"I found the ordering process with Puget Custom Computers to be very easy and helpful, but the real company spirit and values showed up after delivery when the computer developed an infant mortality problem with the motherboard. My call on a Friday drew quick response and Wilson worked with me for just short of 5 hours that evening in an attempt to get the system up and running. We were successful but the machine would not start the following day. Wilson did not hesitate to ask that the computer be shipped back for repair. The system was shipped to me on 12-29 and I know it will be in working order when it arrives.

"Our company bought a high end computer from Puget Systems last year. We were going to buy from Dell, but Jon convinced us he was the way to go. A year and counting, and our system has performed well past our expectations. It was time to buy a few more computers so we once again turned to Jon. Dual 120 GB drives, and all the goodies to power them. Incredible machines, but whats even more incredible is the customer service. If you are considering getting a PC from Dell, Gateway or Compaq don't buy one there. Get one from Jon. Before I got my work PC, I spent $1500 on a PC from Gateway. Nothing but problems, and each time I would take my PC to Gateway, they erased my entire hard drive without asking me. They were never able to get it working. "Nice job describing components on the web pages, good communications. I ordered a dual processor, RAID configured SATA server.

The only problems were that I might have liked a little description of some of the elements of the system when it was dropped off - the mystery switch on the case, for example (turns out it controls the front case fan speed), or just how the three SATA drives were configured. It merely meant I actually had to read my documentation. :-)

The disk drive will need a little adjusting of it's physical seating - currently, the front of the case presses on it so a diskette won't seat properly. However, I suspect they would have caught this with their normal testing and burn in process - I specifically asked them to not install an OS, as I had one here, and wanted to go through the process myself.

They did forget to drop off some docs, cables, mouse and such - it was all packed in a small box that they sent UPS next morning, so I thought that was handled well.

All in all a good experience with a few minor hiccups. I expect to use them again.

UPDATE - And use them again I have. Ordered two workstations, which have been peachy. Only hitch being a fan lead for one of the two power supply fans was failed to be hooked up. It took me a while to catch that, but they were forthcoming with TS help and made no excuses. Other than that hiccup, the workstations have been great.

Now have an order in for two more computers. "

"I 100% recommend this company. When I needed a new computer and didn't want to bother with building it myself I searched around for a local company that had personal service, not a huge company. After finding their site I new I would buy from them. It has been two months and this is the best system I have ever had and it has had the least problems (zero!).
