Instead, it took me a while to figure out there was something wrong and I had to call them. By the time it was resolved, it was too late for next day delivery."

When I think something is going to slip through the cracks or delivery is going to be missed I can receive a shipping notification at 1am in the morning and the delivery is at my door on time. "I have used Overnight Prints on many many occasions over the past few years to print everything from business cards to wedding items to posters. I have always received quality work for the price until my last project - business card printing. The cards were the worst I have ever seen, I think I could have received better work from Staples or Kinkos!
I paid extra for a file review, and never heard back about the file. The cards were sent directly to my client who upon receipt was less than thrilled about the product. The colors were pixelated (ie file review was a waste of money); the rounded corner die cut pulled the color from the back side to the front giving a weird blue hue to a white card; the rounded corners were completely inconsistent, some more rounded than others; overall they looked terrible. Overnight Prints made it extremely difficult to have a reprint processed - having me go back MULTIPLE times to my client to ask for different images, and not one customer service agent asking me to get a picture of 10% of the card order. On the third call to customer service (and after multiple online chats) I was then asked for this and had to yet again go back to my client for additional photos.
One of the customer service agents was reading through the notes on the order and said "oh yea there is a note here that there was an error in the file" Um HELLO! Why did I pay for file review - for them to review and not tell me, and proceed with printing!?! I said can I please send a new file for the reprint and she said yes absolutely. On the next call checking in if my new files were OK they said they had begun printing - and I asked with WHAT files? He said the original... SERIOUSLY!?! I asked him to again look back through the notes and make sure they used the NEW files for the reprint. Thankfully he was able to get this fixed.
The new cards were "better" but they still not follow any of my instructions from the email with the new files - regarding the crappy UV coating. The new cards are still not up to par with what I paid for, not to mention that I paid for rounded corners which we didn't receive with the reprint. We also requested a full UV coat, rather than a spot coat, since that didn't look great, and still recieved the Spot coating.
This really kills me writing this review because in the past I have received great work from Overnight Prints, but this whole situation really irked me - and not to mention cost me a client, my design time and the printing costs. For a small business, this really hurts.
I will say the agents I spoke with seemed like they truly did want to help, but they seemed to lack some prepress knowledge, which seems like a standard requirement to work in this position.
I never received a follow up regarding the reprint either. "

"Our products arrived defective. During the ordering process, when there was an issue with our design, I spoke with a rep and was given instructions on how to make it right. After following the directions, adjusting our design to fit their supplied template, and removing the hold from my order, I assumed they would verify that the problem was fixed before printing. When my items arrived, they were defective - the issue had clearly not been fixed and no one at Overnight Prints had bothered to contact me about it before going to print. When I contacted Overnight Prints about it, I was told they don't bother to check it after the first time, that it just printed automatically and it was my fault the images weren't right and that the best they could do was a 50% store credit for the defective items. I would think the "best they could do" would be thorough follow-up on all orders before printing and then guaranteeing customer satisfaction or refund. Now, our small business is disappointed to have products we can't use, no refund, and no acknowledgment of responsibility for the oversight from Overnight Prints. We have to start over with another printer, hundreds of dollars later, possibly missing our deadline. I hope to save another customer this frustration by recommending you avoid Overnight Prints!"
