SAID THEY WOULD NOT CORRECT CUSTOMER ERROR BUT ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THE ONLY ERROR I HAD MADE WAS USING THEIR BAD SERVICE IN THE FIRST PLACE!

"I spent a lot of time designing my business card using a very precise indesign template. My business cards are designed to fill the whole card with a white border. The image fit perfectly into their design interface and looked centered. Upon checkout they asked me if I wanted to pay extra for a service that would check my cards for errors. I said no - as i was disappointed I should need to pay them extra for this service. Other companies offer this for free.

(Also, for a service called 'Overnight Prints', I had to pay $6.99 for their cheapest delivery option, which didn't arrive for 3 weeks. Their faster shipping costs were unreasonably high and not worth the price.)

Upon receiving the cards the print quality is good but the image isn't alligned. The alignment is also inconsistent from card to card. I sent them an email explaining this and asked how they can rectify the situation.

Their response was immediate but basically said it was my fault for saying 'no' to their checking service. If I had selected yes and paid them to check the cards, they would have warned me that their cut can be off by 1/8th-1/16th of an inch. So basically I should have paid them extra so they could warn me that their service is inadequate. And they left me with no other options but to accept their poor quality cut.

I further questioned the issue. I sent them the above review and gave them an opportunity to rectify it before posting. I even offered a positive review if they would help. Instead of being helpful they hid behind the fine print in their T's & C's, which said: "Overnight Prints does not recommend designs with borders due to the nature of our cutting. We cannot guarantee the bordered design will be perfectly centered after cut." And then they said, "Again, at this time we are unable to offer any form of possible compensation for this order due to customer errors." My design had no errors!!! My only error is using this company. The true error is in their cut and the fact that their unprecise cut is even codified in the T's & C's. No one reads T's & C's. And I would expect a printing company to be able print whatever I send them!!! But companies like them hide behind their T's & C's and use them to take your money and run, despite an unacceptable service.

Complete Waste of Money

"I found the service worse than I would expect from a third world country.
About the only positive part - the business cards I ordered arrived on time as promised.
When i looked at the cards - I had ordered one of their template sets for both design and color - the print was so faint as to be virtually unreadable.
I sent a complaint immediately - it took a few days to receive a reply. I then advised the problem they asked for pictures of the received cards. I sent pictures immediately - it took a few days to receive a reply. They offered either 50% off my next order - or a re-print. I asked for a reprint immediately - it took a few days for a reply advising a forecast delivery quite a few days into the future [this was too late for my scheduled trade show visit] - I said the delivery was too long - they offered 50% off my next order.
There won't be a 'next order' from me - I contacted VistaPrint and they will have the cards to me two days before the trade show.

" The quality of the cards and printing are what I expect. However I needed them at a hotel I was at on a Thursday and they didn't get shipped until much later than that. I paid for expedited shipping and had I know it was going to be late I would have made other arrangements. "

Do not use Overnight Prints!

"Think twice before using this vendor. In response to their own mistake, Overnight Prints is more interested in recouping a portion their profits rather than providing good customer service and helping a grieving family.

We recently had a death in the family and needed mass cards for a funeral on Tuesday after Labor Day. Overnight Prints said they could have 250 mass cards to us the next day, so we uploaded the print-ready PDF on Thursday. We received an e-mail confirmation from Overnight Prints with a UPS tracking number that night. One problem – they didn’t arrive on Friday. Repeated visits to the UPS tracking page showed that Overnight Prints had created a UPS label, but didn’t get the order to a UPS facility.

I tried calling customer support– no answer. I tried their “chat” service, which is misleading, since it’s really just an e-mail that you submit. There is no chatting with an online rep or even an automated bot. Five hours later, I received an automated response: “I do apologize for the unexpected delay in shipping as your original estimated delivery date was set for today 09/02/16. for this inconvenience, we are able to offer you the shipping difference for the day(s) late. Please reply at your earliest convenience regards shipping difference compensation provided.”

Monday is Labor Day, so I need to try to get the cards printed locally on Saturday. There is no way I could wait for Overnight Prints. I responded: “Unfortunately, that delay is unacceptable. If you look at the cards, you'll notice that they are for a funeral service taking place on the day you now expect them to arrive, Tuesday September 6. Please refund the entire price of the order as I will need to try to get these printed elsewhere in time for the church service.”

No response from Overnight Prints. I spoke with two customer service reps on Saturday. The first said I could get a full refund if the shipment was refused. That wasn’t an option, since everyone was going to be at the service. The second rep said they could contact UPS and have the package rerouted to a hub where I could pick them up at 8 AM the day of the funeral. Also not an option due to time & distance. Ultimately, she said she could have a manager call me back – you guessed it – on Tuesday, the day of the funeral.

I spoke with UPS directly. They said I couldn’t refuse the order in advance of the delivery, BUT Overnight Prints could! The second customer service rep said that wasn’t an option due to the contract Overnight Prints has with UPS, which is odd since Overnight Prints can have the shipment redirected to a hub, but somehow can’t recall it.

Let’s hope a handmade sign is enough for UPS to refuse shipment.

A Customer Since 2007 And I'm Not Happy

"Hate to have to do this but...do NOT do business with Overnightprints.com

Since 2007 I have had many projects done by them and I ordered business cards from them Monday and paid extra money (quite a bit of extra money) to have them shipped to me by Wednesday. Nothing arrived today and when I contacted them to check and they said that an unexpected production volume caused a delay and my order didn't get done and now likely won't arrive until Friday. They said I could request a "partial refund".

The representative said that their terms of service spell out that all shipping dates and services are merely "estimates" and things could change for any number of reasons. He said they also don't contact customers if their products don't arrive on time. Is it just me or is this bad customer service.

When I explained that there seems to be no point in offering overnight or express shipping, the representative offered no consolation and quite frankly didn't seem to care.

They said my order was on a pallet ready to be picked up and they couldn't retrieve it. They also said that I could refuse the order and they would issue a refund but if I accepted the order, they would only issue a 25% "store credit" for my trouble? Do I really want to do business with them again?

Bad customer service plus bad attitudes means I never do business with you again.

Don't risk your business on someone that won't guarantee their service.

Lesson learned.

Not great

"I had issues with the spot UV on my print being off center. I double checked my graphics, which were fine. I called customer service and the person who answered was nice enough. She told me they would call me back with some options to help remedy the situation. No one has called, so now I will be calling back. This is not the first issue with the product that we've had either. Previously we have had issues really poor cutting and spotUV not even being printed. Might be time to find a new printer unfortunately.

They get 2 stars instead of 1 because the cards arrived quickly enough.
