"I ordered only one product from this store, a blue 14ft cat 6e Ethernet cable on August 19, 2005. It has been 7 days and the package still has not arrived. According to their site the package has been shipped, however, when I check the usps site, it says that they have only received the shipping info, and not the actual package. I called them this morning during the listed business hours, but all I got was a recording and a answering machine. I only bought from this store because the rating seemed good, and it was listed on techbargains.com, I guess I was wrong about this store and will most likely not do business with them again.

Ironically the cable arrived this evening, however, it appears different from the picture showed on the site. instead of a cup formed snagless type it is a tab formed snagless type and it is marked as a category 6 instead of the stated 6e. Thus I change my rating from Very dissatisfied to somewhat disstatisfied

"Ordered/paid for 2 ipod mini cases. Received one iPod mini case. The item came repackaged in something marked, only, "CASE for your phone", with a sticker reading For Mini on the case.

When I called to ask about the missing case, I was told the shipping department would look into it. I will return to re-rate them should I not hear back.

"I've order a few things from them in the past, and all orders went pretty smoothly. For this specific order, I ordered a Triumph Venus 3.5" external drive case using a 5% off coupon code. The discount was reflected, and shipping was quick. My only complaint would be they do not seem to have an order confirmation. In this age of newegg and chiefvalue, order confiramtiona nd shipping confirmation is a must."

"I had the same experience as Inspector108. I bought a SABRENT USB 2.0 TO IDE CABLE FOR 2.5"/3.5"/ 5.25" DRIVE WITH POWER ADAPTER. I had to return it too because it would not detect my hard drive or my cd-rom. When I received the package it was not sealed, no plastic wrap at all. It looked like it had been opened or it was a return goods. I explained these reasons to them in the email and by phone but they still charged me a 15% restocking fee even though their hardware didn't work properly.

This is very unfair. Eventhough the amount was small, but I agree with Inspector108 that this shows a bad attitude to their customers.

I should have read the review from Resellerratings before I wasted money on this piece of junk.

I am not going to buy from this company any more.

"I ordered an external USB/IDE adapter. I had to RMA it because it would not work reliably with my system, most of the time it would not detect the hard drive at all. My computer is only 4 months old, and the hard drive is a brand new Seagate 300 GB. Also, I’m pretty computer-savvy and do tech support for friends and associates. I tried a friend's adapter--a different brand--and it works perfectly, so the problem was clearly with the adapter they sold me. I explained all this 3 times to them and that I have no hardware problems except when using their adapter

I returned it to them in perfect condition with all packaging, but they charged me a 15% restocking fee even though their hardware didn't work properly; that seems unfair. I pointed this out to them, but that didn't make any difference. Fortunately the amount was small, but I don't think this shows a good attitude to customer service.

It wasn't difficult to do the RMA, although it took several days for my account to get updated on their Website so I could actually put the RMA request in. Their shipping wasn't the fastest but OK. I can't complain about it too much, because this was a free shipping deal.

My impression is that they advertise a lot of cheap generic stuff to get listed on the deal sites in order to get shoppers to their site, but I would be very wary of these 'deals' they offer. The item I bought was house brand, and although I have had good luck with other generic equipment, this adapter was obviously poor quality, and not worth the trouble.

"Used discount code when ordering from this store. It did not appear on order. Emailed sales at PCMS and never recieved answer. Discount was given and ordered delivered via USPS Priority. Packaging was poor but products delivered without damage. Would not order fragile items from them. Low prices on most items, shipping reasonable. Did not like packaging or not having access to shipping costs till near end of purchasing process. Would probably order from them again."

"I previously ordered a USB 2.0 enclosure and some USB cables. The cables have been working great. The casing on the enclosure kind of fell apart. The electronics board was glued to the casing and it got loose so it comes undone when I am disconnecting the hard drive. Not a big problem since it still works great.

On this second order I bought 10 HDMI cables. They were shipped in a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope. The packaging didn't survive the trip. There was a hole at one end of the envelope and the beginning of a big tear on the other side. Nothing was missing, but I think stronger packaging will be required for future shipments.

"My first purchase with them; bought the aluminum external pcms harddrive enclosure from them because it dirt cheap.

Pros: Received within 5 days of order via USPS. (tracking number was provided)
Item received as described.
Item in original manufacturer's packaging.

Cons: No special shipping/packaging methods to protect item from shock/pressure. The orignial box the enclosure came in was the only thing that really protected it. That box was stuck in your standard brown clasp envelope - that's it. No additional cushioning. Wish they would have gone an extra step with better packaging methods like many other vendors do. Not sure if it was just be/c it was a single item with it's own box but within the box, there were a few loose items like nails and a mini-screwdriver. Perhaps, I'd pay extra for shipping next time.


Otherwise, I had a pleasant shopping experience.
