"I want to warn everybody, DO NOT SHOP AT OVERSTOCK.COM! I placed an order for executive briefcase and their web information showed that it has been shipped out/billing information received by UPS on 12/1/03. But 14 days later, the item has not been arrived nor the order status information on the web has been updated. I contacted customer services number of times by phones and e-mails, but all they could say was that "you have to wait 10 BUSINESS DAYS until we make a further investigation regarding your order status," "the warehouse will get back to you but you have to wait 4-5 BUSINESS DAYS," "after the investigation begins, you have to wait another 10 business days to hear the results from us," and, get this, "No refund is possible since it has been shipped out already!". But when I contacted UPS personally, they said that their system does not show that they have received the package from Overstock.com. Clearly, they are blaming UPS and not taking responsibilities. I wonder if I would ever receive my order again, but I learned my lesson. I will never shop at overstock.com again, and I will tell my friends not to get into the same kind of troubles that I have. I also want to file the complain with Better Business Bureau. "

overstock.com is a very unprofessional business that
doen't mind charging your card then leaving you hanging
wondering if you'll ever receive your order or not!

"I placed two orders for a Panasonic DVD/VCR Home Theater. The first one had a huge dent in the DVD/VCR player and had broken pieces inside. The dent was so deep that the VCR could not fit a tape inside. They are giving a refund and did send a shipping label so I can send it back.
On my second order I had another dent in the same place on the DVD/VCR player. It wasn't as deep and the VCR would still function. I decided to keep it. However, there were markings on some of the speakers and the units and some were very noticeable. I won't be dealing with them again."

"I am a frist time customer at overstock.com but I am extremely dissatisfied with my first order of the Tiffany Sterling Silver Heart Pendant. I have been informed by Tiffany’s that this pendant is "NOT" an authentic Tiffany product as advertised by their website. Being a first time customer, I am very disappointed in their way of business. I don't know whether you knew of such occurence, but for sure overstock.com should have inspected all purchased merchandise and make sure that all product sold on your site is at the value or quality of which it was guaranteed.

"I purchased what Overstock claimed to be an authentic tiffany & co pendant from Overstock, and when it arrived it was very obvius to me and everyone I showed it to that it was a hack job from some imitation company. When I wrote to overstock they told me they would look into it. I found out that every single person that ordered one also received an imitation. I finally received a reply from overstock saying that they were authntic, and that Tiffany and co said they were fake cause Overstock was selling them for so cheap. Tehy would not let me return mine and send me an authentic one, nor would they admit tey were fake, all they would say was you can return it for a refund. This was my second order with overstock, and I will never do business with them again and I suggest that you do not also."
"One of my worst online experience ever. They advertised a Tiffany's jewerly as "Genuine" but it ended up as a fake. I got the necklace checked out at a retail Tiffany's store, and they assured me that it was a fake. I knew this for a fact that it was a fake when I first took a glance at it. I emailed the CEO about this situation and requested to have an answer to this. All the CEO did was that he let his csr send me a generic email stating that the Tiffany jewerly was real. I can't believe that they won't even admit that it was a fake. It is a true fraud and deception scheme that they are pulling. I purchased a Tiffany pendant necklace from them, and thought it was fake...then went to Tiffany's store and bought the same one, there is absolutely NO QUESTION in my mind that Overstock's was a fake. Cheap box, cheap puch, cheap pendant (scratched up and dull), and half-a$$ done inscriptions...never buy jewelry from them...ever!"
