"Honestly I don't remember how I found this company or the site...I might have been searching for "overclock" or some hardware or maybe it was a "PriceGrabber" type search...not really sure! But when I found it I bookmarked it right away (and so should YOU!!) and came back to it many times....

I've never (and at this time...still haven't) "built" my own computer...I've got parts from all sorts of places but I want to say that Performance-PC's (http://www.performance-pcs.com" are terrrific!

I sent e-mail on a weekend and had responses that same weekend. I asked questions..got answers right back. I've NEVER had such nearly (within the limits of e-mail) instantaneous response from a vendor. No "form letter", no "Your post has been received" sort of BS. Real commments from a very real person on the other end.

The prices are very competitive...the website very easy to navigate, and the selection seems pretty good to me (although I am VERY new to modding or overclocking or any of that...this is my FIRST). Did I get everything from them? No...but I never figured I would from any single source vendor on this project...about 4-5 I guess, but a LOT of what will make my new 'puter SPECIAL (and techy-wise quick and good) came from these guys.

Shipment arrived a whole DAY earlier that projected......during the 2003 Holiday Season too!

I actually had asked for a few things....fan filters....small ticket items...than on my final invoice were corrected (in hand..in pencil) by a REAL person who also let me know....I did not need filters for exhaust fans!!! (Well.....duh, guess I should have figured that one out!) I'm impressed..rather than send me useless junk...they trimmed my order..saving a very few bucks btw..but kept me from buying something I did not need!!! VERY KEWL!!

I bought a Kingwin case that they sold as "modified" by them...but asked for a different fan cover..they apparently had to RE-modify to meet my specs...I'm lookin...but I don't see a charge on my invoice for that....thanks Hank!!!

All in all......and I could go on...my only regret in dealing with these guys is that I can probably only reccommend them to others..don't know when I'll need to purchase like a coupla hundred bucks of stuff from them again!

....but I will get a new heat sink from them again soon!!

Check these guys out...discover the wonder and mystery of dealing with REAL customer service...these guys are like dealing with the "mom 'n pop" store.......over the internet!!
