"I ordered a barebones miniPC which turned out to be defective. I requested an RMA and returned the unit. It took almost 4 weeks to get the replacement unit, and when I got it back, they ended up sending back the same exact unit, still broken. I called back to complain, and their support told me I now need to do a return with the manufacturer. I am now trying to get them to do a return for everything ordered, have been on the phone with them for hours so far. Not very happy with their RMA support."

"I ordered a video card from Page Computers on 12-30-06. I received it on 1-11-06. I had read prior reviews from dissatisfied customers, which made me nervous about ordering from them, but their price was excellent. I did email them and finally received an email back, explaining that their phone lines and email system had been down for awhile. I am quite satisfied with the service I received, despite having to wait a bit for the shipment."

"NEVER buy from these people. Their return policy is a joke. I ordered and item on 11/28/06. The following week I recieved the wrong item. I called and was told to watch mt email for a return ok. 1 week later it did not come. I called again. I was then told I needed to give them the UPC code. I did. They said watch the email. 2 weeks later I called and told them that I was contacting my credit card company. They said they would send an ok in 3 days. I waited.....When my return ok finally came, I returned the item and told them to issue my a credit. As of today 1/1/07 I have heard nothing."

"Ordered a Pentax K10D DSLR Kit with lens for the really low price of $879 shipped. They had the lowest price on Pricegrabber and since I had ordered a camera bag from them before, I figured they were legit. Received a call from the them the following day asking to verify the credit card since my address was slightly different from the one on file with my CC company. The customer service reps were quite responsive and seemed to know what was going on. Even when I called back to correct something else, I was talking to live person within 2-3 minutes. They shipped the camera out on the 15th and I received it today, the 19th. (I selected ground shipment to save $10) I definitely can't speak for the experience of other customers, but this experience has been nothing but excellent for me. I'd definitely order from them again, but I don't have any money left after this purchase.

EDIT: The camera I received from them was defective even though it was brand new. No fault of PageComputers. I've been trying to get an RMA for the last 2 weeks with limited success. According to their website, they're supposed to e-mail you with a shipping label once you file for a RMA. No such label has arrived in my e-mail although after 2 weeks of e-mailing them, I've at least received a RMA number on their website. At this point, I'm giving them another day or two and then I'm planning to ship the camera back on my expense just to get it over with. The 10% restocking fee for defective merchandise is a bit of a downer although there's no fee if you file for store credit or an exchange. All in all, I'm less satisfied with their handling of this issue, but will reserve judgment until everything is resolved.

Update 1/30/07: So I finally received a return label via e-mail from them. The camera was shipped back to them and according to the UPS website, received by their RMA department on 1/16/07. After multiple e-mails, I still have not received a definitive answer or refund. In fact, their customer service line goes unanswered constantly and there's no option to wait it out. After about 30 seconds, the machine says to use their web support form online and hangs up on you. This is very different from what I experience before Christmas. I'm thinking they ramped up on customer support staff for the holidays and then went back to their routine of poor customer service after the holiday orders were over. I'd advise most people to stay away from this company unless it's an indestructible item you're ordering that can't possibly be defective. If you have any problem, support just isn't there to help you out.

UPDATE 2/7/07: My returned item still reads as in progress on their website. They also changed their wording on their website regarding defective returns. Previously, they listed that no restocking fee would be charged if no replacement was available. Now, it appears you'll pay 10% for defective returns or 15% for non-defective returns, unless you opt for store credit which I would highly advise against. I finally called my credit card company and had them reverse the charge. I'm sure the CC company will have the same difficulty contacting a live human at Pagecomputers which should strengthen my side of the story in this matter.

"I ordered a scale ($100) on the 9th of Nov, the Page website said it was in stock. Around the 14th of Nov I checked the status on the web and it said in-process. I waited a couple of more days and checked back and it still said the same thing. I called that evening and was told it was with the warehouse and the status had not been updated. I waited a few more days with no status change and I called again and was told it had shipped but they couldn't give me a tracking number because the warehouse was in a different time zone and it was closed. I waited another three to five days and the website still said in-process. I called again, this time I was told that there was a problem with the shipping the other day but it had now shipped, once again I got no tracking number and the warehouse closed story. I waited a few more days and the status still had not changed. So I called early in the morning on the 28th of Nov, so the warehouse couldn't possibly be closed, and was told that the scale was not in stock. So here I was waiting for almost 20 days to receive a scale that supposedly shipped twice only to find out it was never even in stock. I requested a refund on the 28th by phone, and on the 29th by email. I received an email from Page on the 29th saying it would be 5-7 business days for my refund. When the 5 days went by I called just to make sure things were progressing and they said the refund was sent to some other department and should be in my account the next day or so. Guess what...NOTHING! Since then I have now had two chat sessions with cust serv. and both times was told to wait 5-7 MORE business days. So at this point I am tired of waiting for my refund, which I assume is an electronic transfer. Funny how it only took one day to process when I ordered the item; an item I later found out was not even in stock. So basically they took my money for an item they did not have...strung me along with, what I consider outright lies…and now they don't seem to have the time to refund my money. The next time I do an Internet search for something, regardless of how much cheaper it may be at Page Comp, I will spend the extra cash and buy it elsewhere."

