"I saw the right scope for one of my rifles in a local shop. Price seemed high. Research indicated I was correct. OpticsPlant delivered it in 2 days and saved me over $1,100.00. Shipping time makes you 4 stars instead of 5

"Optics planet is my favorite place to shop. Every person i talk to is so nice and knowledgeable. I have never experienced a negative conversation or have an order not correct when it arrives. The only thing i do not like is the shipping process and amount of days it takes to get my deliveries. Why use a carrier that ships everything east then transfer it back west. You are a 5 star vendor with a 2 star delivery process. You are worth the wait I just don't like it."

"Took them a week to even ship my item. After that, it was only a few days, but come on, people! It shouldn't take a week to get one item out the door! There's a good reason I normally shop elsewhere..."

Once you place an order, the most efficient carrier is automatically selected based on the destination, size, and weight of your package. Most in-stock orders ship within 1-2 business days from our warehouse based in Illinois.
According to the USPS website, it appears the package moved around their Chicagoland hubs before being delivered four business days after tracking was posted. The Free Value Shipping selected for this order states shipments can take 5-10 business days in transit.

The First Place I Go

"OpticsPlanet always has whatever I'm looking for, at the best price- and they will work with you to keep your business. They almost always have some promotion or discount going on, which is great. I particularly like the way their website is set up, and how each item shows the stock level, so you won't end up finding out later that part of your order is not available to ship. They have multiple warehouses, so shipping is fast. Their customer service is the best, compared to a lot of places I've dealt with, they are always very friendly, professional, and will make sure that your questions / concerns are fully addressed. I highly recommend shopping at OpticsPlanet to anyone looking for great deals on high quality brand name outdoor products and gear."

Super slow shipping.

"Only reason I gave it a 3 was the shipping time. It took over a week and a half to get my stuff I ordered. I know it’s free shipping but come on. I ordered stuff from midway 2 days after I placed this order and received it 2 days before this order came in, they had free shipping. Need to work on shipping speeds. "

Terrible customer service/ Sent wrong item and it showed up two weeks late.

"I had used the online website to place a order for a viridian laser sight for a shooting competition I was supposed to be in. At first I had called due to it being over a week an the product still hasn't shown up. I call in and ask if the product had been delivered they had said that it had been. I went to double verify with the apartments to make sure it hasn't arrived. once verified I call back to let them know the product isn't here. After further conversation with the representative we have figured out I had placed the wrong order for the product. Which then was supposedly fixed by the rep and yet still got the incorrect product. I call to make them aware of the issue and I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes then she hangs up on me while I'm on hold. I called back to talk to a nicer rep but, even then the issue was still never resolved. I was told that if I had wanted the product in time for my competition the shipping totals would be over one hundred dollars.. I was referred to the company by a fellow firearms instructor. I will most defiantly not refer any of my customers to this company for optics or sights of any kind. Due to the fact this was what happened on my 1st experience. "
