"The specifications and recommendations on their website were accurate and extremely useful, decision making was made easy. Monitoring the build of the unit was a great need to know type of information. Packing for shipping was outstanding. Documentation and recovery CDs again outstanding. The best of all is the machine itself, which after 30 days of use is everything I wished for in buying this machine. For many buyers the cost might seem pricey, but from my experience with desktops, this machine is top notch. I've not had to use their support because the machine has not even burped. I can strongly recommend Puget Computers equipment.

"First class operation. Their products are all quality items. The review on components is extremely helpful when trying to decide on what to install in your new computer. Packing was superb..custom to your case. Tech support the best I have encountered, William went out of his way to resolve my windows 7 problem when technically he didn't have to. Highly recommend if your in the market for a new computer."
"Puget built the perfect computer for me. You can not hear this thing run (except when the CD\DVD platter spins up). Only top quality components configured efficiently and professionally. No ad-ware, no trial software, not even a company sticker on my computer.
I compared other companies and other products and settled on Puget for their reputation, customer service, and quality products offered. Their price was very competitive with other custom builders that offer service after the sale. I would recommend this firm if you are tired of the same old cookie cutter systems offered by the mass market firms. "
"Great Company! I just got my new computer and never been happier. Excellent customer service, build quality and FAST. "
"Intelligent & thoughtful custom computers. Great experience! These guys know their stuff and work hard to understand your needs. T"
"I was looking for a company to buy a gaming PC from, and I had it boiled down to 3: Puget Systems, Maingear or Falcon Northwest. I chose Puget Systems largely because of the MANY and overwhelmingly positive Resellerratings reviews. Minor considerations were that I didn't like some Maingear revisions, and FN had limited choices and had dropped a bit in rating reviews. To top it all off, I received an e-mail from William George (my sales person) telling me that if I bought during the sale time, PS would provide either free shipping or add an additional year to the standard one year warranty. Sale?? I hesitated for a second, then did what I was going to do in any event and bought my gaming machine from PS. Did I fall for a sales ploy? Hardly, as this company builds premier gaming systems whose quality is second to none. They are a small company doing everything right, and actually growing in a rather weak economy as a result.
After the purchase, I recieved e-mails regarding the build progress, and photo's of the computer (some depicting temperature at peak load). At one point there was a delay in PS receiving a part, and I recieved an e-mail notifying me of same, with an apology for the delay.
I was out of the state for a bit, so I notified William George. PS held the completed unit at my request, and shipped it as soon as I notified him of my return.
Throughout the entire process all of my questions were answered, and Mr. George had more than ample tech experience and product knowledge to advise me and to handle any question I asked. The experience was very smooth, and he was consistently courteous and professional.
I waited to open the box after it arrived, as I wanted a new monitor to complete the experience. When I did unpack the unit, I was pleasantly surprised at the shipping fortification(!!), inside which was my new computer. You could've literally dropped this box from atop a household ladder, and I have no doubt the computer would've survived intact. I read that they had this box specially constucted for this particular case. Nice! Nothing cobbled together and shipped from these guys.
Inside was a box of cables and equipment from the build. The label on one bag read: things.. "you might need today", on the other: things... "you might need for future upgrades", as well as a few miscellaneous items and pamphlets from the case builder, the motherboard and cpu manufacturers. There was also a binder, inside which was all the build/testing/overclocking information, and all of the original disks that came with the components, to include the OS disk and a restore to factory default disk. All nicely packaged in there own page envelopes and slots. (smiley face here).
I opened the system box, and saw that each one of the components were intact and snug in their slots (and spots). The build was extremely neat, and the attention to detail was evident and well carried out.
I hooked up my shiny new computer to it's shiny new monitor, turned it on and it opened onto a beautiful, devoid of bloatware Windows desktop. I can now buy and play those game titles I have been reading about but have been unable to play on my 9 year old system!
No need for superlatives here. I am a happy, very satisfied customer. Buy your computer from Puget Systems. You won't be disappointed.
Just and update: After about 2 years of daily computing, as well as gaming, I am so very happy to say that this system is still rock solid and whisper quiet. Remarkable. What a great company!

