"So far Smarthome has delivered, I've had two instance where I needed to contact customer support and they have come through both times. Highly recommend."
"My last order was on 4/6/08 for a pair of adjustable LED headlamps(I know, geeky). I've always wanted one of these for random work when I need light. I came across a coupon deal that turned the original $25.98 for two price down to $10.39, the best deal I've ever found. The headlamps are pretty decent and Meritline came through with the discount without a hitch. I've ordered other random things through them over the years like CD/DVD spindles and have never had a problem."
"I Placed an order for the Logitech Harmony 1000 universal remote through Buydig on 6/17/08. Buydig had the best price of $249.95, no tax, with free budget shipping. All other places I found required rebates with purchase of a TV and/or the addition of tax and shipping charges putting the price at around $270+. Luckily for me, I'm in NYC and Buydig is in NJ so even budget Fedex took only two days. I had the remote in hand by the 19th and all was good. The product package was pristine (no traces of being previously opened). I also purchased a digitial camera back in 2002 from Buydig but never wrote a review. That purchase also went smoothly with no issues. I will have no problems purchasing from Buydig again."
"I ordered a watch for my wife through princeton watch on April 30th. They had a great price that was better than any other e-tailer I found on the net including Ebay. They shipped promptly and has some of the best shipping rates around (normally 2nd day air costs only $3 to the customer as Princeton Watches absorbs the remainder of the cost). I recieved the item without incident, but realized even though the watch was listed as women's on their site, it was huge! Princeton watch did accurately list the size (around 42mmx36mm), but the gender for the watch being classified as "for women" threw me off. My wife's wrist is way too small for such a large size. As much as I liked the watch, I decided to return it. Princeton watches has a truly hasslefree return policy. No RMA was needed. I simply repacked the watch with a letter explaining my reasons of return and a copy of the invoice. As stated in their policy, I was refunded promptly about 5 days after they received the item, less $9.30 for the shipping cost they absorbed when sending me the item. 2nd day air at roughly $12.30 ($3+$9.30) is pretty good compared to around $25 that seem to be the norm with most e-tailers. Their customer service is also EXTREMELY quick in answering inquiries. I've emailed them about 2 or 3 times throughout the process and had them respond within hours. I called customer service once or twice and a live person answered without going through a phone system and 0 hold time. Ultimately I am happy with my purchase experience, Princeton Watch is definitely a straight shooter, and I will be ordering from them again in the near future."
"I ordered an iPod touch 8GB w/ engraving along with a few accessories on 12/06/07. As far as the shipping procedure goes they were acceptable. I received a "shipped" email on 12/08/07 & received on 12/11/07. As another customer wrote before, their tracking number says masked, and when you click it, a UPS tracking page that is screwed up with missing images comes up. At first glance it looks like a non functioning page but if you scroll all the way down you will see the correct UPS tracking information. One thing I really didn't like about Macmall is their advertised "free" shipping is actually "After Rebate". I've never seen businesses do rebates on shipping before, and it strikes me as really scammy but I guess a rebate and a chance to get your money back is better than having to pay for full shipping. It's a little tough to get rebate forms too, a few accessories that have rebates did not have links to the rebate forms from the product page (like Newegg, or most other Etailers). I actually had to find the rebate center and input the item # to pull up the correct rebate forms. They had one of the best prices online for the touch, so price was good. the biggest disappointment to me is when I received the touch (gift for the wife) not only did it not come with the standard full cover plastic wrapping that all iPods come with but there were a good amount of scratches on the back. The outer box itself was also not in good condition, along with a big long box cutter like cut, there were a lot of scuffmarks present. I understand they need to open a factory box to do the engraving, but I wonder what happened to the box and the unit itself during the process. It seems having an engraving done automatically makes the unit "used" or "refurbished". I thought they'd be more careful about ensuring the unit is in pristine condition since you are buying it new. The unit did come with the plastic cover on the front screen and properly sealed accessories. I haven't decided yet whether I will call Macmall back or maybe call Apple. The unit does work fine, and the scuffs may not be bad enough to demand a new unit, especially since it's personalized. I did not experience the reported credit hold issue with CS, maybe because I used “Billmelater”.
In Addition: I did some research and found out Macmall does their own engraving, I assumed Macmall gets the iPods factory fresh from Apple engraved, but that's not the case hence Macmall's shoddy repackaging procedures. Lesson Learned: If you want engraved, go with the apple store."
