When I got the laptop, it came in perfect shape, and is a joy to use. Before I got my laptop, I thought the case that comes with the machine would be kind of crappy, but I was pleasantly surprised by its quality. It isn't huge, but I didn't want a big one anyway. It holds everything I need that goes with the machine (mouse, ethernet cable, A/C power cord, some CD's, Floppy's, and the floppy drive), but just barely. If you want to carry more stuff than that get a bigger case.
