Horrible customer service

"I ordered two chrome books online. Upon delivery one had a cracked screen. I had to drive quite a distance to return and exchange the broken chrome book. A team member for service told the clerk to tell me they were too busy to help me with the exchange and that I needed to help myself. I spoke with the store manager about how rude his associates were. He didn’t seem like he genuinely cared. I’ll never purchase another item from this establishment again. "

Called to verify my order twice

"I was expecting my apple watch to arrive before my vacation so I can use it during my vacation but Micro Center put my order on hold and said they gave me a call to verify my billing address and mailing address. I was confused as to why they had to confirm when I never had this problem before but they told me it is to prevent fraud since my mailing address was different from my billing address. That's fine -- I understand that they need to take these precautions. However, after I confirmed the addresses, they said the order would be shipped immediately. Two days later, I receive another call (at this point I'm already at the security line for my flight when I picked up the phone so I'm already flustered) and they asked me to reconfirm the order. Like what? Does your company not communicate to each other? I thought it was already out for shipping two days ago! Why am I getting so many calls for one order?? This is my first experience with Micro Center and it was not enjoyable at all. I don't know why I didn't just stick to Amazon. I only came to this website because the watch was $12 cheaper than Amazon. Big mistake and big waste of time talking and being on hold with the representatives just to confirm an order that I placed. I ordered the watch in the beginning of the month and didn't receive it until the end of the month. At the end of all this, I still had to pay full price for shipping (kicking myself because with my Amazon prime, I have free shipping). Oh well, lesson learned to not shop here again if I want my products on time. "

Poor customer service

"I ordered a oculus quest from the web store. My card was charged and I received confirmation and order number. The wife and I started our happy dance as this was the gift our son wanted. Twenty minutes later I received a text message canceling the order. Called customer service and ended up talking with the customer relations department. I was told they would look into the order and contact me. Our card was refunded then charged a second time. We thought they were getting a unit to us and the customer relations dept. was making it happen. Wrong! I had to call them back the next day to find out no unit. Basically told they had a few units, took orders and canceled the ones they collected the $$ for but had no units. It took a week for the charge to come off our account. Four hundred and eight dollars a week before Christmas. Looks like this is common practice for this vendor. Just check other ratings.
It could be fraudulent but it is just plain wrong. Just the truth people

"Took 4 days to ship and over a week to arrive. FedEx to the USPS. why not just use the USPS to start ? Would been faster for this.

WD 750N SSD Near Christmas

"The web site indicated that stock was available, but that due to demand quantities were limited to 2 per customer. I placed an order and received a confirmation email. 3 hours later I got another email indicating that my order had been cancelled due to either a lack of merchandise or a credit card approval problem. I called Microcenter to find out what the real issue was. Turns out they were out of stock at their fulfillment center and did not know when stock could be replenished. Without a re-stock date they elected to cancel the order rather than back order the item. Probably the best they could do considering it was right before Christmas.

My only issue with this is that their web site still showed that stock was available for this item more than 24 hours after they cancelled my order, and I confirmed with their customer support that this was incorrect.
