When getting a new computer, I originally planned to purchase from Newegg and build my own, but I opted not to due to past headaches, namely broken/non-working parts. Puget takes care of that. Not only do they check the entire system, they check each component individually. They stress test and monitor system checks. CONS:
Price. You can overpay from Dell/Alienware and for lesser quality parts. You can also go cheaper through other 3rd-party builders, but you pay for quality with Puget, quality that's just in another league, in my opinon.

Overall, while it's pricier than other 3rd parties or building your own, that extra money spent is well worth it. In nearly a year, I haven't had a single problem with my computer, and I wouldn't expect any less given how much they make sure it's in proper working order. Once the computer's in your hands, they continue with top-notch service. I've asked a few questions, and they've responded incredibly quickly. Customer support is very personable and friendly. They were incredibly helpful, willing to do research to provide an informed answer. I have no plans of buying computers from anyone else but Puget."

"Thorough and professional, wonderfully patient customer service by email or phone, very courteous; excellent system in place which allows you to design your own configuration online, with extensive and detailed but very understandable information and advice; I have not seen another computer maker web site with so much information, so articulately and helpfully presented; after purchase, you can "watch" the progress of your system being built, and see everything that is done to it (building, testing, etc.) I needed a computer that was nothing fancy but very quiet, and with Windows XP since I'm not ready to venture on to the new OS; I chose my components accordingly (with the advice and guidance mentioned above), and the computer I have received is what I hoped it would be and so far it is running smooth as silk. They also did a good job of installing the OS for me (I had bought a retail copy of XP and I sent it to Puget). Lastly, I'll mention that I greatly appreciate this company's plain-spoken and open style of communicating and functioning: from real information about the company and its people, to the most useful technical advice. If you're not happy with the big PC retailers and their bewildering and frustrating modus operandi, then you will probably find Puget Custom Computers a very refreshing change."

"This is the second system I've gotten from Puget Systems. The first ran perfectly right out of the box and is still going strong. The second system is even better. Puget helped me develop specs which met my needs ~ I like a really quiet machine that I can use to edit photos and videos. Once again Puget systems made recommendations that sometimes reduced the cost of the final machine. The combination of high quality, personal service and a high quality product makes Puget unique in this market.

"For the past 19-20 years I have been having custom computers built for me. It wasn't until I read reviews and customer's comments that for the first time in all these years,I found a company that takes such pride in their work that I was totally blown away for the first time in my computer building career. These people are the epitome of what consumer custom computer building is all about.
There is no further any company could possibly go as far as every aspect, from ordering to receiving a custom built computer, in every aspect. These people not only use the finest quality parts for their computers, but their service, in every possible way, to assist the customer, is the finest I have ever come across in 20 years and 9 computers later.While you configure your computer, you have such a variety of configurations, the likes of which I have never encountered before. When I was done configuring, then received my personal computer, I was totally blown away at the fact that I spent so little money, yet got such a high end speed demon, that is so physically beautiful, I realized that I made the best choice in working with Puget Custom Computers. They even went so far as to explain every detail each day, as they put together each part, via their website. They even mentioned that they cleaned up the area after work was done. No detail was ever left out. And to boot, they did a barrage of tests and inspected each part over and over again, until everything ran perfectly, as well as doing run thrus as if they were the customer. In other words they pulled out all the stops like I have never encountered before. Dozens of tests were done, many of which I never even heard of. I had many friends over, just to unveil my new piece of sculptured machine. I truly have never seen anything like it, not in my wildest dreams! Truly a spectacle to behold and be proud of! I am soooo happy. I even went so far as to put a heavy duty lock on Green Gables personal room. No one dares go in there without me!