"I should have checked Page Computer's rating here before placing an order. After one week of placing an order for a motherboard it had not yet been shipped (despite being billed the day of the order). I e-mailed them to cancel my order, and they were quick to do so. My cancellation was confirmed on the 27th, but took until December 8th for them to actually refund the order.

I have never been able to get ahold of them through their "live chat" service. My favorite (and quite reputable) dealer was out of stock on the item, but I should have waited for them to get it back in stock and avoided all of this nonsense.

Getting everything days before I expected them – PRICELESS.

On Friday Nov 10 at 4:00 PM, I order all my stuff. Since it was late Friday, I basically did not expect anything to happen until Monday. Monday morning 11/13, I got a call from Page. Because the order was more than $2000, PageComputer needed to check up my identity with the credit card company to make sure this was a legitimate transaction. (THIS IS EXCELLENT). By Thursday, I got my Plasma TV via FEDEX and Friday I got my 3 accessories. I am one happy customer. I will buy from PageComputer again and again and I will recommend it to family and friends.

"If you choose to order from Page Computers, you need to know in the back of your mind that you may never get the product you order. The "in-stock" label you see on the web site means nothing. They will also not inform you that the product is back ordered until you wait several days AFTER your credit card has been charged and then decide to call them to check on the order status.

If you still decide to order from Page Computers I would give you this advice. Call them after your order status says "Invoiced" to make sure they actually have the product and will be shipping it to you. The fact that the website says it's "in-stock" and they charge your card means nothing.

I now remember why I use NewEgg.

"AVOID THIS STORE LIKE THE PLAGUE. I ordered a video card for the new computer I was building. They charged my credit card less than 12 hours later. On 11-28-06 I made 3 attempts to contact Customer Service online and finally got someone who told me their warehouse was having "inventory issues," but she could have it shipped from another warehouse and I would receive an email by the morning of 11-29-06 with a tracking number. No email received the next day, so I try to contact online CSR again. Site shows order in PARTIAL (item ready for shipment) but no tracking number. Second attempt to get CSR is successful, and he tells me the order was cancelled and I was sent an email yesterday to confirm this. He also states that they attempted to call me, but since the only phone I have provided them and own is my cell, which I wear, this was a blatant lie. The email I had them forward to my work address explicitly states, "We have not charged your credit card." My card clearly shows a charge of $607 placed by Page Computers on 11-23-06. This company makes no issue of lying through their teeth about any of their business practices. In fact, a search of their site pulls up a document stating 14 reasons for purchasing from them being their online store ratings. Attempts to rate the store on the sites provided will not allow new reviews. Ironic? Right now I have a computer sitting in my living room with no way to use because this company won't provide the product they took my money for."

"Ordered the item on 11/01 and my credit card was charged right away. My order stayed in the 'in process' status for four business days (they are closed Sat & Sun). I called on Tuesday 11/07 and they said I would get me the tracking number the next day. To my surprise the package showed up the next day before I got the tracking number. I noticed they had upgraded the shipping from ground to next day. I my case they just need to update the order status in timelier manner so you don't sweat it out after reading some of these reviews. Overall it took six days from the date I ordered to get the package. This is as good of performance as I have received from other on-line buying experiences. "

"Made the order for item# 981665 for $58.43 (IN Stock); what was sent was item# 1115992 for $59.94(Back Ordered)... go figure.

Right now I am in 13th business day of "7 to 10 business days" for a FULL refund. I have refused to pay - "If you will place a new order with us online and you opt for refund on your return, the restocking/handling fee for your return will be waived." - as the mistakes were not mine.

Initially I had asked for 'confirmation' that the item WAS an "R2.0" and wastold that a sales representative would get back to me ... four days and no rep. I made the order based on the tech specs for this motherboard - I received the 'GREEN' version that was back ordered ...

If your order goes rioght, you are lucky ... if not, well so much for that. Getting PageComputers.com to reply and getting a refund within their stated timeframe of '7 to 10 business days' is a whole 'nother story.
