" I purchased a printer from them and choose 2-3 day delivery. I received an email that same day saying that the product had been shipped. I called the next day asking for a tracking number and they said that it was not available yet and it would not be available until the next day (2 days after I received an email saying it was shipped). I called the day after that and they gave me the tracking number. I looked it up online and it said the expected delivery date was 6 days after I placed the order and received an email saying it had been shipped.
I called and asked to speak with a supervisor and they transfered me. After talking with them for quite a while, they said that they were going to check some things and then call me back. Two hours later I still hadn't received a call back. I called them and asked to speak to the supervisor again. This time a spoke to a different person and they said that they are the only supervisor that is working.
Bottom Line: They do not deliver the package when they say they do, the customer service is horrible, and they lie to you when they say they are going to let you speak to a supervisor! Do not purchase from this company!"

"I placed an order for a Vaio laptop after my current laptop crashed. I needed a new one ASAP so I ordered one that showed "in stock" on the PCNation website. I chose them b/c the site showed "free 2-3 days shipping". A bonus was no state sales tax. Great price, free and fast shipping... what more could you ask for?
Well here I am 6 days later with no laptop. Two days after I placed the order they sent an email saying that it would have to be delayed by a couple days to avoid the sales tax. Ok, I figured I'd get it by Friday then, maybe Monday. As of today, it hasn't even gotten to the 2nd wharehouse. After it gets there (I'm told today or tomorrow), it'll be sent to me. Hopefully I'll get it this week. I'll likely get it 11 days or so after I placed the order.
I understand the sales tax issue but they really need to specify this BEFORE the order is placed. "Free 2-3 days shipping" is NOT "free 11 days shipping"... a "delay of a couple days" is NOT a week. I needed it ASAP and this is why I chose PCNation and this specific laptop.
I have no problem ordering from them again in the future (assuming I get it this week) but they do need to clarify things before an order is placed.
Edit: I did recieve it on the 19th and it was the correct system exactly as I ordered. "

"I placed my first order with PcNation on March 8th, 2004 for a Samsung Syncmaster 172x LCD panel. For a price of $600, I was paying a little bit more than what most other places were charging, yet I thought it was worth it for the “0 dead pixel guarantee” PcNation offers to its customers…or so I thought.
Having received the first LCD monitor, I quickly spotted a dead pixel in the center which would always stay on a bright blue. I quickly boxed it up and called customer service for an RMA #. They told me that they'd have to send me the RMA form via email for me to fill up. Fine, I filled up the form several minutes later and emailed it back.
It only took them a day to cross-ship a new LCD--I was surprised. Anyhow, I received the monitor just yesterday, and again, a dead pixel that always stays on blue in the center. What the hell, I thought? I called up customer service AGAIN, and waited on hold while she went to speak to a supervisor, I think. Several minutes later, she comes back and informs me that a new monitor can be cross-shipped but that this would be the last time and that she was sorry that she couldn't get the monitor out the way **I** liked it.
The way ***I*** like it?? I like it FREE of defects! I also like it when a company honors its guarantee. I accepted to pay a higher price at PcNation for this LCD than what most other vendors charge BECAUSE of this guarantee: to replace any LCD that arrives with dead pixels. If I hadn’t cared about dead pixels, I would have ordered from J&R who has the LCD for a price of only $520 after a J&R only mail in rebate, instead of the $600 I paid at PcNation.
To summarize: their $600 price tag is only justified if they hold up to their end of the bargain, which is to replace LCD's with bad pixels. Otherwise, why am I paying a good $80 above what other vendors charge? It's not their fault that the LCD's are arriving with dead pixels, but it is their obligation to uphold their end of the deal..
We'll see what happens when the 3rd LCD comes...
