I received a phone call to let me know they were out of stock, so I cancelled my order. They did not protest, and did not try to sell me anything else."

"I just had an extremely positive customer service experience with NWV Direct. On Monday, I ordered the wrong replacement battery charger from NWV for my Canon SD 850 camera. I had sent NWV what I thought was the correct battery information and they immedately shipped the charger that fit the battery as I had described it.
Today, after receiving the charger and realizing that it was too small for my camera's batteries, I contacted NWV, believing it to be their mistake. When they proved to me very quickly that it was my error, I was upset with myself. But I wasn't upset for long, because a man named Charlie in customer service said "a lot of people make this mistake because these battery specs are very confusing". He added that "NWV wanted me to be a satisfied customer,so they would be sending me the correct battery charger at no additional cost.
Wonderful! Amazing! Customer Service at its best! Thank you Charlie! Thank you NWV Direct!

" I placed an order for a Sony charger that was much less expensive on this site than on any other along with some filters .The next day i received a call from NWV Direct stating that the charger was on a national backorder and would be 4-6 weeks before it would be available and they recommended to sell me a more "expensive and better" charger, they said was on their site for $99, for only $10 more than the $29 I was paying for the Sony. I was looking for a genuine Sony and was willing to wait , after a bit of dialouge I needed to get back to work and reluctentlly ageed. It ended up being a cheap aftermarket .I should have read the reviews a bit more thoroughly prior to agreeing,because I would have been expecting the call and either waited or canceled the order . If you read through the reviews ,good or bad ,you will see a pattern of products being on backorder and replacement products offered , bait and switch . Ask what the brand name and model # of the item they recommend to replace the item you really ordered and research it . It is my fault for falling for it . I hope I can get someone to think twice before ageeing to the switch during the phone call . "

"DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME with these jokers! Over the past 8 months I placed an order three times for the same product only to be told it was out of stock - even though their website says shipping in 1-2 days. It's easy to offer the lowest prices on the web when you have no intentions of fulfilling the order! They might as well advertise items for free if they are not going to ship them.
I'll just pay the extra $10 and buy the product from Amazon who has an excellent track record and the best customer service on the 'net.
Update: August 16, 2008
After seeing my review, I received an e-mail from Chester at NWVDirect apologizing for not having all of the items I ordered in stock despite their website still showing 1-2 day shipping. We exchanged a few e-mails and I agreed to have the in-stock items shipped with the promise of not being charged for shipping when the out-of-stock item arrives (I will update the review when I get, or don't get the other item.)
The package was shipped the same day I placed the order, so I suspect that Chester made an effort to get my items to me as soon as he could which was a nice gesture. Chester was very polite in all of his correspondences and seemed sincere to resolve the issue. One thing I am still uncertain about is that the product I received did not have any paperwork and the box was a bit crushed even though the shipping box was fine. I don't know if there is supposed to be any paperwork of not, but this seems a bit odd for a Canon product not to include even a warranty card. The product itself was in good shape though.
As I stated earlier, I'll update this review again when (if) I receive the other item I want."
"I was in need of a set of filters for my videocamera that I would be using on a trip to Germany,and after researching on the internet found that NWV Direct had exactly what I needed at a great price. Upon receipt of the filters, I found that they had shipped me a set of 43mm filters instead of the 34mm that I ordered.
