"PCNation's site is decent. It includes shipment status and tracking numbers. However, my major complaint is that they changed the shipping company without my permission. I requested Fedex 2nd Day because Fedex was the only shipping service that was reliably delivering to my area after Hurrican Rita. While PCNation did ship part of my order using Fedex (Canon Digital Rebel XT), for some reason they shipped the other part of my order (Sandisk 1G CF Card) with UPS. The CF card took over a week to arrive, leaving me with a camera that I couldn't use because I didn't have storage media for it. I ended up buying an additional 512MB CF Card from a local retailer just to get by.
Unfortunately, I'm going to have to rate PCNation fairly low on this purchase experience. Hopefully other buyers will have better success."
"PCNation is not trustworthy. I ordered an item from their website. They then telephoned me and said that the shipping charges would be $100 more. The shipping charges had already been calculated on the website. This is a classic bait-and-switch operation."

The very next day, an CS called me and said that I have to pay $30 extra for shipping. The CS explained the situation, but still refused to honor my order. "Like many others here, I had trouble getting PCNation to charge my credit card properly; it took several tries with two different numbers, and they were at a loss to explain. I was getting the run-around until I e-mailed them threatening to cancel the order, and mentioning the bad reviews they're getting on this site. That did it! I get my order the next day. I think they're aware of the lousy reputation they're getting, and trying to at least appear to be doing something about it. In the meantime, they're apparently one of those vendors you have to threaten before they'll do their job; whether this hassle is worth the savings (they are cheap) is up to you. "
