my origional configuration was a little more than what I wanted to spend. They helped me trim the fat so to say and saved me money with out sacrificing performance where it counts and what I have listed above is what we ended up with.
more important than that is their customer service for me it is every bit as important as the computers they build and this company rock's in both category's service and build quality is where its at.
To top it off this company has free forums where you can swap messages with the owner and his employees or fix a problemb if your having one how many other custom computer building companies have free forums??? Not to damn many which is a huge plus for these guy's in my book. this company is a diamond in the rough.

"Without a doubt Puget Systems is the best "build your own PC" site I have ever used. I was specifically interested in a dual processor system and most sites do not have a way to build such systems, at least not easily. With Puget Systems building a dual processor system was as easy as building a single processor system, and as far as other components of my system, they had everything I needed. Support was incredible as well, with quick feedback to every message I sent in.

If I have any complaint about the site at all it is the manner in which my account's password is displayed in clear text in the browser's address field when certain types of queries are done. IN today's security conscious world, this is not acceptable. I haven't seen any other site that displays your password so prominently for the world to see (or at least whoever is looking over your shoulder). Hopefully they'll address this issue.

"This is the second computer I have purchased from Pugetsystems. The first (intel pent. 2.53) was purchase 21 months ago and works like a work-horse. This one is the amd athlon 64 FX53. Just Prior to this purchase I looked at my alternatives (as I always do when making a major decision) which were HP/Compaq, Dell, Gateway, IBM, and several others. The big 4 were playing rebate games which made it very hard to accurately price the pc. I did not want to play the rebate game. They also showed different models but could not clearly explain the differences between them. I also could only customize a portion of the system and then the available parts were very limited. With pugetsystems I was able to select from a much wider variety of memory,video cards, as well as the motherboard, powersupplies, cases, hard-drives and Chips ensuring that my purchase had quality components. I have owned Dell systems before but customer service was on average very poor. I thus decided to put pugetsystems to the test again. I asked all sorts of technical questions that were answered expertly to my satisfaction. After this I decided to go ahead with the purchase of my highend system from pugetsystes. The product was shipped on time and the on-site install with a hook-up to my network professionally accomlished. To sum it all up, I received an outstanding system,with quality components at a competitive price. I also trust them and know that I do have any questions regarding problems that they will be handled quickly, as they have in the past, professionally and to my satisfaction. "

"PCC has done it again! This is my 3rd high-end system from them and it is a beauty - a liquid cooled DualXeon Quad-Core with a GeForce 8800GTX 768MB liquid cooled video card, and 2TB storage that I use for video editing.
Again, the PCC staff answered all my pre-purchase questions and were able to save me a few bucks by eliminating some unnecessary components.
