It is now 3/29/08 and I have yet to have a problem with the laptop. I ordered my system on a Monday and it was at my house the next Monday.
It was actually shipped out Thursday of the same week as my order which was outstanding seeing as when I bought the system it was the newest on the market. Powernotebooks customerservice is the best I have run into out of any company. When talking to Kenny he ran me through everything I would and would'nt need for how I would be using my system. "Five years ago I was looking for new laptop. I visited a lot of retail stores.
I couldn’t configure a laptop the way I wanted. These laptops were also loaded with Bloat-Ware
The Warranties were only 3 to 12 months.
I started looking on the web for a laptop that I could configure – I found a few on-line businesses with Powernotebooks.com being one. My next question was which business to purchase from.
I found resellerratings.com on the web. I looked up these businesses and viewed the customer comments.
I read more positive and very satisfied comments about Powernoterbooks.com then the others
I looked up Powernotebooks.com and called Donald Stratton, asked him several questions then told him what I was looking for. Donald asked if I could hold off a week as there was a better laptop coming that they would meet my needs. Donald called me a week later and asked me to look at their web site and look at the C3:17 specs. I looked at the C3:17 and put in the order with Donald.
Now it’s time to upgrade to a new laptop, went to their web site one night and configured the PowerPro P11:15 to my liking and printed out this info. The next morning I called Donald Stratton, to my surprise Donald remembered me ordering the C3:17 laptop. Donald told me that the price of the P11:15 laptop and parts had dropped overnight and he is pasting this savings ($110) on to me. I ordered this laptop and wired my money to them, after they received my money Charlotte called me saying they charged me for an item ($45) that was standard with this laptop. They refunded this money to me. One week later I rec’d the new laptop (P11:15).
With both laptops from Powernotebooks everything worked, very nice laptops, boxes were padded very well, got what I ordered , NO Bloat-Ware also got couple e-mails from Donald making sure I was satisfied.
My next laptop will be purchased from Powernotebooks. As I had two wonderful experiences with them.They have knowledgeable sales and tech people that explain things. They get the orders correct. Great follow up after the sale also. They also return e-mails & phone calls within minutes. Great customer service.
