"I needed to buy a custom computer PSU cable so I could install a new harddrive in my desktop. Carrie was incredibly helpful. She showed me the exact product I needed, and explained which options to select when I didn't understand the difference between each.

"Ordered a pair of cables marked "in stock, usually ships withing 24 hours" on June 29th. Asked via e-mail why I had not received notice of shipping after 5 days (no response), took 9 days and filing a Paypal dispute to get a response....which amounted to a boilerplate, "it is delayed, we will ship it as soon as we can." Told them that was unacceptable and started to post reviews. THAT got their attention... if not actually shipping the item, which did not go from "packing" to "shipped" until July 13th. Then they offered to give me a refund IF I DELETED NEGATIVE REVIEWS. I refused. Got the refund anyway (thanks to Paypal pressure).....and discovered that instead of "Speedpost" or "registered air mail" as their website advertises, they had shipped it by surface transport. Yes, in the words of the old joke, my package was on a slow boat from China... Maybe it will get to me sometime next month... Long, long after I needed it.
I had to go out and get the cables made elsewhere....because *my* repotation for customer service is "
"Took nearly 2 and a half months to arrive, spent $20 for a cable, Cable didn't work right. Worthless piece of junk. I got a cable I could have made buying parts from Radio Shack for $2 or $3 dollars. Customer service is very unresponsive. Usually responds with a cut and past reply. "I placed an order for a 70mm computer fan on April 23rd 2020. It is now July 14th and I have received nothing, and probably won't. In the tracking info it shows that the order was shipped on May 05 2020. That is the most recent entree on record. I really needed that fan as mine id making a loud noise."
"First of all, I bought a power sata cable during covid-19 expansion. I could mind that I would have received the cable after weeks (or months). So I kept calm and relaxed.
As the days went by, I wrote a lot of emails to a very Nice and Kind Supporter called Carrie. I asked for shipment, where's my package (this one was the weekly question ahah), and other questions about refund. Yeah, I though to be refunded because I had no idea when I would receive the package. But I changed idea when Moddiy's Team decided to change my shipment method, totally refunded! (From registered airmail to surface mail, because the covid-19 caused the suspension of airmails). After this change, I could receive the cable within 10 days. Very fast!
What about the Supporter? Carrie answered me very fast, within 48 hours, and she was very helpful!
After all, I received the item after +90 days, but they deserve more than 5 stars.

I received my order after 2 months and the huge delay was due to the pandemic. The quality of the product is great. Remember that the product is coming from China so it will take some time. I would recommend them and would suggest that they reach out to their customers to keep them in the loop. I had to reach out several times to find out the status of my order."
"Contacted MODDIY customer service about using "Motherboard USB 3.0 Header to New USB 3.1 Front Panel Header Converter" inline with their "20 Pin USB 3.0 Internal Header Y Splitter Cable 12cm", since my ITX motherboard only has one 20 Pin USB 3.0 Header and my case the NZXT H1 only has 1 USB-A Port and a 1 USB-C Port. In short, the answer is yes, you can use these two components together, and if nothing is plugged into the USB-A Port, the USB-C port can transfer at 10 Gbps rates (assuming the motherboard 20 Pin USB 3.0 Header actually has 2 USB 3.0 lanes). Carrie, the representative, was able to answer my question knowledgeably and quickly for such a niche use case scenario. I'm very impressed and satisfied with this kind of customer service, I rarely encounter support staff at this level."

"What makes Moddiy so good is they don't assume you're experience level. You ask a question - they get back to you instantly or within a respectable amount of time. Don't know how to follow a wiring diagram they'll sort you out on the chat. Made an order thats wrong they'll probably be able to clear that up for you pretty quick. In short you cannot go wrong ordering from them. I made a mistake ordering from Cablemod in the past but these guys got me the part I needed more affordably and faster without huge taxes on shipping to Romania. They are so nice to deal with I hope to continue using them in the future for my next ambitious project!"

"I have an old but still fast HP Z400 workstation. But it is loud. So I wanted to change power supply and fans with new quit ones. HP unfortunately has proprietary connectors on the motherboard. So I was expecting a nightmare of soldering and tinkering. But guess what? Modify.com had all the required conversion cables right at hand. With world-wide shipping (I am from Germany)!!! Wow!"
"Website is laid out very well and FAQs are listed in the descriptions instead of having to go and hunt them down somewhere else (which is also easy to find). The prices on many products is very competitive and they ship worldwide.
