all normal scheduled games are available to watch. This is not the case. All Dodgers games are blacked out and they will not issue a refund."

"DO NOT USE. I have been waiting a MONTH for a refund on a product I bought for my boyfriend, customer service is not helpful at all and sugar coat the conversation to the extent. The website says you will be reimbursed 3-10 business days after they receive the product and I've yet to get my money back.
