"The site is not easy but the product arrived quickly and as advertised. Overall, a very good exchange."
"attempt#1, order#519828711, 6/21/04
days after $2000+ order, i found out (after *i* called) that items shown as "in stock" were indeed on backorder. however, this did not stop vendor from immediately billing me. order was promptly canceled, but the refund was $160.82 short. weeks later, a dispute had to be filed with my bank in order to get my money back.
attempt#2, order#594504220, 11/2/06
received approx $1000 ip camera, dead-on-arrival. despite my card number being on file, vendor refused to ship replacement until DOA unit was received. refund or re-purchasing another unit were only options available. given past history with vendor, i was reluctant to 'loan' them another $1000. so i opted for the refund option and placed my new order with another vendor. a week later, vendor refuses to grant ANY refund citing a missing free software disc in my return. so another dispute is filed with my bank. one month after, vendor relents and issues a refund, short $139.50. dispute was updated to reflect the new amount."
"Nextwarehouse was a "newbie" on Amazon.com. I did a web search of them to see what others said about them and it didn't look favorable. I took a chance anyway and ordered a monitor from them for a child's birthday anyway since the price was good, though not a lot less than some eBay auction prices.
A day later they say there is a "mismatch" and, to their credit, did refund my money. However I missed out on a better auction price. It seems at best to be a pattern of ineptness with this company, at worse they are bait and switch artists according to others. Do a web search yourself before you buy, you'll see negative comments about Nextwarehouse on this site (ResellerRatings.com) as well as others.
If an item is mislabeled in a brick and mortar store they need to honor it, the same doesn't go for Nextwarehouse. You think you've purchased something in good faith and they renege and say they've made a mistake.
Stay away from this company. The worst internet buying experience around. "
"Lowest price on the wireless mouse I wanted. Fast shipping on the original order, however they sent the wrong item and it took a while to receive a replacement. Communication with customer service (via email and website form) was thorough, but not very speedy."
"I saw a posting in a forum for a Lexmark Laser Printer for $362.75, free shipping, less $350 rebate. Sounded too good to be true, but went to this store's website, and sure enough it was listed at that price.
Being the careful guy I am, I started checking out the company, since I'd never heard of it and it got pretty decent ratings. When I went back to the store, the price was now $372.15, but I figured a bunch of people had already ordered and they figured they could get some extra money--still a pretty good deal.
Ordered the printer on Saturday night and received the confirmation e-mail at the $372.15 price. On Monday, received 2 e-mails; "In the process of your order with Nextwarehouse.com, we would like to clarify some points for your order before we proceed. Please call us as soon as possible. You may reach our sales manager Michael at 1-***-***-**** Ext. 247." and then, "We are writing you this email regarding your order of Lexmark printer(s). We are sorry that the products were mis-priced and we need to cancel the order. Please contact us at 1-***-***-**** Ext. 247, 237, 262 or 246 should you have any question about your order."
On the one hand, they were good enough to e-mail regarding the mistake, on the other, they promoted a price through various search sites, which I don't believe they had any intention of honoring. I'm sure if I called, they'd offer to sell me something at a higher price, but I frankly only ordered it because it was almost free, so I'm not bothering."
"I placed an order with them for a Lexmark Laser printer which was at an excellent price, after an excellent rebate, on a Friday.
On Monday-a.m., I was sent an e-mail(Oh! All of their mails are "Do Not Reply"!) indicating that a "Michael" from their CS needed me to call him to "clear up some details" regarding my order.
Later that day, I received an additional e-mail, indicating that my order was Cancelled becuase the price They indicated when I placed my order was the wrong price.
I called and asked to speak to "Michael,"(Ext. 247) I was told that he wasn't available and would I like to Re-Place my order for a $200 + price hike or would I like to Cancel it(Trick question??).
I asked and They refused to Honor the price listed when I placed my order! Smells profusely to me of the old "Bait and Switch" tactics which B&M companies got sued for years back!!
