"I purchased the 5670 from www.powernotebooks.com a little over two weeks ago. I placed an online order on the 7th and received it on the 9th. I wired the money to Powernotebooks and had absolutely no problems. They notified me just as soon as they received the money. And after I received the notebook Donald emailed me to ask if I was satisfied with the 5670.

I emailed Donald, the owner, many questions over a period of one month. He responded to each question promptly.

I got the system w/ the 2.53 P4, 512DDR, dvd/cd-r combo, integrated wireless network card, 15" UXGA w/ Radeon 9000 128MB system, and the dual battery setup. This is an incredible notebook. I pack this system to school w/ me almost everyday.

The UXGA screen is the best LCD I have ever seen on a notebook computer. The viewing angles are incredible. Everyone sitting next to me or standing above me can see the screen perfectly. I've watched Starwars EII and there is no ghosting. I have played Splinter Cell and it plays and looks wonderful. I just completed a 59 page manual in Word and I never had a problem reading the text in 1600x1200 screen resolution.

Five years ago I owned a Sony w/ a Pentium 75, where I worked as a sales rep. I used a Dell Inspiron 7000 then later upgraded to a Dell I8000. This Sager is head and shoulders above anything I have ever used.

I am getting a little over 3 hours on the dual battery when I am type in Word or Excel. Watching a movie is not problem, and I still had ample battery life—approx. 20% left. I would recommend that you purchase the secondary battery if you don't have access to an outlet.

I had a few questions about the Bios setup and Donald referred me to www.sagernotebooks.com and call Ted, Jerry, or Alan to get my question answered. These guys are Powernotbooks personal technical support technicians. So getting prompt support is not a problem.

Powernotebooks is a great online company, Donald is wonderful to work with, and I will definitely order from Powernotebooks in the future. And I will buy more Sager notebooks when the need arises. "

Since they won't accept international credit cards (something that many internet places don't do but something has to be done about it!) we agreed on using Western Union.

They mention on their website that they work with bank wire transfers but let me tell you that for many things Western Union is much better.
A wire transfer usually takes from 2 days to a week to arrive. Western Union takes minutes!!
If you're buying anything less than, say, $1700, Wester Union is probably your best bet because if you sum what your bank would charge you plus the $25 that PowerNotebook's bank charges them, it will be at least as much as Western Union plus will take much longer for them to get the money.

In my particular case, had I dont a wire transfer, there was no assurance that they would have gotten the money in time and my boss would have left the US without my computer.

Anyway, in sum I'm very pleased with their customer service. I chose them because I saw other very good reviews on this site."

The Notebook itself. I purchased the latest model they had to offer, being I don't like settling for second best. What's most surprising is that even though my notebook is far more advanced in every way possible, it's still only a little bit more dearer than the other PC manufacture gurus.

Be very aware though, there's only a few other online businesses that also sell the same machines as PowerNotebooks.com only their prices are sky high and they don't have good sales representatives like the team at Powernotebooks.com
