"Everything went smoothly. When customer service encountered a problem with some of my information, a representative contacted me immediately, so there was no delay in filling my order. Both of my purchases from PCMicrostore were entirely positive, and I would do business with them again."
"I placed an order for a 3.5" hard drive enclosure and a 5.25" drive enclosure on November 30 at 6:30 PM. Both enclosures were shipped on December 1 and arrived at my campus post office on December 4, which was closed :(. I picked them up Tuesday, dropped both drives in, and was pleased to see that both enclosures were exactly as advertised and worked perfectly. No complaints from me at all."
"Order received. Everything as advertised. Very satisfied."
"I ordered a cpu (AMD Athlon XP 3200) from this site. When I checked my order status, it was listed as "SHIPPED". I took the tracking number and checked it with Fedex. They said that they did not have the package in their posession. This went on for FIVE days. I called the vendor and asked where my package was. They said that it was in their warehouse and that they would give it to Fedex in a day or two. I thought that "SHIPPED" with an "ED" ad the end meant that the shipping process had taken place. Not, that they planned on performing the process at some unspecified future ocassion. Well 13 days and still no shipmeent has arrived."
"RE ORDER # 64361
Shopping Service was fine and swift. However, the product is not performing as advertised & I have spent many hours trying to resolve this by phone your customer service who deserves praise for his unsuccessful efforts. Here is his note:
Dear George,
If none of our tech support team response to you in 24hrs,
please call us back and ask for Warren, he will be able to
help you.//Sincerely,//Kevin Cheng//Customer Service//

However, no one has called back after this note and I did not call you. I did call manufacturer, ValueDisk's Tech # for help with the 2.5" Hard Drive 2-in-1 Combo USB 2.0/Firewire enclosure and the Chinese person with limited English there informed me that I should trying leaving the rear plate off the unit once the PCB board and the HD were properly connected and inserted. Further that ValueDisk was aware of this defect in the product long ago and had assumed that the older units were on longer in anyone's inventory.
The problem is that the drive is not recognized by the Macintosh G4 system via the Firewire (1394) conneciton. With the back off I did get the volume to appear on the Desktop of a G3 Blue&White but it froze the system & had other bad effects on the Finder. I tried connecting via the USB connection although I don't have USB 2.0 and want to use Firewire for speedier transfer. That seems to have worked okay and I was able to hot-swap to the Firewire port. But again anomalous effects freezing the system occurred that I consider related to the product I bought from you. Even if I do get it to work, I will need to return this product for replacement with the newer (and presumably better designed) version ValueDisk now supplies IF I CANNOT SCREW ON THE REAR PLATE AND PASTE THE COVER OVER THAT.
Perhaps you could have a Technical Support or Customer Service person (e.g. Warren?) familiar with OS 9 and OS 10 Macintosh systems and hardware call me. You have my phone number with the original order.
Thank you.

"I've dealt with PC Microstore numerous times and they have always been a great seller. This company and NEWEGG is where I get all my stuff at. Sometimes things go wrong beyond anyones control, but PC Microstore goes out of its way to make sure they please their customers. Buy with confidence"
"All my questions were answered promptly by e-mail. I received my CD Burner on time and it works fine. Thanks! Larry"
"I purchased a 50 pack of Prodisc DVD-Rs. Received package within 4 business days. Have burned 4 DVDs so far, they seem to be excellent quality no errors. Would definitely do business with PCMicrostore again."
"This is a very good place to buy computer components and upgrades. I especially like their enclosures. Their enclosures are cheap and still looks classy. I ordered a fan from them for my case. The only problem is that it didn't come with screws. Luckily I have some lying around. The fan was as advertised and performed as expected. I'll buy an enclosure from them when I upgrade my computer. I also tried emailing their costumer service about their product if the description provided on their website is actually what the product is. They were kind enough to check their product and informed me."
"Awesome deal on a USB cable - advertised price on Pricewatch was honored and was shipped the same day it was ordered."
"Ordered a CoolMax 3.5 HD enclosure on Monday (marked as shipped within 1 hour of ordering) and received the package on Friday via Fedex in good condition. Product was in brand new condition and as described. Clean no-hassle purchase. If the price is right, I will purchase from them again."
"This is the first time I have shopped with PCMicroStore.com and I must say that their customer support is worthy of credibility. They have always responded timely and with adequate information. Two thumbs up!"
"Order received today ontime and in good condition.
Warren is an excellent Customer rep. and contacted me more times than I contacted him!
Its really nice to have someone look after you like that."
"I'm starting to get a bit ticked off with PCMicrostore.com. Originally, everything was great. I had ordered a 20GB hardrive and they sent me a 30GB because it was out of stock. Nice to see a place that upgrades to keep delays to a minimum.
The problems began after I got the drive. I thought the drive was damaged because I was having problems with it on both of my PCs. I obtained an RMA # and sent it back. First, the package almost didn't get delivered (in PCMicrostore's defense, the idiot at the place I shipped from did type the address wrong). After they got it, they called me telling me that there was nothing wrong with the drive.
I didn't agree, and was offered 2 choices. Either they ship the original "broken" drive back for free, or they'd send a new one if I paid half the shipping, which they said was roughly 4 bucks. I figured, for 4 bucks, I'll take the new one. I said to go ahead and charge my card, and if it didn't go through to try again the next day.
That was almost 3 weeks ago. I have called back every 2-3 days and e-mailed them. Every time, I get told that they were going to try and charge the card today. However, I have check my check card statement and every time, there is not so much as an authorization on my account. If they don't process the card when I ask them to, I don't have the money in my account to cover the charge. These delays are costing me money as I have a client waiting for a new hard drive in their PC and I don't have it. And forget about trying to get the "broken" one back, shipped free. When I finally told them to just do that, I got told "uhh...we never said anything like that. You'll need to pay the return shipping".
I have had just about enough of the runaround. I'm already looking into getting the charges reversed on my credit card...it's not like I have the product here anyway. I like PCMicroStore.com and would order from them again, assuming that I don't have to go through the RMA process again.
UPDATE: I got the Hard drive back through the mail a few weeks ago. No charge."
"Thanks for all the help & prompt reply to my question. I chose your store not for the lowest price but for the excellent rating and superior customer service. The price was good but other stores with low ratings were cheaper. I did not want to be another customer in a battle with a low rent wanna be online retailer. PCMicrostore definitely has my vote. Would definitely shop here again. Very impressed. Would recommend to all consumers to be informed of who you are doing business with.
