"There are several negative reviews for PPCS and these should be taken seriously. Clearly they have been working on their customer communication issues, because I received good and polite service.

You never know how good a companies customer service is until they make a mistake. I ordered several parts including a heat sink and custom cables.

The custom cables are great, and show good quality (not great, as they are hand made... but better than the hand made cables I make). The heat sink I ordered ended up being an older version than the version advertised on their website. I sent them an e-mail detailing the problem and they responded immediately. I sent them a photo of the box and product. I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending it back, so they asked me what I thought was a fair remedy. I responded with what I thought was fair, and they approved.

All this happened after 5 PM Eastern Time and over about an hour.

Clearly PPCS are committed to good customer service. I think the areas they have faltered that are detailed in other reviews have either been exceptions, or resolved.

Please note that the Heat sink I ordered (Baram 2010, received Baram) has no part number, bar code, or other identifying mark on the box other than the product name so it is a very easy mistake to make, and not a sign of systematic laziness or poor QC. In short, the part number (not description), said Baram. They shipped me a Baram. I am sure they are taking action now to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I will order from them again.

"Everything arrived in perfect condition, complete and with all my requests fulfilled. There was even some barbs that i did not order (im not sure if its part of one of my orders) but if this is an extra then thank you :)

Will definitely order from your store again! much more reliable than others around. Will also recommend you to some friends/

"The order number below is my one successful purchase with Performance PCs. I picked up in person, and they even called me to make sure I would make it on time. However, when I returned home, I found that my card had been charged twice, once for an authorization and once for the invoice, reducing my available funds to 0. I wrote their cust. serv. and the response back was that the guy who handles that is out on vacation until next week, don't worry in a week it will come off of your card. Well, I let that experience slide and decided to put another order together...

Since I am not allowed to share the verbatim email (look else where for this review, it is out there on the web) I will summarize.

I tried to make my second purchase on 8/15/11. I picked out approximately $150.00 worth of fittings, filters, adapters, etc. When placing the confirmation of the order, it was kicked back because of a conflict with the billing address, which I had just moved, so I made the appropriate change and tried to resubmit. I was then alerted that I had insufficient funds for the purchase.

I check on my credit card site and there is an authorization for my order amount which has drained the available funds. I wrote PPCs customer service to ask them to please contact the credit card company to release the authorization so I could make the order again. The response back is a very curtly worded retort, amounting to, we didn't charge you, if your card says it was us than it is your card company's problem, not us.

Yes, the card was not "charged" by your company, but trying to make a purchase on your site caused an authorization, which with a simple phone call could be released and I can then make my purchase, at which point I also provided both addresses associated with the card and requested that they just rerun the order.

The next response, back is that they are too busy to handle this, sorry. This is where things went really sour, because quite frankly being too busy to handle a flubbed transaction that is adversely affecting a customer is unacceptable. It is part of doing e-commerce to "handle" these sorts of issues and if you can't, then maybe internet retail is not the business for you. I really just wanted to get my order through and pay for my product. I guess they didn't want/need my money.

I will be the first to admit, I got pretty angry. After trying to patronize this store, I did not receive an order, I was out $150 for at least a week (we will see how fast amscot will default the authorization, but history tells me it will be a week), and I was treated by Cust.serv. like I was a joke and not worth their time.

I can just hope that someone may read this and decide to go to another retailer instead. Good luck PPCs, if you continue to treat people like this I don't see a very bright future for your company. Btw, I hope you found my invoice by now, seeing as you tried to get this review removed by telling ResellerRatings that my order # was invalid; they seemed to believe my receipt and as you can see my post has been reinstated. Nice try!

"They have a huge selection of watercooling equipement which is what i like about these guys.

but, two of the waterblocks that I ordered from them had incorrect screws. I sent them an email which they responded back to right way and said that they would find out what the screws were and send them asap. nine days later i still haven't heard from them and sent them an email to either send me the screws or give me a refund, or i'll be forced to do a charge back. they sent me back an email saying that what i fail to realize is that this happens all the time. I responded back saying that what they fail to realize is that i didn't ask for an excuse, i just wanted the correct screws... they sent me out the screws that day...
but now they have me marked as a "bad customer" in thier system and have closed my account. I found this out because i just tried to order a few items from them today.

i guess they only want to deal with thier "happy" customers.

"I placed an order on Aug 2, 2011 for Compression Fittings and Adapters. There were three adapters missing in the package. The package was not opened upon receipt nor did it have any signs of tampering. I was able to contact Customer Service and they are now sending me the three missing items. Thank You PPCs. "

"I bought 4 clearance heat sinks very cheap price one day & next day on there site saw somthing else so i called to have 2 orders combined they did it but they weren't happy about it they told me people were doing this a bunch of times a day which i did not believe i believe there a good company but there like the soup nautzi on sinefield you cause a small problem you gunna here about it i believe i was talking w the boss man there. running a business small or large is not easy i have a small company( my self) but you have to be nice to your customers even if there wrong or misunderstand etc & willing to fix problems ( because they pay your bills !) if not they will avoid you and might tell others to avoid you if you are impolite nasty testy. now if theres abuse thats differant theres two sides to every story this order was back on 7/3/2010 not a lot of money involed and products were great deals & brand new condition i wrote this for customer& company to see live & let live ."

"When they make a mistake and you call them on it and want them to correct it, they get upset and list you as a bad customer. When all you want is the item you paid for. I had gotten items from them on a number of orders, but when ONE order got messed up by them, then all crap broke out. Service sucks and they blame the customer. I wish I would remember to post here then. They suck when it comes to customer service.

This is what I am talking about. They didn't do what they said and blame it on someone else. I don't care about future orders as there is many more stores out there. This is to warn others if you place an order with then beware. They suck. While would I have to said I would do a charge back if they shipped the items they said they would.

"I made an order and paied for it. After some time I couldn't log in to the site. "Restore password" didn't work (it does not work at all to my mind). I send some letters to ****@**** from another account (it was registered specially to connect team), from mailbox of main account and got no respose. I tried to call by phone, but all I could hear is autoreplier asking me to connect by mail.

Update: Finally I got response after my post here. It was said that all my letters had been replied, but got smtp error. not sure that really all letters were replied but since that reply all problems were resolved very quickly. good job at last. tnx

"Excellent website, good prices, and excellent response-time to all emails sent. I accidentally ordered the wrong part, Called them up the next day and the correction was quick, painless, and at NO EXTRA CHARGE!!! Shipping was crazy-fast. Had one issue with the wrong item being sent and that was taken care of quickly and satisfactorily over email. Will definitely do business with them again."

"hey guys/gals i just recently placed an order because i was having a heat issue with my 360 slim and i thought ah what the heck i will liquid cool / water cool my slim . So i asked a friend of mine and he said " yea its more than likely that the slim may have issues with heat later on in the process because more and more games are getting advanced and may slow down the combined cpgpu ! I have my old 360 liquid cooled and still works . I thought i would buy from your company as other companys want close 400$ for all the same stuff i bought from your site . Thank you very much Performance PCS you saved me lots of money yet i think in this economy id rather burn some money . I see Florida is warm . Its not bad up here either .
