"First order was placed and while the website showed all items in stock I received an email letting me know 2 of my 5 items would be delayed. Then I got another message about another "in-stock" item being delayed. I chatted with customer service and made a change ordering a full stock kit as opposed to just the stock I originally wanted. Of course that was double the price but was in stock and I was assured it would be shipped out immediately. Well 4 days later my order actually shipped. According to USPS they were sent a tracking number but did not actually receive the package until much later. Of course OpticsPlanet blames the post office but in over 500 packages handled by USPS I have not seen this happen unless what USPS said happened is actually what happened. Guessing it was just a fluke, I placed another order with them on 10/4 and to date still do not have that package and from what I can see it did the same thing. Now back to the first order, it finally shows up and guess what?! They sent me the wrong thing. They sent me just the stock instead of the stock kit. Funny as that was what I originally ordered but was delayed. This screams bait and switch to me. Regardless after a few chats with their staff I finally called in to see if we could "fix" the error by issuing a credit since the stock kit was 50.00 bucks but the stock was only 22.00. They told me NO. My only option would be to send the wrong item back and they would send me the right one. Well considering that 1. OpticsPlanet sent me the wrong item and 2. You take forever to ship I declined and sent the item back for a refund. Now to see how quickly they actually issue the refund. Funniest part about this is I ordered the exact same stock from my usual source and while I paid exactly $1.73 more it showed up in 2 days and was the right thing. I tried OpticsPlanet based on a recommendation from a popular tactical reviewer on Youtube but am done. I gave them two chances and even tried to work with them on the best solution all around. No go. Stick with Buds or Cheaper than Dirt. Better companies all around. "
"I really like the prices and the selection but the shipping is horrible. I ordered a barrel on 10/2 and it shipped on 10/4 and as of 10/17 I still have not received it. It is only coming from 1 state away and the tracking number doesn't even give me a date for delivery. I know this isn't all OpticsPlanets fault but it is crazy how it is taking so long."

"I've been ordering from planet optics for 4 years now. During that time I've never had a problem in getting my merchandise in a timely manner. Its always been in stock and usually shipped next day. It has always been sent priority mail and arrived in less than 4 days and sometimes 2 days! "
"Don't accept free shipping unless it's 2 day shipping. Just pay for shipping otherwise you will wonder if they shipped it by camel. Then, when you order it from Amazon and have to send back the now unneeded item you're going to have to cover return shipping. So to summarize.... At least check Amazon first. "
"I ordered a RMS and mounting kit and it took almost 2 weeks to arrive. When it stalled at the post office, I tried chat to find out what was going on. Optics Planet said they’d check on it if it didn’t move in four days (a week after I ordered).
