"Even though the laptop is on the pricey side, it was well worth it. The support and communications are simply superb --finally, customer support that speaks English. The laptop is top notch -- I like matte surfaces that minimize fingerprints, the display is outstanding -- movies really pop. Got to mention audio -- what a pleasant surprise. First of all, its plenty loud --which wasn't the case with my HP laptop. Second, you can actually hear the stereo effect when watching movies -- the sound literally comes from different directions. I don't know how they do it with the laptop.
The keyboard could be better -- its working now, but I have my doubts long term. I am a computer programmer and I do a lot of typing, so I am kind of sensitive to that. And the DVD drive is definitely on the cheap and flimsy side, but that can be replaced if it ever goes wrong. overall, I love the laptop, would highly recommend to all my friends. And once again, my hat is off to the customer support folks. Oh, and they answered my emails over the weekend. How amazing is that?"
"I looked at another custom computer business, but they felt it too much to answer my questions. Any question I had Puget made sure I got my answers. The other company had a little better price, but I feel that Puget Systems customer service was worth the little extra. If they could not answer questions to get me to purchase from them how could I trust them if I really had a problem. I am completely satisfied with my purchase experience. If I ever need a new computer, Puget Systems is who I would want to deal with. I would recommend Puget Systems to anyone. "
"After having 2 Dell PCs die on me recently, I ordered a Serenity Mini SPCR Edition from Puget. So far, I'm very pleased with the purchase. It's so quiet - it's scary. Like having an electric car drive by instead of one of those old-fashioned internal combustion engines. Great customer service, and shipping went well. I'm in Vancouver, B.C. and I thought there might be some hassles but I avoided paying the ridiculous UPS brokerage charge by clearing the shipment through Canada Customs myself. Also, there was no duty to pay, just HST. My next computer will likely be a Puget System as well."
" My past and present computer purchases with Puget Custom Computers has been an A++ experience without a doubt.
The communication I had with the staff was exceptional, every e-mail or phone call I made was returned with all the information I was looking for and ready to answer any more questions I had.
The staff was very patient with my decisions on the build and giving me great advise on the hardware and parts I could use, all the time keeping my budget in mind.
I highly recommend Puget Custom Computers to anybody looking to build a custom computer. Very professional business.
A pleasure doing business.

"I recently purchased a custom HP desktop for photo editing, but had issues with it. Technical support could not correct the problems and promised a call within 24-48 hours from a case manager. Long story short, I got no call and arranged to return the PC.
Several members of forums I belong to recommended building my own PC (which I've done before) or buying a system from Puget Systems.
I configured a system exactly as I wanted it, priced all the components and then custom configured the exact same PC on Puget's website. For not much more money than it would have cost me, they would build the exact same system, so I placed my order.
I just received my new computer yesterday, and all I can say it that from start to finish, the entire experience was superb.
They reviewed my configuration along with my intended use and agreed that it was a good setup. Along with the order, I had sent some notes explaining that I would add some additional hardware after receiving the system and asked them to do some custom BIOS setting to insure that everything worked correctly.
Throughout their entire process, they constantly make notes and change status on your order which you can view online. After the system was built and tested and just about ready for shipping, one of the techs was concerned about a disk status, so they swapped my new drive for another new drive and re-ran all the tests and diagnostics.
They provide screen captures of all the BIOS settings in case I need to revert back after making a bad change, Along with the PC I received a binder with the results of all the testing and benchmarks they ran, thermal images of the PC showing temperature changes at various processing loads, and a box with all the extra cables, screws, and other parts I could possibly ever need to add or expand the hardware configuration. They also provide the original manufacturer documentation for all the major components (motherboard, video card, DVD, etc.)
From start to finish, this was one of the best buying experiences I've had in a very long time. Puget will be the first place I go the next time I'm in the market for a computer, and will be the company I recommend to anyone looking for a new system."
"I couldn't be happier with Puget. I consider myself a fairly advanced user, however even with that I don't have the time to research every product on the market, much less know what components could possibly complement each other and which wouldn't. Even though I knew what I wanted, I went ahead and contacted the sales team at Puget and was assigned a team member that asked and answered questions over a series of a dozen e-mails.
Even if you aren't a heavy tech user, you can benefit from what Puget offers. Simply by giving them your budget (which can be flexible) and what tasks you'd be using your computer for the most, a quote will be given with very detailed information that included both easy to understand descriptions and technical information. Basically, unless you require a Mac, there is no reason not to use Puget.
It took me a while to find Puget, but they are heads above other "boutique" machine builders, as they tend to overcharge. Also I would avoid the headaches of buying parts and building your own "rig" (which was suggested to me by many of my fellow techie friends; I've done it before and it can work out in the end but the people at Puget really know what they are doing and will put as much or as little into your computer as you want)."