"I recently purchased a home workstation from Puget Custom Computers. I have never had a company so thoroughly exceed my expectations. From start to finish, the entire experience was enjoyable.
Over the past few years, I've purchased three Dells, one Sony Vaio, and an Apple MacBook Pro. The Vaio was a disappointment, needing frequent expensive repair. I was generally satisfied overall with both Dell and Apple. I'd have given them both an 8 or 9 for overall satisfaction (of 10), only because I was totally unaware of how high the bar could be raised. In retrospect, I'd give Dell and Apple much lower scores because Puget has surpassed those experiences by such a large margin.
I wasn't necessarily in the market for the cheapest possible deal. My goal was to find a quality system at an affordable price. I wanted something that would last me a few years with a solid upgrade path. I've grown weary of proprietary hardware whose only real purpose is to hinder service and force the replacement of the entire system when a single part becomes obsolete or fails.
On the Puget website, I put together and saved a test build. Over the next several days, I was able to easily retrieve and tweak the build as I researched the individual system components and competitor pricing. I noticed that Puget will retain whatever shipping method you've selected for any possible future return/shipments. I opted for the fancy next-day (9am) shipping since Puget would be picking up the tab if they sent out something DOA.
I placed the order 05/18/2010 and quickly received a confirmation email with a link to monitor my order status. Viewing the Order Details reveals the status for each individual component. Within an hour or so, I was surprised to see they'd accounted for almost all of my system. A couple parts needed to be ordered and they'd arrive over the next 2 days. This is perfectly understandable, remember this is a customer system. There's no way they could have every imaginable part in-stock all the time. The impressive part here was that the website told me exactly what was going on with every part, so I was never wondering. On 05/20, the system was in assembly and testing.
On 05/21 (Friday afternoon), I changed my mind and wanted to change the case fans to allow for more cooling - What if I want to add a second video card next year? Perhaps I'll have retired and start to take my gaming seriously. It could happen.
Even though my system was fully assembled, Puget handled the change without missing a beat. On 05/24 (Monday), testing, QC, benchmarks were completed, and the system was shipped. There were pages and pages of benchmarks and pictures to look through while I waited on the shipping. Puget uses a thermal imaging camera to ensure optimum airflow and cooling (Seriously, how cool is that?). Many of my benchmarks had been run before I swapped out the fans. I took screen-shots anticipating they'd be re-run and change with the new fans. There were changes. Most noticeably, the system is much, much cooler under idle and load conditions.
It arrived 05/25 around 9am, less than 7 days from the order date. I bet if I hadn't changed the fans after it was assembled, it could have gone out on Friday and arrived Saturday (in 4 days).

"This was my first custom PC from Puget Custom Computers and my second custom PC overall. I've also purchased big name brand PCs in the past. Comparet to Puget, my last custom PC looked as though it was built by an amateur.
I chose Puget because their web site made it very easy to configure a high performance system with full featured standard components that have been tested with confirmed compatibility. I also chose Puget because of the glowing comments here and elsewhere on the web.
I've had my system for almost 1 week and I am very happy with it. It's performed flawlessly from day 1. I love that SSD with it's screaming boot time! The internal build quality is a work of art. The packaging was excellent and all the unused parts were neatly contained in a small box along with the documentation. Puget also includes a small binder with a description of the PC, pages of test data, and the software disks.
Working with Jeff at Puget was a pleasure and he helped me design the system to meet my needs. There was never even a hint of high pressure sales and Jeff's response to my emails was always very fast. Puget was also very flexible to include my original hard drives from old PC at no additional charge.
I cannot say enough how pleased I am with this computer and the process for configuring and buying it. I enjoyed tracking the build process online along with the extensive actual test reports. I found the price to be competitive, and was pleasantly surprised when I compared it to the price for building it myself with similar components.
Thank you Jeff and Puget Custom Computers for not only meeting my high expectations, but far exceeeding them."
"Puget has proved to be extremely professional and very helpful. Though i am versatile in the PC world, i had few questions and concerns about building the best gaming computer i could possibly get.
I received the finished products within 10 days from the order, and i was impressed by the constant contact that they maintain with the customer.
The computer i ordered is perfect, and i couldn't have done without their help.
Keep it up Puget....my husband is so jealous, he is in the process of getting one from himself...and he will need your help!"
"I spent a lot time researching different vendors, before I zeroed in on Puget. I was very impressed with the many options I could choose to build my custom computer. I spent more time researching what parts I wanted for my system, looking for cutting edge devices. I knew I would be paying a premium price but based on pass reviews this was acceptable.
I asked questions via email and got a quick response back, when I did place my order the only issue I encountered was the power supply I asked for wasn’t in stock and they weren’t able to get the part from their supplier. They substituted a different power supply, in which I was refunded the difference in price. This process did take a few extra days in the build process.
I basically watched the build and test process that Puget provides to the customer. My computer soon arrived on my door step via FedEx, there was no damage to the system since they basically doulble packed the system, a box within a box with foam protection.
I was amazed how fast the system booted to Win7 via the SSD, truly worth the money. I have been running the system for a few months now with no issues. Truly amazing of machinery and built very professionally
The only recommendation is to perhaps have more parts available or if a part isn’t available from the supplier, to order the part from another supplier and not pass the extra cost to the customer, if there is a increase in price.
Other then that I highly recommend Puget Custom Computers and really hope they don’t get too big and start to lose the personal touch that I have seen with other small companies, aka Monarch Computers. As I would do business with Puget again in the future.