"I ordered around 20 microfiber cloths, and new ipod mini silicone case and a stack of rare earth magnets for a total of around $11. I have to admit Dealextreme seems to have pretty decent infrastructure for selling such "lowcost" items. I received and email explaining a shipping delay due to some backorder and an option to cancel on-line. My order was sent out a few days later with a shipment confirmation email. It takes a little time since the items get shipped out from Hong Kong. Items were correct and as described and was dirt cheap. Would order from again."
"I ordered an HP LP3065 30" LCD monitor from Techonweb on 10/30/07. They had the lowest price hands down on the net and had good reviews on reselleratings. The order process went fine and I received my monitor about 5 or 6 days after the order. Techonweb's online order update system could use some work as far as tracking # updates. Upon receiving the monitor and testing it, I found I had an unsual amount of stuck pixels, and promptly contacted customer service. I spoke with Brent Dell, who was very courteous and polite and worked quickly to resolve the issue. I had an RMA# and tracking # within 24hrs. I shipped the monitor back and within 2.5 weeks had a new one shipped to me. The new monitor is perfect with no issues. 2 out of 2 times I had to call techonweb I reached Mr. Dell without even a second of wait time. Out of the 4 email correspondence I had with Mr. dell all of them were answered within a day if not sooner. All in all, I am extremely happy with the way Techonweb handled my situation and would definitely order from again. Thanks Mr. dell!"
"Ordered a Sentry waterproof / fireproof lockbox, with a 10% off online coupon it came up to the best price shipped. Shipping was free too, for such a heavy item. Received the item in 2 days. No complaints here."
"I recently placed an order for a 720 disc capacity aluminum box. I've ordered a 320 disc box & media from them before. Every transaction has always been quick and I've never had any problems with this retailer. Would definitely order from again."
"I ordered an ASUS P5W64 WS Professional mobo from Zipzoomfly, they had the cheapest price in stock at the time, and their "shipped" prices are always attractive. Ordering was painless, I received the item with no problems and it functioned properly. The board and packaging / accessories were all brand new. I ordered from them back in the day when they were googlegear and had a positive experience as well. I would have ordered more items from them but they were out of stock of some of the components I needed. Will definitely use them again."
"Office depot/ tech depot is huge, so I didn't expect much to go wrong with my experience. Usually I go with my regular online merchants, but found a rare crazy deal on a Lacie 500GB external drive for $99 I believe it was a price mistake as this drice is at least $179 at the cheapest places. Ordering was painless, and when they mean next day delivery, they mean it. Only draw back for frequent purchases is they charge tax in NY, but the deal was so good it didn't matter to me. Everything went well. Though they can't compete with prices from other premier online-only retailers, sometimes they have great deals. Will order from again."
"I ordered an Enermax Galaxy 1000Watt Power supply from Mwave. At the time most places of out of stock. Mwave didn't have the best price, but had the second best price I could find which led me to go with them. Ordering went smoothly, shipping was not bad for such a heavy item (about 12 lbs, $10.85 shipping). I received the item pretty quickly without incident. The product was pristinely new and in perfect shape. I would usually stick with my usual online retailers, but will always give mwave a look for my future purchases."
"Was looking for a Samsung SATA DVD burner, at the time, since it was just released, Only Bestbuy carried the retail version for around $89. Viperspace was the only place I found online carrying the OEM model for around $50. At first I was a little skeptical because of the obviously "do it yourself" ecommerce retail look, and the fact that I didn't really find any contact info. I took the plunge anyway because I needed the part for my machine I was building. Surprisingly the transaction went well, Viperspace is definitely Legit. It seems like they drop ship their product, and shipping was prompt and the item was new. A downside to Viperspace is they charged me tax for NY. I spoke to Adam at Viperspace to get a tracking number and he was very helpful and quick."
"Sundial was one of the few to carry the CoolerMaster CM Stacker 830 Evolution at the time. I had never used Sundialmicro previously, so I took the leap. They were prompt in shipping and the product was as described. Overall great experience, will definitely use again!"
"I've used Ashford about 4 times in 2005. I've never had a problem with them, and their prices have been good. I mainly used them for a little over 1K in Jewlery, but the Jewelry actually came from Diamond.com who has great quality as far as internet jewelers go. I've dealt with their customer service trying the get a correct ring size and they were excellent. very friendly and helpful, and even upgraded shipping for no charge. I haven't used them since, mainly because they no longer use Diamond.com, but have partnered with ice.com. I also felt as time went on the quality and selection of their products started going downhill. My brother purchased a 2K+ Breitling watch from them a few years back and he has had no problems at all. All in all, Ashford has been pretty good to me."
