"I recently got a PowerPro I 17:7 laptop from PowerNotebooks. They are fantastic. After many months of researching and agonizing over what I wanted, a friend told me about this company. They offered a terrific high end laptop at a very good price. My only reservation was that the graphics card was a bit behind the times. For the price, I decided to go forward. While ordering, I decided just to ask if they had anything in the works. They did and they immediately upgraded my order to the newer model and it even ended up saving me a little over the older model. They talked me through the possible specifications and advised me on upgrades not to get. I have never had a merchant help me figure out my needs then suggest I not get a particular set of bells & whistles. They actually cared. I had ordered the laptop for a trip and PowerNotebooks made sure that it arrived in time. Again, fantastic service. The best part for me is that this unit came with a 3 year complete warranty without any extra cost to me. Based on my heavy use of the laptop since the moment of its arrival, I doubt I will have to worry about the warranty. These guys are now my number one recommended laptop seller to friends, family, and colleagues. "

"I myself work in a call center which values customer satisfaction and service above all else and I have dealt with sellers and technical support phone lines before with various companies. Powernotebooks.com provided me with what I would consider the highest quality of customer care that I myself found to be very impressive. The gentleman I spoke with answered all my questions carefully and geared to what I was seeking in my new computer. "When I first purchased my laptop, I was quoted a 12-15 day back-order. That was ok, as I knew the unit I was ordering was very popular, and back-ordered everywhere. The staff at Powernotebooks.com kept me up to date on the status of my order, and even allowed me to change my order from having no OS on the laptop to adding Vista Business just a couple of days before it shipped out, with no hassle at all. To my surprise, it ended up shipping out just 5 business days after my order was processed! Much quicker than the 12-15 days I was originally quoted.

I was also very impressed with the customer service I received. The Powernotebooks.com employees I spoke with were very efficient and very friendly, not just fake-friendly like a lot of other companies are. I even received an email from them a few days after I got my laptop asking how I liked it. This being my first laptop purchase ever, I'm extremely impressed, and have already recommended them to several of my friends looking for new laptops.

"Wonderful company! I ordered a Sager 2090 and did a wire-transfer which went off without a hitch. Though my computer was backed up for some time due to high demand, Donald constantly kept me informed of the status and answered any questions I had about the product. He also truthfully led me through the purchasing process, telling me areas where I could change to increase performance and save me money. Overall, an EXCELLENT experience, would purchase from again!"

"Wow. I must say I'm very impressed with powernotebooks.com! From the time I first expressed an interest in ordering a notebook from them, to the receipt of my shipping confirmation, they have been very helpful and FAST.

I have ordered notebooks from DELL in the past, personal, and on behalf of our office, and I must say that after dealing with powernotebooks.com, I fully appreciate the difference of a personal and courteous sales team.

Aside from the excellent customer service, these guys are FAST! I ordered on Monday, my funds were processed and the notebook built and shipped by Tuesday, and delivered by Thursday! It would have been delivered by Wednesday except that I chose 2nd business day mail.

The other thing that impressed me was their consideration of potential issues. They contacted me to make sure I wanted it delivered to my residence, informing me that the delivery would require my signature. I was grateful for this notification, and they happily changed the shipping address to my office.

"What can I say. If you need a laptop computer, Powernotebooks.com is the place where you should buy the machine. The folks that work at this company are wonderful. They are responsive to both e-mail and phone calls. The actually listen to what you have to say and answer your questions. I can truly say that customer satisfaction is the one and only concern. No tricks, no games. Just great service.

I sent Donald Stratton an e-mail on July 9, 2007 because I had some questions on the Sage NP2090. I got a response the same day. I call Donald the next day but he was not in the office. Ron Braid took my call and said Donald was up most of the night working on their web site and would be in later in the day. Ron told me I could wait and talk with Donald or he could try and help me.

Ron was great. He was very knowledgeable. I told him that my son needed a laptop for college. He would be in an engineering program and he would be running some cpu intensive applications. My son wanted the NP2090 which was not available at the time. Ron recommended another computer that may fit my son needs but after we talked about the requirements, Ron agreed that the NP2090 would be the best machine. He said it would be at least a four week wait because it was a popular machine.

Donald sent me an e-mail the same day apologizing for missing my phone call but noted that Ron had talked with me and did I have any other questions. Donald is the head of the company and he is apologizing for missing my phone call?? Now that is unbelievable but that the type of company that this is, customer focused.

I order the laptop on September 12, 2007. When I ordered the machine, the web site had a message that said it would be four to six weeks because they were on back order from the manufacturer. I got an e-mail from Kenny Gregory on September 20. 2007 informing me that the laptop had been shipped. I was really surprised because I didn't expect it to ship for at least four weeks. The machine arrived at my home on September 23, 2007 but I was not home. You have to sign for the machine. UPS returned on September 24, 2007 and delivered that machine. It worked fine right out of the box. My first task was to install all the Vista updates on the machine. I guess I could complain about that but it was not a big deal.

On October 8, 2007, Ron Braid sent me an e-mail asking how everything was going with the computer. This was not a mass e-mail, this was a personal e-mail that I answered with a few comments that Ron told me how to solve. These guys read and answer their e-mail.

I will be very honest here. I was afraid to order a laptop on line for obvious reasons but I can say without any doubt, if you need a laptop, get it from Powernotebook.com. The service is outstanding. These guys are customer focused. No games or hard sell. Any company that the owner apologizes for missing your call is a company that you can do business with. My sister is looking to replace her laptop and I sent her to Powernotebooks.com. I told her I worked with Ron but Donald will work with her also.

By the way, my son love the machine! His roommate is a Mac guy and even he is impressed with the machine.

"I originally ordered the sager np9260, however during the order the model production was suspended in favor of the new 9261's. Power Notebooks was very informative and made sure to be in pocket the whole time in case I needed to talk with them about the new configuration, you can call and talk to someone on the phone immediately, no automated rigamarole involved.

To summarize, I'd definitely buy from this company again.

"Powernotebooks.com was great. Donald was especially helpful in explaining any components or software i had questions about. Their team was responsive and helpful at every step of the way. At first i was tepid about using a smaller company but the people at powernotebooks.com made me feel like i was their most important customer, something rare now adays especially with the bigger companies. i was a loyal Dell customer for a long time, but their salesperson knew less than i did, so frustration rather than curiosity lead me to powernotebooks.com, but Donald and the staff quickly showed me there is another way than the "big" guys. to be honest i have had my laptop now for about a month so i have not had to deal with the claims department, and thats a good thing, and if there are any problems i will update this rating, but for the purchasing process, product finalization, and delivery, powernotebooks.com gets top ratings from me and i will definately be makeing further purchases from them in the future. thank you again Donald and your team."

"Being a gaming enthusiast I wanted a laptop which could run most recent games of high settigs. When I made up my mind to buy a laptop my biggest challenge was to find a laptop in decent price range with enough power to play games like Bioshock and Crysis on decent FPS.

I have to admit I was a little hysterical in the beginning when I placed my order with powernotebooks.com, reason being most people dont know about them. So my friends kept telling me that I might have made a mistake for choosing such a company over Dell or HP. But it was just initial hesitation and once I placed my order their representative was alwasy there to help. I always recieved answers to my queries via email in less than 24 hours, which is simply amazing.

The hardware config which i recieved from powernotebooks for around 1500$ would have cost me more than 3000$ from Dell. And it is not even available with HP.

I think i have a top of the line laptop for a very decent price.Bioshock runs at 1024 X 768 High settings (no AA and Vsync off) and gives above 60 fps.

My vote is for www.powernotebooks.com