Beware of the "Deal" at this site!!"
"Same old story. Product was listed as being "In Stock" on website, so I placed my order. Took 9 days to learn that the mofo is now back-ordered, with an ETA of April 25. I should have taken the cue right away when they wouldn't ship to my alternate address until I cleared it with my CC company. Thankfully, that twitch-inducing layer of "security" has now become passé with most online retailers. So, I've cancelled my order and slam-dunked any notions of ever shopping with these folks again. To be fair, it *is* easy to get someone on the phone, but they'll have to tighten up their inventory updating if they wanna run with the big dogs. Now, let's see if they can credit my account as fast as they charged it."
"I found this store via Froogle. They had the best (by $10) price listed for the Xerox toner I was looking for. The best part was that it also had free shipping. Ordered it on Monday and received it Thursday. Usually free shipping isn't that fast so I was very surprised to see it the same week I ordered it.
NextWarehouse.com's Web site is good. Not the most informative, but fairly easy to navigate and place an order.
Overall, I would recommend to others and I would purchase from them again."
"Fastest free shipping ever! Placed an order for a power supply online and it delivered the next day via fedex! It came six days earlier prior to expected ship date. Good prices too."
"The test of an online merchant is not just what happens when things go right, but what happens when things go WRONG. I had the occasion, with this merchant, to find this out first hand and was very impressed.
I ordered an underdesk keyboard tray that was made by 3M and had a plastic tray with metal tracks attached on the side for mounting under a desk. Although well packaged, the metal track was broken off the plastic tray on one side when I received it; my impression was that it was most probably broken before it was even shipped to me from nextwarehouse, although that damage was not evident from the item packaging.
I called them immediately and surprisingly got to speak to a human being who transferred me to a customer service agent. He arranged for product pickup (at their expense, I was emailed a UPS call tag) when I asked for it, and also for immediate cross shipment of a new one since I desperately needed it.
I got the new keyboard tray 2 business days later which basically means they got the cross shipped item out that same day even though I called late in the afternoon. The damaged one went back at their expense.
Considering how unlikely it is to get a human being on the phone with any of these internet-only merchants, this was phenomenal service in my opinion. Plus, they had the lowest "shipped" price of any merchant for this item on pricegrabber.
Highly recommended."
"I read a lot of bad comments about this company and it made me hesitant to order from them but my experience was very good. Granted a lot of the bad comments i seen was when dealing with customer service and i didn't have to return my item so i can't comment on that. I ordered on sunday night and they shipped my tuesday. I recieved the item and it was boxed very well. This is all one can ask for really. I wasn't as happy with the item as i thought i would be but hey that wasn't there fault that was mine. I got what i ordered. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them in the future"
"I ordered a cakebox of 100 DVD-R disks. They were extremely poorly packaged with no filling and very little tape holding the box together. The contents got damaged and many of the disks were spilled out in the box and some missing altogether. FedEx told me they would pickup the package and send me a check. Next Warehouse intervened and got paid by FedEx, never gave me credit and never sent anyone to pickup the package. I still have a box of damaged and scratched disks and the charge on my credit card."
"Grreat prices on IT components and systems. Billing, shipping and customer service all very efficient. All queries answered within minutes and order easily cancelled when item was not stocked as stated. "
"TERRIBLE!! Quoted product, agreed to overnight shipping charges, charged my card for over 3K, I verifyed credit charges, then told me next morning did not ship. THEN called in afternoon and stated they had a little problem with order... that the product had be sold to someone else. Not even an apology! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!! Now waiting for credit to my card. This company should be barred from on-line sales... if that were possible. "
"Ordered an all-in-one fax/printer/scanner/copier from them on 2/10. As well as having the lowest price I could find (and I'm VERY good at finding online deals) they had it shipped in no time and it was to me on 2/14.. and that includes 2 weekend days! Can't really comment on the customer service since I didn't need them but the order process itself went fine."