"In ordering a computer with this company I found: The representative to be knowledgable, informitive and prompt. All communications were within 24 hrs if not sooner. I was sent e-mails on the progress of my build including pictures of the finished product prior to being shipped. The clincher for me to place the order with Puget was the back-up disk they send with the computer for that just in case you need to restore the system. This has been a great buying experience. They do just what they say. I will purchase my next one from Puget also. You can't go wrong with Puget..................Jeff..... Farwell MN"
"Being that I had a bad experience with another custom computer builder I waited quite a long time between configuring and actually making a purchase. Upon completion of my first build William George was happy to answer all of my questions. Plus, He didn't pressure me into making a purchase until I was ready to do so, which I definitely appreciated. Anyhow, If I would have only known how good the machine would both look and perform I would have not procrastinated for such a long time.
Meanwhile, my computer came a few days later than expected because the Cooler Master V8 failed during testing so it had to be replaced, which meant that it had to do more testing to make sure the replacement CMV8 would not fail like the original did. While I would have liked to receive my computer a bit sooner sometimes things come up, which can delay the build of a computer. What I did appreciate is that Puget kept me up to date on the status of my Antec P 183, which is a lot more than other companies would have done.
When the machine arrived, it would shut down after a few hours use. After getting in touch with Brian it was determined that I had a
hardware problem. So after a bit more diagnostic work He walked me through how to reset the BIOS. Ever since I did that my computer has worked like a dream.
Finally, while I would have liked my computer to work right out of the box its good to know that Puget doesn't abandon the customer when troubles arise, which is why I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone that needs a well built computer at a reasonable price when you consider the craftsmanship that goes into each and every computer.

" I've dealt with a good few custom PC builders in the past but Puget is in a different category altogether. Their level of customer service is unlike anything I've ever seen before. It was more than a month of talking with Wilson (a polite and knowledgeable Puget rep) before we figured out exactly what I needed. My build was designed specifically for image-editing and heavy Photoshop work.
I ordered the machine shortly after the process of figuring out all the specific components. This was probably the most exciting part of the whole build, for me at least. Puget has a 92 point quality control system and you can watch them checkoff each step. They update it with build steps, benchmarks, and pictures as the build progresses. I checked it probably 100 times within a 3 day period haha.
The whole build, including packing and shipping only took 3 days! Fedex got it to me a day early (2 day) and in great shape. PC was packed great, and came with all the extra parts from the build. Also came with a binder full of information about the computer and an invoice. Puget really goes the extra mile making sure the customer is 100% satisfied with everything.
First impressions of the machine are great. It's much bigger than I expected(Antec P183)! Not a problem though because once tucked away you can barely tell it's on. Super quiet and cool which is awesome because I didn't even specifically ask for a quiet machine. Looks like a piece of art inside the case. Everything tucked away nicely or hot glued into place. Performs exactly as I hoped it would. Fast, quiet, cool, AND looks good. Can't really ask for more than that, but Puget gives it to you with the customer service.
If you're in the market for a new PC, there isn't another builder I'd recommend over Puget. If nothing else send them an email and I'm sure they'd answer any questions you might have. The only thing I lament is that I live so far away! I'd love to meet the guys that put so much work into making sure I got exactly what I wanted.
Thanks Puget!"
"You know that satisfaction of building your perfect sandwich, picking out what cheese, meat, and fixings on what bread, then watching it being put together step by step?
That’s a Puget Systems purchase with one important distinction: The sub guy will happily slap meatballs and guacamole on the same sandwich, even though he knows full well they taste terrible together (pssst, I'm not entirely sure they do). No, your Puget Systems experts -- that's right, you get several -- won't let that happen. They know just how all your ingredients taste in combo.
So don’t settle for some cookiecutter compromise. Get an original. And if two components in your mix don’t love each other, no problem: your Puget techs will suggest comparable BFFs. (Frankly, I don’t know how they even found the time to build my previous machine with me chatting with them about it the whole day.)
In short, Puget Systems bucks the cliche of techies having no people skills (e.g., I’m one, and I don’t).

"Absolutely superb company to do business with. Far better end result than attempting to build myself. Testing capabilities and expertice beyond compare. Puget Sound took the time to build the right computer for my needs - not what might have been a pre-determined 'package'. Use Puget Sound Computers with complete confidence and security in knowing that the end result will probably exceed your expectations. Count me in with the satisfied customer group."
