I'm 20 and I live Portugal. About 2 months ago I decided to buy a laptop, because I'm in a Informatic degree in University.I saw this fellows, PowerNotebooks.com and their reviews here. You should understand how nervous I was because I tranfered the money from wire transfer before they sent or even build the computer. After some troubles, for my fault, because I wanted them to ship the computer to a friend of mine in the US so she could bring it to me when she come to Portugal, a few weeks from then. "This is my second purchase of a Sager Notebook from powernotebooks.com. My first notebook purchase was five years ago, and was for myself. I'm happy to say that I have yet to find another laptop in five years that I would trade for my five year old Sager. It's performance still beats all laptops I've seen.

My first order with powernotebooks.com went very smooth and was a nice experience. All my communication with powernotebooks regarding my order gave me the impression that they were genuinely concerned about making sure I was 100% satisfied with the service and product.

"Around the time the notebook was to be shipped, I called powernotebooks to upgrade my shipping. I changed from GROUND to 2 DAY AIR and accepted the new costs. Later that day they called me back, informing me that they would be upgrading my shipping for FREE, upgrading my AC Adapter (they just receieved new ones) and refunding me $16 for an item that had lowered in price. "I did a fair amount of research and decided on Power to buy my Sager due in part to the ratings on this site and comments from users on the Sager forums. Also in a line item comparison between Power and PC torque Power was a BBB member and PC torque wasn't. It seems like a small thing but it provides for some form of accountability.
As far as the actual mechanics of the purchase everything went as I expected. I was informed via e-mail at every step of shipping and got a follow-up e-mail. I really liked the phone confirmation of purchase before they submitted my credit card.
