"I recently purchased a Storm Lake 9mm Conversion Barrel to convert a Glock 27 .40 S&W to 9mm. After receiving the new barrel, I was able to drop in the new barrel & swap out the .40 magazine for a 9mm Glock 26 magazine and now this old pistol has a new life as a rental gun for our firearms training gun. The switch will allow us to offer this pistol to more students to use as the .40 is not a very friendly cartridge for new and novice shooters. In addition to the cost savings due to the lower price of 9mm ammunition over .40 ammunition.
