For some reason it was sent with no signature required and apparently the package was left on the porch of the condo without any notification to anyone. Still awaiting information on what to do about this, as FedEx claims it was delivered and only pays claims to the seller if it was lost. The transaction itself went smoothly up until delivery, but I'm awaiting information on what to do next."
"I was absolutely blown away at the speed they operated at to get my questions answered, order fulfilled, and shipped to my doorstep located across the country from where they're located.
a.) Email response: I had a question about some of the products they were sending, and I got an email response within 2 hours of my initial email to them.
b.) Though I placed my order late in the day (about an hour before they closed) for an Asus P4P800-Deluxe motherboard, P4-2.8Ghz FSB 800 CPU (retail box), two sticks of 512MB PC3200 RAM, and a DVD+/-RW, they were *still* able to package everything together and had FexEx pick up the order later that evening.
c.) Free FedEx ground shipping. And guess what? It arrived on a Saturday (8/24) as stated in their email. Four days for the package to ship across the US ... I don't even believe regular postal mail can do it this fast!
The package arrived in great shape; everything was packaged with precision care, and I had my new computer system assembled and up and running by evening.
Overall, I was extremely impressed with their speed and professionalism in running their business. This was my first time ordering from them (I learned about them via pricewatch.com and this website), and it definitely won't be the last. Thank you!"

Everyone has had to call a company and have the guy at the other end not care and/or treat you like your stupid; you will not have this happen with PCSS. "I ordered my ATI Radeon 9800 PRO AIW Saturday night 8/16/03 but due to unavoidable circumstances, the popular product was delayed. I received honest and timely responses to all inquiries on my order. Tom from PCSS was extremely polite and went out of his way to fullfill my order, namely keeping me up to date as he gets new information and upgrading my shipping option at no extra charge.
Tom emailed my tracking number at 7AM today. He must work 24/7 b/c I received replies from him w/in a couple of hours after each of my inquiries ... during office hours, after midnight, and today before the store even open.

The only reason I ordered from this site was because I thought they had a *retail* Western Digital 120 GB SE hard drive. I order it as a single item, as I'm getting the rest of the parts for my computer from another site, and pay $16 for overnight shipping. The page with the item said that the HDD came with a WD 3-year warranty. Nowhere on the site did it mention that the drive was OEM. And then I get the drive. And it's OEM. And I've wasted $16, because I could've just grouped it with the other order I placed at the site that *stated clearly* that their hard drives were OEM. Actually, I wasted more than that; the drives were $14 cheaper at the other site. Thanks. Really.

On their site, this company claims that this hard drive: http://www.pcsupplysource.com/itemdesc.asp?CartId=ACCWARE-15149341EXCFZ406&ic=HDIDE%2DWD%2D1200JB&cc=&tpc= comes with the *Manufacturer's Warranty.* This is why I took it that this was a retail drive - Western Digital does not give warrantys for their OEM drives, as far as I knew. When I recieved it, I emailed Western Digital asking them if perhaps I was mistaken. I was not. WD said that they do not offer warrantys on their OEM drives, and so therefore, this company is guilty of FALSE ADVERTISING.
I recieved an email shortly after posting this from PC Supply Source saying that they did nothing wrong and that if I changed my rating on here to a more flattering one that they would give me store credit. I said no, and told them about the email WD sent me. They still did not admit to doing anything wrong.
I installed the hard drive and found that it was defective. I asked for a full refund on the grounds that it was not the product that was advertised, and that it didn't work. They refused to refund my shipping but said to send it back and that if they found that it didn't work, they would refund the rest of my money. I sent it back with the RMA number, and a week later I emailed them asking for the status of the drive. I got a response saying that it was being tested and to give them two or three more days to finish the process.
Five days later, I had recieved no notification of what was going on, nor a credit to my account for the $117 they promised me if the hard drive passed their testing. I emailed them. A week later, nothing. I emailed them again. Still nothing. Today I sent them yet another email and if I do not recieve a response by tomorrow I will have to call them. The problem with calling them, which I had done before when I asked about getting an RMA, was that the operators do not speak very good English and for a matter like this I wanted to make sure I understood what they were saying.
I will update this as the matter continues.
September 20th: It has been several days and I still have not recieved a credit or reply by email. I have sent them one last email informing them of my intent to file a claim with my bank with them, as well as contact the New Jersey Attorney General and the BBB if I do not see the full refund in my account by next Friday (allowing for five business days for the credit to be processed if they credit it this Monday).
Semptember 22nd: Called PC Supply Source and asked why I had not yet recieved a refund for the hard drive. The woman I talked to had me on hold for ten minutes before asking me again to wait a little longer; they were looking for the hard drive. Five minutes later she said she'd have to call back later today or tomorrow because they were unable to *find* the hard drive.
September 23rd: Got a call back; they managed to find the hard drive. The woman promised me I would have my money back within 2-3 days.
September 25th: Finally have the money back in my account. That took what, a month and a half? Never buy from these people, they have no idea what they're doing and they try to scam you at the same time."
