"~I am speechless. This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I put in an order on the 12th March and every single month I was told next month. Finally after 5 months they said it had been sent. Today the wrong product arrived!!!! There is no way to contact these people they do not answer the phone and the live chat never works. Avoid this disaster of a company at all costs. If I could give - 100 then I would."

"the first thing i want to say is that OpenTip (aka Atafa) removes negative reviews from their website. This is clearly the mark of a scam operation. My review that I wrote when i was dissatisfied with their product, their lack of service or response has been removed from their site. Then they dishonestly persuaded me to remove the dispute from my credit card so they could "refund" me properly (which they did not. Citibank finally issued me a courtesy credit for the purchase amount).
Do yourself a favor and do not do business with this company.

"I ordered paper lanterns July 14th. On July 17th, I received an email stating that they no longer had two of the colors I had ordered in the sizes I wanted. They did have the colors in smaller sizes though, so I opted to accept the smaller sizes. On the 20th, I contacted them again asking what the status was since my credit card had not been charged and I hadn't heard anything. They got back to me on Monday, the 23rd, saying that the order would be shipped that day or the next morning. By end of the next day, I contacted them to see if it had shipped and to get a tracking number. They told me a tracking number would be sent to me when it becomes available. Less than 12 hours later, I received another email now saying that one of the lanterns I ordered had been discontinued. I wrote a stern email asking why these lanterns were available last week, but now they were not? Finally I just asked them to cancel the order. They then tell me that my items may have been shipped and if so, they could not cancel the order. Why did they not seem to know whether or not my order had shipped? Isn't that easy to find out? After doing some research about Opentip, I found out that this has happened to many other customers. Apparently, this company charges very high shipping fees, and then won't send you your entire order (they conveniently say that an item is out of stock). Then, when the customer gets tired of waiting and either cancels a portion of their order or returns the items, they still get charged the astromical shipping fee, even though they never received their entire purchase! So basically, this company makes it's money on large shipping fees. Plus, your credit card company can't get the shipping fees reimbursed back to you. I contacted their customer service, and they barely speak English. When I was explaning my situation, the person I was speaking with started yelling at me. I asked to cancel my order, and she said they would send me a confirmation email. When I received the email, it said, "Sorry we haven't shipped your order. You can have a 10 % discount. Please tell us how to proceed". This was sent even though I had explicitly told them over the phone that I wanted my order cancelled. I then called them back and demanded an email that says my order had been canceled. Luckily, I received that email, but I will keep checking my credit card to make sure it isn't charged for this. This company is ridiculous. Save yourself some time and hassle and don't use them."

"Horrible customer service! I work for a contractor and we needed to return an item and exchange it for the correct item. The website said to email their customer service dept to obtain a return #. The response I received was very rude, and it did not include any kind of return #. I was able to get a # when I did an online chat, so I was then able to return the item. They received it broken (of course!) I filed a claim with UPS. The customer service rep emailed me to give me her opinion (on how WE didn't package it correctly). We packaged it just as they did, and I replied with that explanation. Then I received another rude email from the first rep that sent me that first rude email! The product was good and inexpensive, but the experience was not worth the savings. They need a lesson or two in professionalism. "

"I placed an order for a LT Security DVR on Wednesday the 11th of July expecting to receive it my the 18th at the latest. Opentip waited until Monday to process the order. By that time I was forced to spend an additional $27 to upgrade to UPS 2 day shipping because I needed the DVR on the 18th. Opentip waited until the next day to actually ship my product therefor delaying its arrival until the 19th.

I would not recommend purchasing anything from them.

"Do not order from Opentip! It may seem like a good deal, but you will pay in the end. I ordered a DVR camera from them. The one that arrived was a cheap, chinese WEBCAM, which did not include some of the key features I needed. On top of that, it didn't even work! When I emailed customer service, I explained all of this and requested an RMA# to return it. Their response was that I was probably not using it correctly! I sent them a stern email, including a screen capture of THEIR webpage with the false information and again asking for an RMA. They sent me one, but charged me a 20% restocking fee!!
I returned the camera over a month ago, and they have not refunded my money. I have called and emailed them four times. They always say the same thing, "We'll check with the warehouse and get back to you." I have filed a dispute with my credit card company.

"I wish I have seen all these reviews before I placed an order with opentip. I ordered 200 of stress reliever from them, costed more than $300. Opened the box only to realize that they screw up on the customized imprint. On the logo I designed (and they modified and in attempt to charge me), they forgot to delete the "A" that was to identify as option A. So I got 200 of customized logo with a scarlet A next to it. Useless! On top of that, the stress relievers were very crappy made. They have all sort of yellow dots and glue mark on them that opentip people claimed as "small dots are normal".

Please do not order from this company! The product is terrible and the customer service do not exist!

"Excellent service. Zero problems!

I read the reviews before I purchased an item. The item I purchased was $1.68 a piece, they charged me $2.00 for a small order fee and gave me free shipping, so I was ok with saying they charged me $2.00 shipping, I added a second $1.68 item for a total order of $5.36.

I placed the order on 5/22. I was sure it would take at least a week to get to me with the free shipping. I had the items via UPS on 5/25. Not sure how they can afford to do this. Shipping via UPS surely cost close to $5.00.

I will order from OpenTip.com again.

"I received an item that was broken& there exact words were we can not issue a refund but replace the broken part, howcan you replace a whole damn desk with parts but entire desk is broke & to add injury to insult I had to pay extra money because open tip under estimated shipping! So now I'm out of nearly 200 bucks & no desk! Customer service won't even call back.Please DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OUR MONEY...SINCERELY VERY ANGRY CONSUMER"

"Ordered a PL215NAT Keyboard Tray from them. Ordered on a Monday. Got an email on Tuesday, that showed "processed". Product arrived next Tuesday.

Their email communication and site is not that great. But for the money I saved by purchasing from them was worth it. I'd order from them again.

"This place is awful. I ordered a gift for my dad for his birthday. He isn't doing to well, he always wanted one of these so i figured id make him happy and hopefully it would make him fell better some what. It was an inversion table in early feb. They should as they were in stock. i checked the order the next day i seen it was canceled. I called them to see why there answer was they called my bank and since the bank did not have my correct phone number they canceled my order. I re-ordered the item. money was pending in my acct...i called them a month later only to be told the item is out of stock and wont be in for another 3 weeks...i told them to credit back my acct and cancel the order, since at first they did not want to send me the next item simular to the one i ordered for the same price or cut me a break on shipping cost...the best the can do was give me a 8% dicount, which i think is nuts on something that was costing me 305.00 ...after arguing back n forth by email they finally gave me a 10% dicount...almost 2 1/2 months later i seen the money taking back out of my acct again..and item says shipped partially..i called to question it to find out item was not shipped. and the item still is not in the warehouse...no one calls you to tell you nada at all... almost 3 months later never recieved the item...what ticked me off the most my dad never got to see his inversion table at all cause he passed away 3 weeks ago...i really wanted him to have this one cause it was an therapy one with heat remote and all...i will never order from here again or ever recomend this site to no one at all..."

"Purchased a door lock from them. My door is left handed (from the outside, the door opens from the left) so I bought a left-handed door lock. For whatever reason, I received a right-handed lock that was mislabeled as left-handed. Manufacturer's mistake is understandable. What's not is that I am now going to be charged a restocking fee and shipping costs even though I ordered the correct product, but I was shipped a defective product. First and last time I will ever shop here."
