"I was a little apprehensive to deal with PCNATION.COM at first only because I did not know of anyone personally that had done business with them before.

I normally do all my online business with only Amazon.com or NewEgg.com. Anyway I was shopping for the Canon Digital Rebel (EOS 300D). After doing all my research they seemed to have the best price, showed it was in stock, and offered Free shipping via FedEx.

I placed my order in the evening. I did not get an automated confirmation email as timely as NewEgg or Amazon (usually 5 minutes or less), but I did get one by 9:30 a.m. the following morning. Within 24 hours of placing my order their website showed a status of "shipped".

I received my Canon Digital Rebel as promised and nicely boxed in well protected packaging. I have no complaint with this company and only recommend that they update their order automation system to send an email confirming receipt of the order within minutes of receiving it. I will do business with them again if the price is right and I will recommend PCNATION to others."

I was very annoyed that I could not for the life of me get a tracking number from them, which made me think that they might be lying to me about the product being shipped, but both times I received the package the next evening, so I was happy."

"The whole experience was great. I ordered 2 APC LR1250s for a decent price. They immediately e-mailed me letting me know that the order was precessed and they also called me a few minutes later to verify that the shipping address was correct due to the fact that I was having it drop shipped somewhere. "I am amazed at the service and value I received from PCNation when I purchased a Samsung ML-1710. Not only was their price cheaper than NewEgg (suprise #1), but they also had a rebate for an additional $30 that was exclusive to PCNation. I just *had* to try them out at that time.

So I trotted over here to check out their ResellerRatings. I have to admit that I was a bit nervous about dealing with them based up their so-so standing, but I decided to try them out.

Everything was very, very smooth, with emails every step of the way. That was expected, but I was *very* surprised when I got an email 2 days after my order with the tracking info - saying that the printer was ready for delivery! As I paid for the cheapest possible UPS shipping, I was very pleasantly surprised.

"I would not recommend this company to anyone. I worked with the salesman to get a good price on some high-dollar monitors for my company. Despite the usual rigamarole about "I have to check this with my manager" I was finally able to get a firm quote that seemed pretty good. However, when I attempted to establish an account for the purchase, the Credit Department threw the whole process into reverse. They asked for two weeks to check our references and our D&B score, which I thought was a bit much, but not totally out of line. So I waited patiently for their answer, even calling back to provide them some further information. Finally, when we were into the third week and no word one way or the other, I began calling. After two days of unanswered calls, I waited on hold for ten minutes, only to be told that they could not approve us. I was shocked, and asked if they had checked with our references with whom we have annual purchases in the hundreds of thousands with perfect Net 30 payments. He said that he was "pretty sure" that one of his staff had called. He refused to elaborate on why they could not extend credit to us beyond saying that as a small company they couldn't take such a large risk. This is on a total purchase of less than $15,000.00! I will never consider doing business with such a rinky-dink operation ever again. This has cost us almost a month of waiting to make this purchase, with not so much as a phone call to say sorry. We are a large company with over twenty years of great credit. I can only imagine how they treat someone with less."

"Purchased an NEC projector on Sunday. Monday, the site was updated and said that it had shipped. FEDEX delivered on Wednesday at noon. Price was super cheap and the shipping was super fast. Only knock against them would be that they never posted or sent tracking info. It said I could call for it, however. But hey, it arrived in 2.5 days. What's to complain about?"

"I placed an order with PC Nation about a week ago for about $350 in cartridges and image drum for my Okidata color laser printer. The printer has been upgraded since I bought mine, so finding parts anywhere but on the expensive Okidata site has been difficult. PC Nation not only carried the parts for my older printer, but their prices were significantly lower than at Okidata. I called the order in, had no wait, and talked to a knowledgeable sales rep. He took my order and confirmed the items in stock, and also let me know that there was a free shipping promotion going on. 3 business days later, I have my supplies in perfect shape and saved a bunch of money. I will continue to purchase from PC Nation after this positive experience."

"Initially the item was listed as in stock, but when I ordered it, I received a note that it was on backorder. A customer service rep (I think they only have one :-) assured me that it would be available within days. Another phone call three days later, and it turned out that "a few items just got into the warehouse"; so one could be shipped immediately. Very courteous CS rep, and decent service.
