"Whether they knew it or not, they sold me a "used" DeltaPoint Pro 7.5 MOA that had been tampered with. Since the damage was on the underside (drill marks) and I had to mount for a next day 3-Gun competition, I didnt discover the fuzzy, halo'd tripe triangle reticle until hitting the range. 4 Range Officers witnessed the distortion as well. When I call OpticPlanet from the range, I answered in an honest manner that "yes" I mounted it (2 screws into my SVI Infinity Open Gun) but didnt fire. They said, "can't return it send it to Leupold". So 376.00 later I have no red dot and I had to buy an RTS2 from C0More directly to finish out the competition season.
Optic Planet said 2-Day aAir Shipping so I assumed it would be there in 2 days...and I would have time to casually mount the optic, get to the range and zero it. NO, 2-Day air is anytime after 48 hours when the pick it (or drop ship).
So I was screwed, Be careful !!! "

"I got a really great price on this red dot. The customer service rep told me it came with second day shipping. Upon checking my tracking number, it got shipped ground, which is not what I was told. After notifying customer service again, they lowered the price to compensate for the screw up. Overall, I’m happy...just wish it would have been here in time when I actually needed it. "
" There are two areas that could be improved. When ordering an item that has different models of the same product many times the lower priced item will have free shipping, however the more expensive one does not. In some cases the difference between the two is $ 80-100.
The second issue is there needs to be a system that will allow customers to get update on a product which is either on back order or is a pre order. I have an RMR on back order since May and have not received any update as to the status. I believe this would reduce the customer's need to call or ask about a product several times and would show Optics Planet's commitment to their customers satisfaction. I am for the most part over all pleased and satisfied with O.P. and have been a customer for at least 6 years. "