"I cannot overstate my satisfaction with Puget Systems, and the wonderful PC I received not quite twenty hours ago.
First off, the physical build is top-notch: quality parts, quality assembly, and quality packaging for shipping.
Second, the absolutely unparallelled customer service. At every step of the way, I felt that the people handling my order really cared about ME, not just my wallet. My sales rep even made suggestions that LOWERED the cost of my build, without sacrificing the specs in any way. How often to sales reps do THAT, do you think?
Once the computer arrived, and I proceeded with unboxing it, I was even happier, for a few reasons. To begin with, all the various little stickers and such that can be put on a computer case were there - in the bundle of paperwork, NOT stuck t the case. Even their own little inch-square sticker. It'll be MY choice what, if anything, will go on my case. It's a small thing, but it's indicative of how thoughtfully Puget Systems treats it's customers. Added to that, was a three-ring binder with all the benchmarking results, as well as small pictures to put with the names of the technicians who'd put it all together - so I have a face to put with each one. But that's not all, no; they also included all the extra screws, brackets, cables, and so on that the case, CPU, cooler, and other components had come with, but which weren't needed just yet. Should I expand my computer in the future, I won't have to buy third-hand mounting hardware, data cable, and so on.
All in all, I can't think of any way in which my experience could have been improved. Nope; not one single way."
"The computer is build to perfection. My order was handled patiently by Brett with much attention to details. I needed a quiet yet powerful machine. Having myself built computers I particularly appreciated the quality of the build. If I had time to build one I doubt I could have assembled with such fineness. "
"Excellent personal service."
"I bought a 3.0 header card, had some issues with it. Puget went out of their way after 6 months to correct the problem. They have awesome customer service. Most places after 30 days won't help you."
"Very impressed with the purchasing experience, support and quality of the product."
"Ordered the Serenity SPCR edition silent PC and I have to say it's the best computer I've owned. It's as quite or quieter than a laptop, has great quality components, incredibly fast, not pre-loaded with all of the garbage the major PC makers install, and the service at Puget Computers was great. They answered all of my questions, shipped quickly, included a 3 ring binder with the PC that had a restore CD and all of the driver CD's and manuals for all of the components in the computer. I'll definitely buy more computers from them in the future. I have a high end HP workstation at my office but the Puget computer is better and cost less. I'm very happy with the purchase."
"I've had my computer for about two months. All I can say
it is awesome. I order a Spirit which is very quiet
compared to my old computer. It has been flawless.
The internals case cables are clean. The Intel I5K
smokes. Their standard cooling, which is an upgrade over
Intel is a plus. I upgraded to a discrete graphic card
but no super card. The best upgrade I did was an SSD.
I encourage anyone and everyone to get a SSD even if
you need a mega turntable HD for backup storage. SSD's
as so fast. Boot time 30 seconds. Old pc 3 minutes.
Shut down speed about 20 seconds. Programs snap open.
The documentation and back up/restore cd's are a bonus
all organized in a clean binder. Did I pay a little extra?
Yes. But I know this system will give me years of service
and if I have a problem Pudget will be there to help.
For the record my last PC was also a custom built from
a small outfit similar to Pudget interms of quality
parts and build. Other than one HD failure at five years
it was flawless. Turns out the average life of a turntable
HD is about five years.

"Superb packaging and supporting documents--everything laid out very well and neatly labelled so you know where to look right away. Shipping materials and protective packing outstanding, as well as Quality Control. No smudges or handprints or marks on any part of the glass window or computer case---top notch. I bought a high end computer so a tad expensive, but absolutely worth it. It is very quiet, too
Will either buy, or upgrade, my next computer from them for sure!"
""Its nearly 12 months after installing my fourth Puget system in five years of great service from Puget Systems. Last week I've been getting an occasional "error loading operating system" boot error message, went to the Puget web site on SUNDAY, put in a support call back request, expecting a response sometime on Monday. Later on Sunday I found I had a return email from Jeff Stubbers, a Puget Systems tech, with a set of instructions to reset my BIOS setting, which led me to an incorrect boot drive setting, which solved my problem. Jeff you are the man!
Outstanding support like this in these days of diminishing support by other vendors (I spent too many hours on the phone with Dell support trying to get my mother's PC fixed) keeps me coming back to Puget Systems!
Yes - I have fire-breathing Intel i7-3939K 3.2 GHZ, 16Gb RAM, SSD OS drive, liquid-cooled system, but next year when Itel announces their new Wombat SurFire X8 chip I'll be checking Puget's website and asking Santa for a new Puget System.
Thanks John - Thanks Jeff""
